This Lowes location is very nice and well stocked. We travel in from Flagstaff for items we need and find the staff to always be friendly and accommodating. It can get a bit busy during the summer with the seasonal folks and lower staff. read more

LOWES has the best prices on Appliances from the Builder Grade up to the Highest End makers. I am thrilled to be back in a town that has a LOWES closer than 100 miles. The CUSTOMER SERVICE is excellent from GARY in APPLIANCES, to JOSH the Manager on Duty to KENT the Appliance Manager, KRISTIN & BRIDGETT at CUSTOMER SERVICE & MAGGIE who helped us get $100 off by getting me to Apply for a LOWES Credit Card. There was a mix-up with the original dryer & when I called back, KENT told me there was an $800 dryer now on sale for $599 which was what the original dryer cost & we could swap out even. It was delivered but the new dryer shot sparks & had to be returned. LOWES delivered another the next day which looks great, is larger than my original purchase & does not shoot sparks! I will receive a refund for the original dryer. They are busy because the prices are better & the selection far exceeds Home Depot & Best Buy but the EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE is also why we keep driving in to LOWES. EVERY STAFF MEMBER I have seen in the 4 times we have been in since we moved here recently has worn a mask. We're older so we wear masks even when other patrons do not. I do not know what the other person has seen but the store staff wears masks when we've been there. My husband is a recently retired medical professional so we do notice these things. It may take a while to get through on the phone but if you ask the Customer Service Desk to check product availability & explain the issue, a manager like JOSH or the Appliance Manager like KENT will take point & solve your problem. I am giving a review of the Prescott Lowe's Store delivery service of online purchases. On May 11 I ordered a stove and on May 13 I ordered a dishwasher. The stove was scheduled for delivery before I returned from an out-of-state trip. Under "special instructions" I asked to be called 24 hrs ahead to arrange for someone to be there. The dishwasher was scheduled for delivery on May 31 (after I returned). I called the 800 number and asked if they could deliver both appliances on May 31. They said yes and set it up. They also said that the Prescott store does not call ahead (insert unhappy emoji) but usually calls the same day to narrow down the delivery time to 2 hours. But sometimes just shows up. The 800 person warned me!! Here comes the reality: The day before delivery, I get a call asking if they should deliver it on the 30th "as scheduled"(wrong) or on the 31st due to a paperwork screw up?. I told them I preferred to keep the 31st which I had scheduled. The morning of the 31st, I get a call which reveals that my dishwasher will be delivered between 12 and 4 (4 hrs) They knew nothing about the stove. (I had just pulled out the old stove so I could scrub the area around it.) I called the store and they said it was scheduled to be delivered on June 4th. Nothing they could do. Beware that phone call promises are not honored at Lowes. If you have the misfortune of living near the Prescott Lowes, you have to put aside 8 hours for a delivery. Always order on the same day or put aside one day for each item to be delivered separately. read more

Place an order for delivery of anything- the day comes and nothing- then you find out online that the delivery has been put off for a week. No call, no text. Wow, this happened several times to me. Purchased refrigerator from store; it was delivered following day. Noticed loud humming noise, which was expected. But also noticed that sound diminished after my pushing one side in. Called store to request that someone come check if delivery men had failed to level the the fridge to floor. Called four times spoke to customer service each time and the couldn't reach anybody on floor or in delivery department to take a call. Each customer service person promised that someone would get back to me on each call that I had made. No one bothered to call back on any of the four days I tried to get help. read more

My experience with this store (#1157) is too long so I will try and condense it. Defective dishwasher that is now known to the public online was installed in my home. It leaked, out the front door, the 1st time turned on and I caught it. It has apparently caused major damage to many homes. Short story, I ordered a different one. They said they could not remove the defective one until the new order came in, so no credit for it at that time. Two months later I checked on the new order. The Assistant Manager, Amy Phillips, who ordered the new dishwasher, did not process the order correctly as told to me by the Operations Manager, Marge. In the meantime, the new dishwasher was discontinued. I asked for a refund for it and a refund for the defective one. Marge said she would put in a work order to have it removed and then credit my card back. Never happened. Just talked to Amy Phillips and she threatened to not refund my money. I have had a business here in Prescott for over 20 years. This has to be the worst customer service, or lack of, that I have experienced. Marge was professional and very accommodating. Amy Phillips was rude, condescending and unprofessional. Now, I have to seek counsel. read more

All appliance associates poorly trained. Lack of any real customer service. Bought four GE Profile appliances. Dishwasher was delivered without leveling legs. Long story sort: took a month to sort out and they refused to uninstall the faulty dishwasher that was being returned and/or install the replacement, even though the mistake was theirs. I went there this AM about 9:30 and waited in the Paint Dept for 17 mins before a customer service person 15' away from me asked me if I needed assistance??? Really?? I replied, yes, I do. 3 minutes later an older female associate showed up and asked if she could help me. I replied yes, I would like to order 2 ga of this and 1 ga of that, and I want Sherwin Williams. After a few minutes she came back and told me she could do 1 color in a different Mfr in a different sheen and the other color in another different sheen in SW. I asked myself, "why would I do that"? I can't type here what my answer was. I then asked the somewhat surly associate when I could get what I wanted. I got the shrugged shoulders with the hands held out with palms up. I then shook my head and walked out never to return to a Lowe's again. I thought Home Depot in Prescott was bad, but this store takes the cake!! One more try. I thought I'd order 3, 3' 1x1 dowels to pick up. That way I wouldn't have to suffer the experience of shopping there. I placed my order online 6 hrs ago and it's still processing. When I called to cancel the order, they really could care less. I can't wait for Amazon to sell building supplies. In the mean time, I will only shop at small hardware stores, or True Value. They actually care about their customers. I can only hope others get sick of being treated so poorly and stop shopping big box stores. Sadly, the owners made their money already. Absolute, worst customer service I've ever experienced. Completely ignored as a customer, when I asked if we can match a paint color, we were told there is "nothing I can do". I then proceeded to pull off a sample of paint from inside the can I brought in as A sample color. I asked again if I could match the color and now it will be "15-20minutes". Mind you, were we the only ones left standing in the department. We told him we will buy paint at home debot. Just got to home debot and my paint is almost done and we are getting ready to walk through the door. I will never give Lowe's my business again. We spent thousands remodeling our home and our contractor started by using this Lowe's. They lost orders, got orders wrong, forgot to order.....one excuse after another! We were ordering doors and decking and they NEVER got it right! They refuse to call you back or follow up. One moron argued with me until I put our contractor on the phone who promptly told him I was correct and was ordering it exactly as he had asked me to order! This is THE WORST store for installation projects ever. EVER. It has been one headache after another and we STILL (2 months later) don't have an installed door. And, unfortunately, I asked the door installer what the wait time is for installation is after our door is received (when he finally came out to measure) and he said a MONTH. Another freaking month, because they are that busy. Do not ever buy items you need installed from here. Thier process is ridiculous, their staff does NOT do their job right and even when telling you so and telling you "Oh, that's my/our bad, we didn't do 'xyz' on our end", that's it. There's no actual remorse and they actually get defensive when you're a tad upset/frustrated by all of their screw ups. It's now going to take us (likely) 3 months to get a single damn door installed. Oh, and we ordered it with a dog door and guess what wasn't included when they delivered it?! We went into the store and talked to them, the guy who has helped us numerous times was the one I spoke to again (and he has the gall to talk shit about his workplace/coworkers to customers when he can't even do his job right!) and all he could say was "oh, I see what happened. When we had to rebuild the order (which happened 4 separate times) we didn't put that part back in. Whether it was me or someone else, i apologize". I know he recognizes us, and I know he knew it was his fault by the look on his face when he said that. Then he got huffy with me when I expressed how ridiculous this process has been. Once this door is done, they wont be seeing us again. We have tile, floorong, bathroom remodels, landscape, irrigation, garden, etc to do as time goes on. They have essentially lost all of that business because they couldn't handle one door. read more

Overall the best store in Prescott. We don't even shop at HD any longer. We've dealt with different managers and staff over the past few years and they couldn't be more helpful. Lowe's gives a 10% military discount on any purchase and it has saved us so much money, especially since that is just about what the sales tax rate has become here! They have free delivery on pallets of pellets which is such a big help.Yes, it's true sometimes the wait to get help in the store (especially paint department) can be slow and frustrating, however this is not the fault of the employees. If possible we buy online and either pick it up or have free shipping. Lowes management you are appreciated! read more

Wow. So I get an email saying another part of my order is ready for pick up..... I still, six days later, have not heard about my tile so I figure I'll be able to ask in person. I arrive about 1:30pm. I knew from past experience that after giving my online order information it was going to be a while so I did my other shopping and returned, you guessed it, to find that they can't find the drain I got the email about and they have no idea where my tile is. Curbside delivery is a joke. You can't purchase any live plants online , so no curbside delivery. I called customer service no one is picking up the phone and when they did the would just hang up on you. All of my neighbors are looking for their flower baskets and low and behold you can't get them. Thank you Lowes, I bought a LG refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, and microwave at the memorial day sale, YES they were slammed ! what I saw as I patiently waited ( and im not the most patient person in the world, especially is someone is slacking ) Was excellent service, as fast as they could go ! Kent helped me the first time, and on a subsequent call, he was patient, I always have many questions ! I forgot to pay for a pick up, haul away so had to go back ( no way did they have time to answer a phone with many people waiting in the Isle ) Cathy helped me with that ! these people were efficient, also a young kid Doug had helped me the week before when I was looking measuring and deciding, another excellent employee ! they are understaffed ! Its hard to find employees NOW, so keep that in mind. I got really great prices on the sale and with their extra promotion for how much you spent ! My appliances were delivered on fri the 11th as expected. MY delivery: Now lows does not do their own delivery so I didnt know what to expect.....my delivery was done by Carlos, ( he also did the delivery's, working for lows originally. HE was great, and he is a great employee ! they lost someone that takes initiative ! when they let this young man go to the new company. He and his new helper first day on the job were careful, and helpful and put my worries to rest !! I needed them to move the frig out to the patio to install the new one, they did, they removed my door, to have room, they set up my frig and explained how my double door worked so i wouldnt possibly break it , took off all the packing stuff ..... the rest of my appliances were being installed by a contractor as i needed my gas line moved, but Carlos made sure to open them and bring in for inspection and put them were they were not in the way, Carlo's delivery team was top notch ! I love the Lg Frig ! the rest is not installed yet but i did buy the lowes warranty just in case because they will go to bat for you if there are problems. read more

Well, I have to admit I usually don't like to shop at big box stores, but being a visitor to the area I needed a part to fix a lamp. So off we went to Lowe's and greeted by one worker who asked us what we needed. He asked another person and then escorted us to where the parts were placed. The other person also came over to make sure we were able to find the part. So this is a big box store but the people there were very helpful. That A disaster! I went to Lowe's in Prescott! What A mess this store is. After spending 30 minutes trying to find help in the Tile department. A customer directed to the customer service desk. The entire store the grossly understaffed (one nice clerk told me they hire enough people, but half never show up). Finally after another 20 minutes, a "Manager" tried to help me. SO we go to the tile isle (He cannot fine any Slate tile), but at least I found a few tiles I liked for kitchen area. As I am looking at the tile I ask him to find some white with green accents, and, get this! He tells me he is colors blind and only "Goes off the color name" Which is of course is useless. I wanted sample of two different tiles and he has the balls to charge me after I waited 45 minutes for a color blind employee to help me. He seems a bit slow and bored with his job as did almost every employee. Lowes just lost a customer to wanted to buy A pellet stove Refrigerator Washer/dryer Tile flooring 2 ceiling fans Home depot in Prescott Valley has superb employees! When you shop the Big Box stores you can certainly see why and how Amazon is slowly putting the last nail in their coffins! Try to get help! It is almost impossible to find someone with 1/2 a brain. The greeter at the front door has no clue where to send you and makes a guess. The selection is not well organized and products are mixed so you have no clue what is what and especially the pricing. I go online and look at what I am interested in, go to the store try to find it, then touch it and make sure that is indeed what I want. Then return home and order it on Amazon, save money and time. Sad but true, these local stores will go down and it really is their own fault. read more

I don't know where to start.... Maybe the 2 GAS LEAKS that I had to leave my house to allow gas company to fix that the delivery people caused with my gas range.. IT WAS LEAKING FROM WALL AND BACK OF STOVE CONNECTIONS or THE ONLINE ORDER THEY REFUSED TO HONOR or THE DISHWASHER THEY SAID WAS ON BACK ORDER BUT WAS left sitting in box in my doorway by the delivery men. YET THEY SAID IT WASNT IN STOCK. It took 3 weeks to get it installed from the day it was delivered.. I ordered a washer and dryer online 7/1 and it was scheduled for delivery 7/12. I went to the store 7/11 to order a fridge, stove and dishwasher because we are remodeling. When I told the sales rep I had a delivery the following morning she told me no I did not. She went on to tell me I should never have ordered online they are not Amazon. She proceeded to tell me that in store customers came first and that she had sold 2 of the sets that day and that I would be receiving my call for delivery but that Noone would show. I asked her how they could not have my items I ordered 11 days ago when she had them for these in store customers today. She said it was my fault I ordered online because again they aren't Amazon. She said I needed to pick something else but they only had a few models. So not wanting to cause issues I agreed. I regret it so much the washer and dryer I have are so noisy and the dryer is constantly telling me the lint trap is full. I have even cleaned the dryer ducts etc and it persists. So my husband went in to the store spoke with her again and asked to get our original order and have the price be honored for the washer and dryer and to pick the junk she sold me up (in nice terms). She agreed to and said she ordered those specific ones with pedastools. The delivery guys showed up this a.m. with 1 pedastool that was open and missing the hardware AND the WRONG washer and dryer. She had ordered the cheaper version without steam for the normal price and told us she ordered the right ones and honored the price.I called for a 4th time and have been told they would call me back...weeks now I have been dealing with this. My dishwasher was delivered with the other appliances and they kept rescheduling the install without notifying me saying it was on back order I only found out when I called because THEY DID NOT SHOW OR CALL AGAIN. . I kept telling them I had it. BUT the installer showed up with another dishwasher...even after I spoke with 4 people telling them it was in my home. If I wasn't honest I could have gotten a free dishwasher. But even that would not make up for all of the issues I have had. I was going to get floors and new doors here but never again will I order anything from Lowes. Noone will take initiative and managers do not call back when they say they will. Installers didn't even unwrap the appliances or set them up I had to do it all and throw out all the trash myself. Today when they came with the wrong washer and dryer they put the manuals in the old one but since they did not take them I ended up with manual all over my clothes because did not see them inside. Nightmare. Noone takes ownership and customers do not come first here. I have always preferred Lowes but I can only be pushed so far. read more
