Stupendous service. I recently went to go find these Teeny Totes and I knew it would be a stretch since it was close to Christmas time. I first asked associate Brian for help and not only did he direct us to where they are but also he double checked with his manager to make sure his information was still up to date. Then I went to the checkout with Ime and she went above and beyond and even wrote down my number to call and see if they did find more totes. Then she found an extra one for me! Then I passed By Brooklyn on the other checkout side and she gave us more spots to check because she saw how we wanted more totes. Making sure we covered every inch of the place. I ordered paint and it was delivered opened. They refuse to pick it up or even reimburse me. I have to drive 120 miles round trip to the nearest Lowe's hardware or fed x. Loaded my cart with $500.00 worth of wood while waiting on a stack of 2x4 so I could add another $300.00 worth of wood. Then I was told that they can't get the wood down because they can't find the forklift. lol!! I think they care about the dispensary being open when they clock out. What a joke!! The store itself is nice, and employees are relatively helpful. However, I ordered flooring service from them and it was a total nightmare. From the person at the retail location who woefully misquoted the time to completion and how the process would work, to the customer service rep who never knew where the supplies were or who was supposed to pick up what, to the actual contractors who called us "pendejo" and other things assuming we didn't speak any Spanish. There was a language barrier and we were trying to answer their questions by pointing at things, which is what they did when they arrived, but then got mad at us for doing the same. "Service Pros" never showed up when they were supposed to, no one seemed to know where the supplies were, and no one told us anything at any point. I repeatedly had to take time away from work to make myself available just for the workers or supplies to never show up. I would message them just to find out they weren't showing or were "held up," but they never notified us. read more

Called garden center for info on sod and although they did not have any left the young man who helped me was very informative and polite. seems most of the employees there are very polite and try their best. With this being one of two larger stores like this I'd love it if the store were bigger and offered more plants that do well in this region specifically. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but I had to write this one. My husband and I moved here from Arizona a couple of months ago, we ordered all our appliances, a safe and a Christmas tree there. Although all our appliances are not here yet and we understand how things are these days, I have to give a shout out to all the people in the appliances, associates on the registers up front and in the returns and the manager Alfred for personally delivering one of our appliances to make sure we received it. This store has done an outstanding job with their customer service, everybody went out and beyond to make us satisfied customers. We will definitely do our shopping there from now on. I've never had issues with Lowe's before but the last few times We have gone in they are out of stock or if I order anything it will take 4-8 months before it comes in. Then I go in today to buy a grill for Father's Day and they will not sell the display to me but will have one ready for me to pick up on Monday. What is the difference of them selling me the display and replacing it with the one they are going to build for Monday? Then instead of the manager coming to talk to me about it he sends a young kid to tell me no. I was very disappointed. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this place. I've shopped at Lowe's for many years and I usually chose them over their competitors because 1) I've never experienced any issues and 2) they give 10% off to military. I moved here a few months ago and bought a new house so we have had many many trips to Lowe's. I have had issue after issue with this Lowe's, I'm not sure if it's that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing or what on earth is going on here, but I wouldn't shop here anymore if I could avoid it. Unfortunately, it's not like there's an abundance of options. When ordering blinds it took about 5-7 days just to get them to come measure. However, once we finally got the blinds ordered and their contractors came to install them they were amazing. The contractors were very thorough, nice, and detail oriented. They felt one of the blinds wasn't quite perfect, so they called the store and had them immediately drive over another set so it was perfect. I ordered a washer and dryer set, that was a nightmare!!! I don't even want to begin to go in to the detail of this horrific process. Believe it or not (based on the other reviews) I haven't had any issues in their paint department. Now I'm working on ordering a garage door... I called on Friday and I was told a contractor would be in contact with me over the weekend. Nothing! I call on Monday and they said they couldn't find anything but they'd be in touch within 30 minutes over an hour later and still nothing. I cannot wait to move away from here and no longer have to deal with this location anymore! read more

Friendly staff! I just wish there was more of them to help. Weekdays are the best days to come since it gets super busy on Saturdays and Sundays. If you need lots of assistance prepare to have a field day here if you come on a weekend. read more

I'm rating this Lowe's 5 stars as a DIRECT result of Teresa!!! My husband and I were here on 3 April around 3pm and we were looking for a screw that we needed. Since the screw we needed was stripped in the ceiling fan brace, we didn't have it with us but tried to describe it. It was Teresa who saw us looking lost and asked us if we needed any help and not only KNEW exactly what we were talking about, she walked us over to EXACTLY where the screw we needed was located and she thoroughly laid out the possible screw length and thickness we needed because we weren't exactly sure which one it could be. Teresa knew the names of everything!!! We even tracked her down later in the store with more questions because she was so helpful and lead us to some great stuff we ended up buying - spent almost $300 and found exactly what we needed thanks to her initiative, knowledge, and professionalism! Was totally blown off yesterday when I went in to sign my installation agreement. I spent 2K in this store over the last week and only because there is not an alternative. Staff lacks knowledge of product and services. Manager unresponsive and in my opinion store needs an overall in management and training. Manger looks like an all-star due to numbers but put some competition in Clovis than I bet not so much. read more

To Whom I doubt will care: Nov. 6, 2011 I have had a very poor experience at the Lowe's Home Improvement in Clovis, New Mexico. It began a little over a month and half ago. I am a dentist in the small community of Muleshoe, Texas, some 30+ miles from the store. I needed to replace some vinyl flooring in 3 small rooms (~ 37 square feet total). I travelled 4 times to the store because no one there could or would help me and "come back when someone could" or to re-sign papers that were not completed the 3rd time by Joe Morris who finally would help me with the purchase and installation. Part of the problem was a water heater that no one could remove and replace during installation (state lines I guess). It was agreed to and I was charged extra for the removal/replacement of the water heater. Due to the complication of the water heater and scheduling, I finally got Robert Wachter (the store "installation expert") to proceed on Friday, November 4 with a single day installation. Being very apprehensive by now, I called Mr. Wachter Wednesday Nov. 2 to confirm all was a "go". He absolutely promised and "guaranteed" that all was great. Told him I expected that. The day before, my clinic staff cleaned and removed everything including mechanical equipment that runs my clinic except for the water heater due to staff and bathroom issues. Even though we would be closed for the day, the staff would be present to facilitate the install. Mr. Wachter said my presence would not be necessary. They were scheduled to arrive Friday morning "early". We expected mid morning due to time zone differences. At 10 am - no one had arrived, so I made the first call to store. A Becky, would check and call back which she never did. I called at 11 am and talked to Janette, same response. After 11:30 I called again, she did not know. Called at 11:45 am, she did not know but the installer Mr. Lance Dial had not picked up the materials (he had made the original measurements and estimate). I continued to call every 15 to 30 minutes. Janette told me at 12 noon that they had picked up the materials and would be there in 30 minutes and left 10 minutes ago. At 1:10 pm they arrived but were in no hurry. Isaac - one of the floor layers who was not very professional looking and said unprofessional things to staff. Mr. Dial was never on site. Isaac said they had forgotten the round and that they could not finish. I called Lowe's again and finally after 3 attempts to talk to anyone who knew anything. (Store manager- Mr. Nick Chamberlin- was never on site anytime I was at the store or when I called supposedly ---anytime!) A Bobby Lockmiller agreed to take the round to the installers (nice man) so they could proceed after that. I was then informed even though it was in the contract and they had agreed, the water heater would not be removed because of license issues and the flooring would be left "lapping over". After several phone calls to Lowe's in Clovis again, I finally got Mr. Quine Baccas - some kind of manager-- who found a plumber to come and remove and replace the hot water heater The plumber was very nice. After installation, a water leak was discovered in the bathroom area where they had laid the flooring. A non-employee happened be there and "helped" fix the leak, and by the way... the installers brought no wax seal for toilet and my staff had to go to another hardware store to buy one. My staff left after 8pm on a Friday night. (Yes .... I have great employees). My staff would have loved to have left at 5 pm. They missed the High School game -one had kids in high school. The following people were not helpful or did not keep their promises: Robert Wachter, Richardo, Becky, Joe Morris, Janette, Isaac, Lance Dial, and Tina Dial, and "the never heard from " Nick Chamberlin. This is a very poorly managed store. read more

A new $3000.00 craftsman zero turn mower has starting issues. I called to have it picked up to get repaired it being under warranty. They said pick up will be Tuesday 6/22. No show. I called curbside pickup, they said they will call me back directly. 2 hour passes and no call. I call them back, they put me on hold 25 minutes. I hang up and called back asking for a supervisor. Another 15 minutes on hold and finally get a supervisor. He says he will run back and talk to delivery personally, another 15 minutes on hold. Comes back and says pick up will be Thursday 6/24. Seems the first pick up we were told was wrong and they bumped the pick up. One said Tues. One said wed. Supervisor said they don't go to our town but on Thursdays. Took almost 2 weeks and 6 damn phone calls. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THERE DOING THERE. If it's not picked up we will take it to them (the 190 mile round trip) and demand a refund. read more

I don't know what happened to the customer service here. They were one of the top places around here when it comes to customer service. I spent about 4 hours in the store today waiting on help and most of the time help didn't come. This is the third time I came to cabinets and counters and again "I'm not a counter top specialists". Asked for help getting cabinets onto my cart, no one shows up. Walked to the front to ask again...someone finally comes after waiting a while. We go to tile and ask for assistance and we were told we would be helped after she is done with the current customer. So we wait...and wait...and wait. Finally I check and she's shooting the shit with her friend! So I ask if anyone else can help she said I can after I put these boxes up, as she put up the last one. So we wait again. After a while I check and she's gone! After checkout we asked for help getting our things loaded. The person helping put a kitchen cabinet into the truck and damaged the bottom. I said excuse me you just ruined the bottom, he looked and said oh that's not that bad it's fixable. Just disappointed I've never experienced such poor service from here. read more

Worst store ever!!! Nobody knows what they are doing! They are not knowledgeable in the area in which they work in. They can't answer questions and forget about special ordering anything from them because it will never get here. When you call they will bounce you around from person to person and never give you any helpful information on why your order is taking forever....and forget about asking when it will get there because every time you call they give you different dates and BS excuses. They have the best customer service by far. The staff is friendly. They go above and beyond. I bought a shed there and had the lady manager assist in loading into the trailer to haul. She stayed out with her employees to make sure it went well. On another trip, i had a rip on a bag of soil. An associate taped the bag and gave me plastic so my car wouldn't be full of dirt. Well first off don't ever order anything online because they blamed their system for all the mistakes they made. My husband and I ordered some things to be delivered for our renovations the next day. They called us as we were waiting for our delivery to tell us that the payment didn't go through. So after getting the payment thing settled over the phone the items were to be shipped the next day, a day late. The delivery came the next day and the drivers were very nice. They even called the store to find out where the rest of our stuff was, because only half our stuff was on the truck. They told us we had canceled those items when we never canceled anything. We called the manager and had to reorder the missing items only to have them ordered for pickup. Witch was wrong. They then had to refund and cancel that order to reorder it for delivery. We are still waiting on our plywood almost a week later and we had to call them back because my card was charged multiple times for one portion of our order. I love this store after my recent purchase: I recently bought a weedwacker and I also bought one of those heads with blades for those thick weeds. I couldn't figure out how to change the head and the instructions didn't explain it and neither did the manufacturer's website so I took it to Lowes. I figured those guys would know...I figured wrong, the guy helping me ended up braking the part where it spins. Another gentleman came to help me and FINALLy we got it off but by then the damage was done. They gave me a number to call and I'm glad I called and took the guy who broke the machine's name cause they needed all that info. The so the manager contacted me that same evening, then the next morning to take it in. They swapped it out for the exact same model. What customer service! AMAZING! THANKS DILLAN!
