Bought a washer and dryer from Lowes. It was the worst buying experience I ever had. The sales guy Geoff couldn't even complete the sale. He knew nothing about the Maytags we bought. Management was nowhere to be found. When the deliver knuckleheads showed up they broke my water line. I had to call a plumber and knock out a piece of tile in my mud room to fix. Want to buy a screw or a mop, then Lowes is your place. Want to buy an appliance....well you have been warned. read more

There employed were terrible except for one I took them exactly half an hour to help me and my mother and they all had bad attitudes and try to up sell me but luckily one of their employees gave it to me straight and helped me make a good buy which is why they got 2 stars read more

I have never been treated so well at a Lowes or any other retail store in my entire life. Everyone was so helpful. The manager took us aside to make sure we had had a great experience, and she even walked out of the store after a transaction was complete. Very happy with my Lowe's. They are always so accommodating and helpful. Bought a fridge, washer and dryer- easy transaction and installers were extremely professional. I bought a dishwasher - didn't like it- swapped it out for another more expensive one but we are really happy with it. Had trouble with the plumber with that one but that wasn't Lowes fault and they worked hard to make it right. Curtain rods? Very helpful features folks. Dawn is helping me order some blinds. I bought a swing, paid for assembly and it was delivered - everything went well. Spent about $10K last year and happy with the service. read more

I went to this Lowe's on the afternoon of 9/1. The MOD was extremely dismissive of my concern and refused to help me. I then went to guest services for assistance and they got the same manager. She said "I just told her I can't help!" I have never been treated so rudely in my life. She is extremely condescending and needs a lesson on management and customer service. read more

The dishwasher that I ordered from Lowes 2 weeks ago came today but was damaged. Another time, when I went to pick up a light fixture that was on special order, they handed me a box that was thoroughly bashed in. Their quality control is terrible. He helped me pick the best option on both and scheduled my installation through Alladin Doors. I purchased over $5k in appliances here this weekend and the service I received from my sales specialist was amazing. If you're looking to buy new appliances (which is ordinarily a painful experience) go see Jim Dettler! He is super accommodating and one of those people you can tell is just a genuinely nice person. The other sales person that was hovering around us for about an hour came off as a total jerk and was busy by the time we were ready to place our order. People listen up, if you are planning to purchase a fence from Lowe's don't do it. They lied & said they would deliver my fence/materials on the same day as my install, they called at 8:30 am said they would be there by 10:00 & did not show up until 1:00 pm at which time the folks hired by Lowe's to install the fence decided they were not doing the install & left. The delivery person left the fence/materials with us but never told us that we were responsible if something should happen to the stuff like it was stolen/damaged. If I had known this I would have told them to put the stuff in our garage. These people are the worst and have ruined my day. Boycotting them! read more

So from a selection standpoint I find this to be one of the better Lowes locations which is the only reason it warrants getting 2 stars.... the customer service here absolutely stinks!! So I would have thought (as with most places) a pregnant woman would get a little bit better service however didnt that theory get debunked when .... my husband tried to get help in the fans section, waited for 10 minutes, and then I go to ask for help twice and waited for another 20 minutes. After standing for nearly 30 minutes and close to feeling the need to pass out I gave up. We went to check out, and when they asked "find what you need"? I fussed, said no and here's why... they immediately sent the guy from th e fans dept to talk to me and my husband who really ended up not being an expert at all as he gave us bad information which we later proved was the case by reading tons of reviews of the fan we were interested in and of course going to dr. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I visited this store to buy tiles to finish my flooring job since the Lowe's I live near ran out of stock. When I entered the flooring section I struggled to locate the tiles. I pressed their "help button" which nobody responded to for almost 5 minutes as it was announced to the store that I needed assistance. I was eventually recognized after watching at least two employees walk past me. The employee that came to help had no useful information and brought me up to customer service. While at "customer service" I showed them my receipt. I was told that they couldn't match the price of the other store. After offering to pay their price on the tiles I was told no one could help me locate it in the store. Their reasoning was the floor assistance employee was on lunch. I once again tried to wait for help since I really needed to finish my floors at home. After another 15-20 minutes of walking around this store receiving no helpful assistance I searched through each tile until I located the one I needed. But still no flooring employee to help! I went to the front and asked if their was anyway they could help me. Still got a big dismissive no. I forgot to mention I had my 10 month old with me this whole time, who was starting to become upset. The customer service employee told me they could hold it and I can buy the tiles over the phone once a manger called me. STILL no call even though the store was open for another three hours! Please avoid this Lowe's if you want to get you home projects finished! read more

I shopped here today and was treated with "You're a woman in a hardware store" again. Not the first time being treated this way here, and I'm just tired of rude, old Lowe's male employees talking down to me. I asked for a replacement handle for my outside hose faucet. He said, "we don't have those." (Really?) I replied, "None? You don't have any?" He answered, "well, we have one, but it's a universal one. It probably won't work." I came back with, "it's better than none." He walked 10 ft., snapped it off the shelf, leaving half a dozen still on the shelf, and said, "Here it is, but I doubt it'll work." "I'll try it anyway." was all I said. (Because universal means it won't work on any?) This isn't the first time this Lowe's has left me feeling disrespected, an unwanted bother, and generally too unintelligent to understand how a faucet handle works. I'm now willing to drive the extra few miles to shop at another big box store. read more

As much as this is a review of Lowe's it is a little more so of a fabulous employee named Helen in the appliance department. We purchased a washer and picked it up to install ourselves. The first washer would not spin so we took it back. The second washer wouldn't spin and after trying to trouble shoot it. We took it back. That is when I met Helen I told her the issues we had had and she turned me on to a different washer. I brought it back and it did the same thing. OK, now statically that is just about impossible to be a washer issue. So I called Helen and after checking a couple of things she ask me about the hose and drain situation. I told her the drain pipe was 12 inches above the washer and she said that might be the issue. It should be no higher than the back of the washer. So as it turned out when we lowered the drain tube below the highest point of the washer we were in business. Thanks so much for your helpful trouble shooting! This is the worst place in my shopping experience. Nobody was willing to help and staff don't even have friendly manners. The customer service is poor in this location. During the check out time I wasn't treated properly and the person who attended me in the garden flowers department showed attitude towards me. She did not put my things in the plastic. She just checked me out and was just merely standing still. I waited for a few seconds and just left the place. I didn't want to create it a big problem. She behaved like she is buying it for me. Please, please don't go this location. Go the Home depot or the Lowe's in Apex. JUST DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION. SAVE YOUR DIGNITY. read more

I had attempted to ask for assistance but all I encountered was a bunch of kids acting unprofessional and a rude cashier (her name tag read gabey). She called the gardens manager over and he was just as rude!
