This review is for Lowe's company, we purchased our items online I believe they came out of the Athens store in GA. Lowe's company as a whole are horrible!! I should have read all the negative reviews before buying appliances from Lowe's. Honestly, I don't know how they are still in business when it comes to appliances. They rave about appliances, but what they don't tell you up front is you only have 48 hours to return/replace them for whatever reason. What happens if your brand new $1000 washing machine stops working after only 4 days? Or is damaged in anyway? Well, according to Lowe's you are screwed. They basically tell you to go pound sand. Then have the nerve to ask if it has been used? WTH? Uh, yes how do they think we know it doesn't work? Of course we have used it. They could have cared less and offered no help. When we asked to speak to a manager for help; they basically laid the phone down probably went to the bathroom and got coffee only to come back and lie. The lady said she talked to a team and was not getting a manager. If Lowe's truly cared about their customers, they would do everything to assist you in having your brand new appliance replaced. 4 days? That is ridiculous!! So then you look at manufacture site and they say they won't replace it unless it's in its original packaging. So we tell the Lowe's person that their delivery people took all the packaging. They still didn't care. If you are going to have a ridiculous return/replace no policy basically, you should at least leave the packaging. As a long time shopper at Lowe's I am shocked at how horrible they treat their customers. They do NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!! My family and I will NEVER buy from Lowe's again. read more

i got a service done, a washing machine installation, a man named Jean Hernandez (im not sure how to spell his name ) was so sweet, and said he could get it done in 30 minutes. But ended up getting it done in 10! My cat got out of my room and ran over to him, but he was kind and patient while I grabbed her. 10 out of 10 service, I highly recommend him and his work partner for any installation job. Zero stars. Absolutely wild that y'all do not have a single cash register open. Your multiple workers at customer service look the 15 people waiting in line for the self checkout dead in the eye. I went to Lowe's today to return some potting soil. When I came in the cashier (Sasha) rudely said we would have to go to customer service which is inside the store at other end. We had a great cashier who made the return for us efficiently and was friendly. We went back to garden area to purchase some outdoor plants and were helped by the other cashier who was friendly and efficient. I went over to get some plastic to lay in back of car and asked the cashier (Sasha) how to get it removed. She once again, acted rude and yanked the plastic down and walked back to her register after giving me a dirty look which is when I asked the other cashier what her name was - Sasha she said. I know help is hard to find today but it really makes shopping very difficult when employees are just unpleasant for no reason. Heading to Home Depot next time. read more

I've been to this Lowe's for a decade. The curbside delivery, the cashiers, the customer service desk could never keep the same person more than 3 months. What prompted me to write this review is this morning's experience. It truly sucks this morning the customer service just commanded me to wait in the cold for another guy because the propane tank exchange does not allow a drive up. The female was so arrogant she would not load the tank into my trunk. I've done propane gas exchanges for two winters and the lady this morning was the first to refuse to help and gave me a lecture on that she's a woman too. Compared to Home Depot where a drive by parallel to the yard equipment is possible, Lowe's completely blocked a sensible drive by. I get the liability and safety point but Lowe's can still learn from Home Depot. read more

I came into the store looking for some supplies for this project I've been working on, I was a little lost on finding things because I honestly don't come here, I usually go to home Depot but they didn't have what I was looking for. Anywho while trying to find my way through the store it ran into a customer service girl, I think her name was Dasha, .. she was more than willing to help me out in finding the items I was needing for my project and she will be the only reason I will come back for my future projects and home supplies. My husband and I went to purchase a propane tank at Lowe's on Epps Bridge Road. When he went to check out he presented his Georgia Driver's License with the veteran's symbol. The cashier informed him that heydid not have the correct information for the state of Georgia to get the veteran's discount. She proceeded to hand him a piece of paper with instructions on how to go online and apply for the veteran's discount. I do not understand why a Georgia Driver's license with his photo on it and the veteran's symbol is not good enough for Lowes. He has used his ID in many other stores and restaurants with no issue. Also, older veterans may not be able to use the technology required in the process. It is not about the discount. My issue is with the way my husband was treated. He chose to join the Army to protect our country. He does not deserve to be talked to in the one the cashier used or to be disrespected. You can keep the discount! We left and went to Home Depot and presented his ID, the same one we used at Lowes. They gave him the veteran's discount and thanked him for his service. read more

We came to Lowe's to purchase a grill that was advertised to be on sale. When we got to the store we found the grill, and it was not marked as the sale price. We asked an associate who was very nice about the price, and he told is to go to the customer service desk, and they would match the price. This is what we expected because this is a customary practice among stores who are customer friendly. We asked the girl at the desk and she called over "Stephanie" who was not nice at all (this was the same woman who rushed passed up earlier when we were trying to get some help.) She told us that "they" would not give us the price because it was on clearance at the Lexington Road store. (Huh?) Who is "they?" No explanation beyond that or help. But the Lexington Road store says it's not available online and $80 to have it delivered which makes no sense at all!!! I told "Stephanie" that they just lost a sale in addition to the sale of two rocking chairs. Of course she didn't care and made no effort to make it right. I miss locally opened stores and the service they provide. Shop local as much as you can to avoid being treated like you are nothing. Curbside pickup here is awful. Also, there are many items you can't order online, even though you have to have someone load them outside. I set my alarm, went early, had a list of what I needed complete with codes. The woman rang it all up, charged me, and then told me she didn't know where some of the items were, she'd have to call someone. Turns out one of them wasn't even in stock. Could she issue the refund? Why of course not! I had to go inside the store to customer service for the refund. Also, the employee loading my car with mini pine bark nuggets was not wearing a mask, nor was the employee stocking plants. Turns out, when I got home, I had not been given mini pine bark nuggets at all, just the big-chip regular ones. Resolved not to go here again -- maybe ever. Avoid using for a kitchen remodel at all costs! Here is the short version: We paid in May and then sent a certified letter to the CEO, COO, and local manager at the end of September to request a refund and remove Hogan Builders from the job. It is now three days until Christmas and we still don't have a kitchen or guest bathroom! I want to give a shout out to Lowe's on Epps Bridge for their help with a bathroom remodeling project for my 2 bathrooms. First of all, Bart and Cindy in the Bathroom Plumbing and Design department worked with me to find the cabinets and design I wanted. I could not afford custom cabinets so they helped me with my design for both bathrooms. For my hall bathroom, Cindy found the perfect vanity... It sat up off the floor with a shelf so I could put folded towels on the shelf, and then slide my scales and shoes under the shelf, out of the way. A new porcelain enameled bath tub, and a new toilet. Spent less than $700 on these 3 items. It was easy for the workmen to install and my bathroom was ready to go within 1 day after the flooring was laid. Now I just have to get it painted. For my master bathroom, I wanted something a little nicer. The VillaRich cabinets looked good and were a lot cheaper than anything else I saw or could afford. The cabinets would take 30 days and we ordered them. The 10/3 delivery date worked fine because we had to take out the old cabinets, install laminate flooring, install new toilet, new bathroom tile for the shower. We were on time for delivery.. I confirmed the delivery in store on Tuesday, 10/1, before Thursday delivery. Only problem, on Thursday, no cabinets delivered by 4 when I called and checked on delivery time. Somehow my delivery date was moved to 10/7... problem was that I had cabinet installers, plumber, flooring finishers coming Friday, 10/4... I called Matt, the manager and was pleasantly surprised that he even took my call.... Told me he would see what he could do. I called him back at 6:30 pm and he said he was doing his best to make me the first delivery of Friday. And he delivered. My cabinets were delivered Friday morning before 8:30. In a time where people love to complain about poor service and employees/management not caring - just going through the motions. I was very impressed with Lowe's from Start to Finish. Well Done.
