My wife and I stayed here for three nights. This place is absolutely wonderful. It is a working farm (sheep & cattle) with building that are several hundred years old. The rooms in the barn are all en suite.
The beds are very comfortable, and the whole place is so quiet that you can hear the cows grazing. Room cleanliness was perfect. There was also a great variety of tourist information in the rooms about the local (Crackington Haven/Bude) area and the overall region (Cornwall).
There are numerous walking trails here that lead to a cliff-side walk around the peninsula looking over the Celtic Sea, and you can be there from your room with less than a 30-minute walk.
The breakfast here was well executed and delicious (typical English breakfast - eggs, sausage, bacon, tomato, and mushrooms), and they had some of the best bread (locally baked) and butter that I've ever had in my life.
If you are looking for a B&B in north Cornwall, I recommend Lower Tresmorn Farm without hesitation! read more
