We have had Larry and Josh do many jobs around our home- painting, gutter replacement, and other remodeling services. I have used them for the past 10 years at least. I have found that they are very good communicators, let us know when they would be here and what they would be doing. Their work was done promptly and very professionally. I have referred several friends and all have liked LS Custom Painting and Carpentry. On top of doing excellent work, they are also just a lot of fun to have around the house. We were fortunate as they had outside work cancelled due to weather so were able to start our painting immediately. I rarely write reviews but the experience we had was so awful that I felt the need to warn anyone else. In the beginning, Larry seemed quite knowledgeable, helpful, and available. As the job began, not so much. Communication was awful, Larry was rarely there, and instead the work done was mediocre and slow moving. I am fair with how long things take or that things in construction come up, but the issues kept coming. To name a few, not only were mirrors in our bathroom hung twice wrong (like no where close to the middle), or grout missing in numerous parts of the tile, or knobs on the vanity drilled to the side rather than the middle, they did our floors and the cuts on the wood were uneven, and the trim took 5 extra weeks to be completed. Furthermore, they made executive decisions leaving our house in shambles at times and without our permission drilling holes in walls, leaving sharp equipment around, and sharp nails jutting out of the flooring. They broke a curtain rod, ceramic bowl, and left our other bathroom (which we hired them to do and then realized what a disaster job they did), with a huge plastered hole in it. I would not expect quality work or quality communication from either Larry or Josh and on top of that, when questioned, they were horrible to both my wife and myself....BEWARE! read more

They seem like nice guys but TERRIBLE at communication. After trying to get a hold of them for 3 months, I gave up and insisted my Groupon be refunded. It's been a HUGE amount of stress for no reason and I'm super disappointed. Oh well. Will paint that room on my own. Because of communication issues, I would not recommend. I do wonder if maybe they are super busy and that's why they very rarely ever call or text back. read more
