This place has a unique ambiance and rustic elegance not often found in such a remote area. When we entered the outdoor dining area we were immediately introduced to Duke the dog who had his own reclining lawn chair. Unfortunately he was licking his privates like an all-day sucker, how progressive. Then we sat down and noticed everything was filthy, including most of the staff and customers. There was also a young barefoot boy who was making fart noises with his mouth throughout the dining area and even barked at a customer. There was also a barefoot woman who was taking a cigarette break in the outside dining area who had some of the dirtiest feet we've ever seen in the developed world. We later discovered she was the pizza cook... We recognize the remote area doesn't provide many dining choices, but we strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place unless you want to step back in time and experience backwoods banjos and a dirty worn out hippie nightmare. This is a great option for a family friendly bar near all the hot springs in Lowman. Excellent wings and pizza. They have a pool table, corn hole, horse shoes, and outdoor seating that is covered. We came to hear a band we follow and liked it so much went back the next day. The owners are very friendly and hands on so you get the personal touch that so many places are missing these days. If your looking for a bar that you can get a beer and pizza with the kids this place is it. Open 7 days a week 12-9. Call ahead to confirm as they are talking about opening for breakfast too. We came for the first time tonight. It was a great deal of fun. We had chicken wings and they were absolutely amazing. The decor is lots of hunting things. One pool table and a great deal of very friendly people. The owner and his wife do a great job tending bar and cooking. Highly recommend read more

Our family has a place in Garden Valley and the Lowman Inn is a must stop for dinner every trip out. Really cool place with great beers and food selection. Pizzas are fantastic!! Family run business with owners who work hard make sure you have a great time. The also book awesome musicians on the weekends. Stop in, you'll be glad that you did. read more

There are not enough good reviews! I feel like it's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. We're definitely coming back. My friend and I stayed in a brand new yurt at Lowman Inn for a short getaway to the area hot springs. The king bed was sooo warm @ comfy. The linens and space were clean. We noshed on both a supreme pizza and breakfast pizza from the restaurant at the Inn .. each very yummy! The red sauce and crust are especially d-lish! I was happy to see local beers on tap .. I enjoyed a Shiver IPA from Salmon River. I noticed beers from Payette Brewing and Wallace Brewing on draft too .. and several domestic offerings. Special thanks to owners Kevin and Darcy! They were so helpful and welcoming! Great conversation too. I look forward to many returns. read more

Spent the weekend here in one of the yurts. Expected just a weekend getaway just me and my girlfriend, but it turned out into so much more. The atmosphere Kevin and Darcy have created is so inviting and makes you feel like family. The first night was spent around the fire with others staying there as well as Kevin and Darcy, and we all spent the night talking like we were all old friends. The second night was full of the same. This place is a hidden gem. Fantastic local bar in off-season, it transforms into a magical hot spot during the summer. Saturday nights are not to be missed. This is easily the best bar to spend time in Boise county. The patio and bands make this a must see when visiting the region. The pizza, wings and finger steaks are the best in an 60 mile radius. Sad to say. This little place is not the place to stop. Beautiful that it is in the mountains. But after you walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke at the front door you go into a dark and fairly dirty bar. They have a cat that jumps on the bar and is roaming around. Multiple dogs that go in and out. I like animals. Just not jumping up on the bar next to my open beer or eating out of the bag of food behind the bar. Cold beer, but the place just has an unclean feel about it if you are asking for anything more than an unopened can of beer. I see they will have food at sometime down the line. Hopefully, they clean up the place first. read more
