Emma was very helpful to quickly schedule me lessons. Lessons with Mich was great. I felt i had issues in certain areas and my lessons were tailored to help me learn how to do them correctly. I wanted lessons because I needed more driving practice but I cannot learn from instructor Aleks because I need more guidance and teaching. He only asked me to go, stop, turn left and turn right. That's it. He was also quite impatient when I could not figure out what certain buttons/levers in the car did - I was not familiar with cars so of course I wouldn't be able able figure it out right away. I did not feel comfortable driving with him. I was nervous enough as it is and hearing him talk loudly on the phone and getting impatient did not help at all. At 22 years old, I thought I would never get my license. I had no prior experience being behind the wheel at all and was afraid I'd never drive. I discovered Loyalty Driving School in my neighborhood in mid-September 2016. I noticed they had a good deal on lesson packages (that also included the fee for the road test and the car to use as well.) I immediately signed up for their 5-hour course pre-licensing course offered on Saturdays after getting my permit, which Ricky taught. It was very informative and fun. I then opted for the 15-lesson package and wound up adding 5 more to that. Emma, the receptionist, was always friendly and scheduled my road test appointment for me when I was ready. Within 2-3 months, I obtained my driver's license on my first try. Simon was a wonderful, friendly instructor that taught me the proper way to drive and was very encouraging. I called Loyalty Driving School and asked how much the defensive driving course was. The lady told me it was $60.00. I said I only paid $40.00 at another place I went and her response was "so go back there". I will. Very nasty attitude and could not care less. Go to the one at 8302 5th. First of all I can say... That loyalty driving school is a great place to learn what the DMV examination require to get a license.. I don't know why there is a review making a big deal out of nothing.. Is true that sometimes the instructor take the wheel while you driving in a way to make you better, not because they want you to feel bad.. They are very responds bike with your and their time. They have a lot and really a lot of patience with the students.. For example I can call the school any time how many times I want it and Emma is always there to answer your questions with a really nice attitude..! Prices are very convenient and I was with a group of six the day that we had to make the 5 hour class and guess what..! Everybody was happy and at the end we agreed that we had a new idea of safety..! Thanks LOYALTY DRIVING SCHOOL I got my license today.! Very engaging and informative five hour initial (mandatory) lecture course. The driving lessons are carried by a seasonal instructor Simon; who provides tough-love, but very helpful instructions and tips for the road rules. I don't even know where to begin with my horrible experience. I took the 5 hour class before I started my lessons with the hopes that I could learn something to better prepare myself to start driving but boy was I wrong. They breezed past much of the material that is supposed to be covered opting to show boring old vhs videos, yes they were that old, rather than actually talk to us for at least half of the time. Then, after 2 hours they decided that they didn't really want to be there and that we don't want to be there either so they ended the class. Furthermore, they said that we were supposed to take a test at the end so that we may graduate and get our certificates but everybody passed (without ever seeing a test at all). While some people might appreciate getting in and out, if you are hoping to learn anything at all then this is not the place. Then came the lessons with my instructor, Alex. If you expect your instructor to be punctual then he is not the man for you. He was regularly 10-15 minutes late, often times calling (15 minutes after my scheduled lessons) to reschedule for a later time in the day. He had minimal patience with me, often getting visibly irritated when I would do something wrong. I don't know about you guys but I had zero experience driving, hence why I was going to a driving school, I don't know what he expected from me other than to be less than perfect with my skills. Furthermore, he would grab the wheel from me or use the passenger brake to correct my errors at least a handful of times every lesson. While I completely understand that this is necessary if I would have unintentionally caused an accident, this was the case less than half of the time. When this would happen he would never explain to me what I did wrong or how I could have prevented this from happening in the first place. When it came to k-turns and parallel parking he just said do it without me knowing what to do. He would just tell me when to accelerate and he would use his brake and grab the wheel from me and essentially do it all himself. While I did pass my road test, I just barely did. When I went to parallel park I was close to the curb and about to hit a garbage can. The person administering the test would not let me start, she wanted to see my maneuvering skills in avoiding the garbage can. Unfortunately, the only thing that I could think is that when I've experienced situations like this before Alex would simply take the wheel from me and maneuver the car himself without explaining to me what I need to look for and do. I had to beg the administrator to let me begin again and she begrudgingly allowed me to do it in another spot when she realized that I would certainly fail if she didn't allow me to. I would dread the days that I would have lessons with Alex and dread getting behind the wheel. I honestly should not have passed that road test, and the administrator thought so as well but I technically passed enough of the requirements that she had no choice to pass me. I know that I am not a natural behind the wheel but Alex did not teach me how to be a good driver, he did not teach me the skills that I need to be OK behind the wheel without an experienced driver in the passenger seat walking me through everything. I know that sheer luck allowed me to pass the road test and I know that I am an accident waiting to happen which is why I have zero intentions of getting behind a wheel without taking additional lessons with another driving school. I came to Loyalty Driving School hoping to learn and get my license. While I did ultimately get my license, they just ensured that yet another unsafe incompetent driver is able to legally get onto the road (thankfully I have zero interest in being in an accident so I don't plan on actually being on the road.) Even better, he asked me to remember him when he dropped me off after my road test. Oh, I am sure that I will remember him as the worst instructor ever. read more

Fantastic! Emma was extremely nice and accommodating to my schedule. She helped me find the best time for my driving test. My instructor, Simon, is one of the best. I learned everything I needed for the driving test within a month and a half. On the day of the test, the weather was terrible. Horrible teachers and horrible rude receptionist who makes the appointments. She kept telling me to call her back as she pretended to get in touch with other drivers. She never called me back and when I did call again she said do me a favor and go to a different driving school! She is also a scammer and tries to overcharge even though there is a set price. This Russian receptionist is really bad for the business and I hope this place goes out of business. The driver also tries to cheat you and finished the lesson early and just waited out the hour in a parking spot. After the lesson, I drove worse. DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL NOT DO WELL ON YOUR EXAM! read more

The car is new and easy to handle. The instructor will tech you an easy way to park, which results in perfect parking every time. Loyalty driving is a great driving school. The instructor not only takes time to prepare you for the test but more importantly makes sure that you learn how to be a good driver. This is especially important to me having a family with a two year old son. The instructor had great patience with me and allowed me to learn at my own pace which made me feel comfortable learning. I was free to ask any questions that I had no matter how silly they may have seemed. If there was something that I was not comfortable with while learning, the instructor would allow me to practice until I progressed. The instructor would monitor my progress and let me know how I was doing and informed me when he observed that I was ready to take the road test. I felt that he was very honest about his observations and the concern and intention was always to produce a good driver. I was scheduled for the road test, which I was nervous for (I am generally not a nervous person but I guess when you add the word test to the equation it sometimes has that effect). At the age of 29, I passed the driving test on the first try which I know was a combination of patience and understanding my driving skill level and where I needed /wanted to be, my instructor's training and patience in getting me to that point and God's good grace. I would also like to note that my house is about a 10 to 12 minute walk from the driving school. The instructor picked me up from my house and dropped me back home from my lessons and was always on time for our appointments. If I had an emergency that came up and I was unable to make the lesson, I was able to call the night before and was not charged for the late notice. The instructor and the school was always very accommodating to me and my schedule. I plan to go back for a defensive driving course as well as some lessons in highway driving.
