I went in today to work with an associate regarding my faulty dishwasher, and a warranty replacement through the company. I was fortunate enough to have Reggie be the individual to help me. I'm not going to tell you that Reggie did somersaults, or backflips... As that would be inherently unsafe :-) but I will tell you he went above and beyond to ensure that the warranty package was done properly, did not cost me anything out of pocket, and was done quickly. Reggie is the epitome of excellent customer service! We need more Reggies in this world, what a beautiful place it would be. And within five minutes of me leaving the store, customer service called to work on the replacement appointment as well! read more

I have been a customer of Lowes for many years. Monday I order a stove and refrigerator to be delivered. I was told that the old items would be hauled off for $50 per item or they would be taken to the edge of the street at no charge. The installation went fine but they left the items at the door. When I called to have someone to come back to place them at the edge of the street. I was told if place at street there would be a haul off charge. Purchased a washer with a 5 year warranty in 2022 that is currently having issues. Have the original receipt. Spoke to three different employees over the phone who told me "our records only go back 2 years", to which my response was "why offer a 5 year warranty". Finally went to the store where after some work we were able to identify the warranty over the phone with the claims department. They pawned it off to "Jax appliance FL", who showed up the next day, said it would take a day for the parts to be approved and that he would be back Wednesday. He now hasn't returned multiple voicemails and texts(his read receipts are on). Called claims, they said the company already submitted that the washer is fixed. Some quick research has shown this company has done this multiple times. Between the way the employees at this store treat you when they are in the wrong, and the way claims still subs out work to a person that has burned them already, I would highly encourage anyone reading this to make the short trip to Home Depot. Lowes Home Improvement offers DIY Workshops both in store and virtually. I had received an email advertising that the workshops were happening in store again and saw that the first class offered at the Lowes on Atlantic Blvd was for remodeling your bathroom! I'm usually available on Saturdays- so I jumped at the chance to sign up and went in for the 9am class. They are also advertising on FB and you can find more information for stores near you on the website. Ok- we all know that corporate communication to branches is non-existent, it's a given- most businesses have little to no communication and can cause confusion. That was evident when I went to Customer Service to check (per the email from corporate Lowes). No one knew what I was talking about- the manager was aware, so I took a seat and waited. I would call ahead to make sure the class is happening at your location. Brad, with 50 years experience as a plumber was my guide for the workshop and I was the only attendee! Hey-hey, that means individual attention. We ran through an install of a faucet, using one of the display vanities. And covered how to install one of the vanities too. Brad had to gather his supplies, so we started a little late- but I got hands on experience and great tips from a professional. He even gave me tips on what to do if the piped coming out of the wall need to be replaced (as they did when I remodeled my kitchen). I'm thinking Brad is an exceptional example of a Lowes Workshop instructor- but I hope to attend more classes and dig in! read more

I've always purchased my Spring plants from another store but a friend suggested I try Lowe's. We went on a Saturday morning so it was a little busy but not too congested that we couldn't take our time and look at all the plants and flowers before committing. I purchased three lily's, one peace, orange and red as well as a small orchid for my desk. I also bought three clay saucers to go under the pots I purchased a few months ago, Miracle grow potting soil and plant food. I've already placed them in their new pots and the lily's are starting to bloom. In 2014 I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's. The sales associate was super helpful as this was my first time buying these types of appliances. I ordered on a Thursday in store and my appliances were delivered the following Sunday. They offered special financing so I was able to pay off the credit card in a year with no interest. I've been to Lowe's on a few other occasions looking for hard to find items and typically hit the jackpot. I looked everywhere and could not find floor vents for the townhouse I was renting. The current ones were old, rusty and nasty looking. So I went to Lowe's and found them. I've had good experiences at this Lowe's location and would recommend it to my friends! read more

NEVER AGAIN. Ordered a stackable washer/dryer first week of June 2024. Vendor delays. Then they FINALLY deliver it to me early July - the unit looked like it had been hit by a train. Why even bring such product out to me? Back to the drawing board - reorder. More vendor delays. Finally shipped out yesterday. Installers were in such a hurry they did not appropriately attach the dryer vent. Now more rescheduling and delays. Meanwhile, this is a rental home I've been holding off the market waiting on the washer/dryer. I used to order all of my appliances from Sears with such great success on delivery, installation, customer service. So sad they are no longer in our community. Loewe's - you need to get your communication and act together. Why give customers delivery and maintenance windows that you do not follow? Another issue. Lowes does not stand behind their products, and they don't care about their customers. I bought an expensive refrigerator from them which broke in less than two months. The repair will be free, but will take two weeks. No refrigerator in Florida for two weeks! Lowes offered absolutely NO mitigation...no help whatsoever with this situation. Between Lowes and Home Depot, I feel like the prices are higher at Lowe's. The selections do vary as well, and I feel like Lowes has slightly "fancier" products, hence the higher prices. I don't have expensive taste by any means, however while shopping for blinds, we did see several that were reduced substantially, so while the originally prices were higher than Home Depot, they all ended up being less expensive due to the price drop. Just something to keep in mind as there are deals to be had. I like the service here, each time we've been here, we've always has some ask if we needed help. read more

Lowe's has become "date night", running over to buy gardening tools, ceiling fans, flowers, and more. Prices seem to be pretty good. Stock levels can be hit or miss but with the pandemic supply chain issues, I can't blame the store. Cashiers are always cheerful and the floor employees are helpful. Instead of helping and then moving on to the next customer they chat at length about trivial stuff. Ok I've read the flip the coin yelp review comparisons between Lowe's and it's next door neighbor Home Depot and truth be told, I was in the same camp until early this Spring when we came home from a long Navy trip and discovered that our refrigerator / freezer that we had for 22 years decided to go "sinker" as in stop cooling, stop working, stop smells Containment!! Unbelievably stinky when we made the discovery and opened those doors. This was a very late evening discovery (since we had just come home from the airport) so we beat feet to Lowe's and were not expecting stars to align as well as they did (drum roll please) - especially because we knew we were pushing Lowe's closing time and realistically figured that we would be out a fridge for days perhaps a week. But lo and behold, the Lowe's stars aligned immaculately and we found the perfect replacement fridge which they (these awesome Lowe's Dudes) were able to confirm was in stock and in their local JAX warehouse. Here's the why Lowe's stepped into the 5 star zone rating well-eclipsing Home Depot - these wonderful Lowe's dudes confirmed next morning delivery of our new fridge (as well as the haul away of the old one) AND we purchased the new fridge ON SALE with the Lowe's Dudes tacking on an additional military discount! So we are forever beholding to this Lowe's and will always "seek them first" in consideration of home goods, hardware needs!! Our new stainless steel freezer/ refrigerator is awesome BTW!! read more

Whatever you do don't buy appliances from Lowe's. I purchased 4 appliances from Lowe's less than two years ago and 3 of the 4 do not work or have needed multiple repairs. They were all kitchenaide and whirlpool brand. They were all purchased brand new with a protection plan. I currently have a washer that has not worked in almost three months. They sent out a repair person after 10+ phone calls and no shows. The appliance person brought parts to repair and then told me the washer is not repairable. Lowe's sent me an email claim response saying my claim was "resolved." The appliance company told Lowe's parts were installed and the washer was working when they left which NEVER happened!! The washer has never worked since it broke in July. I now have had to file a totally new claim and start the process all over again. I wish a half a star was an option. I have been a loyal Lowe's customer ever since I was the age I started shopping at hardware stores. However, over the past 6 months, I have had such bad experiences with this place in particular that I'll now be going a half a mile further down the road to shop at a hardware store with an orange and white logo. The thing that set me off happened at this Lowe's. I went and bought a new miter saw for the hoildays that was on sale. When I picked it up at the store the box looked a little damaged, and I specifically asked if it was used or returned. The associate assured me that Lowe's doesn't do that with this brand of tool. Taking his word, I bought it. When I got home I unboxed it and had obviously been used. The blade was bent and dull from use, there was saw dust all over it, parts were missing or broken, the rubber handle was worn in spots, there were used ear plugs in the box, styrofoam was missing, and the topper was the fact that a guy had written his last name on the saw with sharpie. Needless to say I took it back to Lowe's and 3 managers said they were having trouble believing that I picked it up like that and were considering not taking it back. I raised hell, and It took the manager of the managers to take it back, only after they threw away my receipt proving that I had bought it. However, when I asked for a new one I was told that they weren't in stock and I would have to make yet another trip to Lowe's to pick one up. I wasn't offered any compensation or even a single apology for the saw or for my repeated trips back and forth to the store or anything. This will be the 6th time I will have to load, unload and drive to Lowe's to pick up this saw. After I get my exchange I'm done. read more

Maybe it's just me, but I've never been able to distinguish a difference between Lowe's and Home Depot. The thing that makes this Lowe's location even more perplexing is that Home Depot is its next door neighbor. It's like the Walgreens v. CVS rivalry all over again! I've broken my own rule - reviews shouldn't be a comparison between businesses, but rather an authentic experience at one. Onward and upward! I've been running back and forth to Lowe's to buy storage boxes and knick knacks for my move across town. Each experience has been, for lack of a better word, good. The prices seem fine and the employees are generally knowledgeable of where items are. If you're like me, you say to yourself while walking in, "I don't need assistance. I'll find what I need on my own." Then ten minutes later, you realized you've wasted ten minutes by procrastinating asking an employee for help. Worst experience ever at a Lowe's store. My wife and I were in this Lowe's location on Sunday afternoon. We had visited the Regency store earlier and my wife has purchased a Christmas angel that was on display because there were no more in stock online or in a store so we were surprised when we found one on display at this location. My wife asked if the associate if display was for sale since there were none available in a box. His response was no so we asked to see the store manager to see if he would be willing to sell the display so the associated radioed the store manager to come to the display area. We waited about 20 - 30 minutes and no one came so I went to the customer service desk to ask for the store manager, Mark, and he was at the customer service desk and his response to me when I asked for him was, "I'm only one person and I'm the only one here right now and I'll get to you when I'm done". The tone of his voice was not one that was very pleasant. I went back over to the area of the displays where my wife was waiting and about 10 minutes later the associate came over and told my wife "the store manager said to tell you he's not selling the display and that he's not coming over either. Not what we expected it would have been better if they said nothing at all. I went back on Monday, just to see if the angel was still there and it was. There were 2 associates in the area and one happened to be the manager over that area and they were having a conversation but totally ignored me being in the area and didn't ask if I needed assistance. They went as far as to turn their backs to me and move into the aisle to continue their conversation. I had to walk over to them and ask about the display being for sale. The one person that claimed to be the manager said that it wasn't so I asked again for the store manager and went to customer service and Micah the store manage came out. He told me that the MST team had released the product to be sold but he still needed authorization from his supervisor to sell it. He took down my information to contact me either way and I have still not heard from him. On my way out I noticed the associate and the other department manager had been watching my interaction with the store manager, why they were doing this I have no Idea. I left reviews for the Regency and the River City Marketplace locations they both were great they provided great customer service and their supervisors empowered them to make decisions. I would in deed continue to visit these 2 locations but the one on Atlantic needs to brush up on their customer service . read more

Went with a friend to pick up some landscaping pavers. They'd been ordered and paid for, and her handyman hadn't bothered to pick them up for several days. First associate couldn't figrr it out, referred her to his manager, who directed us to take the vehicle 'to the stop sign, then turn right' and someone would be out with the order. After turning right, we encountered an associate who, in no uncertain terms, vehemently informed us that NO private vehicles were allowed where we had been instructed to go. So... After waiting for several minutes (20? 30?) Friend went into store to inquire about the status. As she returned, she noticed a pallet with her name displayed, which contained the majority of her order. About the same time, two associates came out with the identical order on a cart. They loaded it (thanks!), We picked up the remaining mulch, and left. Overall, it took over an hour to get the order resolved. Part of the problem was undoubtedly the recalcitrant handyman who did not timely fetch the original order, but there also were obvious communication problems as detailed above. Could have been worse...could have been much, much better. read more

I went here to purchase a tool for a simple home repair. The only person who would acknowledge me as a human being and as a paying customer was a very nice woman working the customer service desk. Everyone else saw me and did not ask "how are you" or "can I help you find something" at all. It made me sad like that one time I thought I went to the 7th Dimension and turns out it was a bar in the 8th Dimension. It was really confusing. It turns out, some guy named John is the store manager. John, if you are reading this, please have your people acknowledge their customers. I noticed that they did this with other customers as well. Sometimes a simple greeting to customers gives that extra edge when shopping for whatever. This review might not make sense, but neither did the customer service experience. I guess I need to visit this store during the day when "the walkers" are sleeping. If you need to purchase goods from this store, check it out. This morning I called for over 1 1/2 hours trying to get connected to doors and windows department. Never got hold of them over the phone. So I jumped in the car and drove over. Went to doors and windows department. No one was there. I pressed the button requesting assistance. No one came. After 10 minutes a female Lowe's associate was walking down the main isle. She stopped and asked if I needed help, I told her yes. She told me that she would get help for me. She made a call and said someone would be with me shortly. Well I spent 30 minutes waiting. Evidently the manager has enough money and he doesn't need my money. I eventually left with out being helped. I have found this is typical of Lowe's. Think I'd rather go to Ace hardware. Ace Hardware may not have everything but what they don't have they can point you in the right direction. read more

I bought a hanging light fixture that needed a bulb replacement. My son bought the first set of 6 that stated they were bright white but unfortunately they had a yellow glow so I took one he bought and one from my fixture so I could compare until I found the correct shade of light I needed. I couldn't find a station to screw in the bulbs to compare each shade so a wonderful gentleman named Bradley climbed up to a hanging chandelier until we found the exact shade of bulb I was looking for, it was called "daylight". If it wasn't for his assistance I would have become so irritated and probably would have embarrassed myself. Thank you Bradley for your assistance, you were a godsend. read more

After losing my appliance order, messing up my delivery twice and causing me to miss a day of work for their error, their offer to "compensate" me was to take the money I paid to the 3rd party plumbing company who did the installation, even though the plumbing company was not at fault. Lowe's idea of customer service is to steal money from a local small business in order to cover up for their mistake. Their management staff (Kayla Abbott, Clinton Nelson) was rude and dismissive. Message menu said press for curbside pickup info. Rang several times an returned to main menu. Same thing next day. Finally got operator on phone. She said she was only one there. Looked up order, said give them 10-15 minutes to pull it. Went to store several hours later. Items had not been pulled. I know things are more difficult during the pandemic, but there's no reason for a major chain, that's been making a lot of profit during the crisis, to have such bad service. read more

Everyone is always so friendly and we love bringing our dog here. They have dog treats too! We usually are able to find what we're looking for, but are offered advice along the way which is nice when the customer service person knows more than us! We were seeking some fruit trees and other plants for our yard. After visiting several Lowe's in the area, we found this location had the best variety, most knowledgeable lawn & garden personnel and healthiest plants & trees. We were able to get a Key Lime tree, Persian lime and Green Cream Mexican Guava plant to go in our yard to accompany our Ruby Red grapefruit we've had for years. We also found great flowering plants for the front beds and a good citrus fertilizer. They were well stocked and had many items we were seeking. We've always had good experiences shopping at Lowe's and this store on Atlantic is our new favorite. It's easy to miss, so look for the Wendy's out in front. read more

This is the closest Lowe's location to me. The store is clean and well enough organized. I was able to quickly find the item I was looking for. However, the checkout was somewhat of a different experience. I think they only had 1 cashier open and so checkout was slow. Not sure if they had self checkout and didn't want to lose my spot on line so I just stayed on line. Will come back here again especially since I have to return what I just bought and expect returns to not be a problem as it has never been. read more
