We stayed a while and noticed sometimes it's gets full then it clears out, then gers full again. Parking- shared lot with other businesses. Service- easy, order at the counter. Came here with my crawfish eating besties to get our fix in before the season was over. As one of the higher rated crawfish spots in Houston, I was excited to check it out. Because of it's popularity and competitive pricing, this place had a steady stream of people coming in and out. It is a stand alone business in a busy shopping complex so parking can be challenging. This place could be classified as a hole in the wall which isn't a bad thing, but just painting a picture. When you walk in, there's a lobby area that is basically used just to order food and get your drinks and condiments. There's also a hand washing station. Then you have an inside seating area with a bunch of tables packed tight next to each other as well as a patio area outside. Restaurant cleanliness was just ok. We had to clean our own table and staff did their best to clean up after people got up to leave. They do have paper towels readily available. Customer service was ok. The menu is pretty simple here. They have boiled seafood like crawfish, snow crab, Dungeness crab and mussels. You have two flavors to choose from which are Cajun or Cajun garlic butter. You can pick a spice level as well. They also have fried items like catfish, shrimp, and minimal appetizers. If you feel like fried rice, they got that too. That particular day, I wasn't in the peeling mood so I went with the fried shrimp basket. This was a generous portion of fried shrimp and fries which really hit the spot. I liked the corn meal breading on it that was seasoned and gave it just the right amount of crunch. The fries could have been seasoned better, but it was still good. Though I didn't want to peel, my amazing friend peeled one for me and it was delicious. I had instant regrets not getting my own order. You know it's a good boil when you don't really need anything to dip it in and the flavors are just there throughout the crawfish. Overall, a good experience was had. If I am in the mood for some good ole fashion Cajun boil, this will be on my repeat list. read more

Another place on this list that we needed to mark off! Came here on a Saturday and the place was poppin! Including the parking lot, so try to come at some downtimes! I will say, I see why it's poppin though. We came in and placed our order, we got 4 lbs of crawfish, a corn and a sausage. My friend went with the fried shrimp basket, and I'm glad he did, bc I wanted some fries. Our order came out pretty quickly which I liked, but when we went to find seating, a lot of the tables were dirty, so we had to clean the tables ourselves, which is a little disappointing, but we made it work. We poured out the crawfish and they were piping hot. The seasonings and flavor that they had was amazing, and the extra juice that was in the bag, we wanted to slurp down like a soup!! That sauce in some pasta would slap. We got garlic and cajun, and it was quite tasty. Went with the medium spice level, which was perfect, so I could still taste the crawfish, and breathe at the same time! The sausage was pretty tasty as well, and the corn definitely had a little extra kick, in a good way! Got to try one of the fried shrimp, and I like the batter that it was fried in, flavored nicely, and the fries were really good too. I can see why a lot of folks like the crawfish here, I did want to get some more, but what we got was just enough. Food I would give 5 out of 5, but the restaurant and cleaning is the 4 out of 5. It would be good to have someone round on cleaning tables every 10-15 minutes, with how busy they get, because a lot of people did the same as us, looking for tables, and they'd be dirty. Had lunch with friends and chose this hold in the wall place. It's byob so bring your drinks because their choice is not the best and they run out fast. We choose egg rolls, crawfish, sausage, pig feet, potatoes, corn, and turkey necks all extremely delicious. It was worth the drive. We wanted rice but when they run out that's all for the day so get there early or you will miss out. read more

They are known for having some of the cheapest prices in the Houston area. They are located in Cypress and every time I have visited it always had a line and is very busy. Lots of people and yelpers said it is their go to for crawfish and other seafood. I am not much of a crawfish person, but my wife does like them so usually I am going to pick up for her. She always enjoyed them. I have tried some of their other seafood dishes and I have not been disappointed. If you are going to check them out, please allow time to wait because you will. The crawfish was really good, seriously the best. The service was decent. However, the only reason I took off a star is because their soda machine was DISGUSTING. The entire area by soda and butter was insanely nasty, I almost lost my appetite. I get it that you're popular and busy, but please clean up. So many people have recommended this restaurant so I had to try it and I can now say I understand the hype! I came on a Sunday around 1:30PM and the line wasn't too long but within 30 minutes it started to grow outside the door so I would say GET THERE EARLY! It's a very casual restaurant where you order your food at the front and they give you a number. You seat yourself and seating is first come first served. They have a patio so you can also dine out there as well. For the flavors, you can choose between Louisiana style or the garlic butter style. I had both and they were both really good. Very well seasoned, a very good size and very reasonably priced (it was $8.99/lb when I went). I tried the boiled shrimp and it wasn't bad but nothing to rave about. I also wasn't a fan of the sausage that I tried. I ordered a plate of fried rice which is a little pricey but a very large portion (can easily feed like 4-5 people). It was also very good! Lastly they are byob so you can bring in your own drinks. I saw they had a fountain drink machine inside but I'm not sure if they actually sell drinks or if it just wasn't working. 3 stars but that's only because I got the wrong flavor. i tried the cajun garlic butter seasoning for the crawfish, not a fan. I also asked for spicy and I'm 100% sure they gave me mild. I'll stick to cajun. I had them last crawfish season and it was sooooo good with a nice kick. I'll have to try again next season! Those turkey necks though? You need some privacy with those! I've been coming to LTK for year. I don't eat crawfish much but my husband does and he loves it! Last night we got 3 pounds of crawfish and 2 pounds of shrimp with three seasoned boiled eggs. It was about $62. Their crawfish right now is $8.49 per pound and the shrimp is $12.99 per pound. The eggs were five dollars for three. The boiled shrimp is always deveined, which I love, and you can tell that they clean their crawfish well. We got the Cajun garlic butter, (spicy) on all of it, and it is always seasoned to perfection!! The service is always great, super fast. Last night the line was out of the door, but once you ordered, you were out within about 15 minutes. Ambience is pretty chill. It's got a diner feel to it, but it is pretty clean. They offer free hot butter, lemon, and seasoning on the side. Will definitely be back. read more

Let's start with the good: employees were friendly, food came out reasonably quick, and the food itself was delicious. Great spice level and they certainly don't skimp on garlic in their garlic butter. Variable sizes of crawfish in the bag, no shortage of big boys though. Everything was fresh and cooked well. As for the bad: it is absolutely filthy. From the moment you reach the door it looks like it's almost never been cleaned. Then you get in and realize that all the windows are the same. Then you sit down and realize there's about as much food in the slats of the bench seats and on the floor as you have coming out to you on a plate. I spent my time there just hoping their standards for kitchen cleanliness aren't reflected by the state of their lobby. My visit was at 5 on a Monday and there were only a couple other tables so they weren't exactly slammed. I considered taking my food to the outdoor seating area, but there's not a speck of shade out there. It's really a bummer because the food is pretty much everything I look for in a crawfish spot but the absolute state of the place makes me not want to go back. read more

Finger licking good!!! I have been in the Cypress area for 2 years and this is the only place we go for crawfish. I am originally from Mississippi and frequent Louisiana very often so Cajun food is one of my specialties. If you're not there when the doors open, be ready to stand in line. Yes, it's that good and yes, it's worth the line. I have never had a bad experience with customer service either. As a note, they are only open during crawfish season. You have to order a minimum of 2 pounds of crawfish but there isn't a limit on how many pounds you can order. Once they run out of crawfish for the day, it's gone. You have to order other items from the menu. My go to is crawfish, turkey necks, potatoes, edamame and shrimp (that's almost the whole menu...Lol). I do the garlic sauce for it all. I vary the spice level between regular and spicy depending on my taste for the that day. If you like spicy, get spicy all the time. This is a very casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Because of the sauce and how good it is (and if you get busy like me) use your bibs and wear a shirt you don't mind accidentally getting "saucey." Enjoy! read more

Omg I had the BEST crawfish experience here. I have always had a strong three (3) location staple : Mikes Seafood on Hwy 6, Crawfish Cafe on Bellaire-Alief, and Bayou City Crawfish Kings on S.Post Oak until last week. I stopped in after work and the lobby was PACKED to the entrance door and the dining space was filling with hungry diners. Just my type of place! After I made my way through the line I immediately excited myself by ordering 3lbs of crawfish, an order of boiled pig feet ( no judging ) , and turkey necks. I rushed home in 5 o'clock traffic on a Friday night just to get home and enjoy my seafood. Folks ... it was everything , everyone had ALWAYS said. Spicy and Delicious !!!! Bet ... LTK is such a gem. I ordered yesterday and got 3 pounds of baby lobster sized crawfish for $7.99/lb, a side of sausage and potatoes slathered in Cajun garlic butter. When the Bay Leaf makes it in the bag, you know you're getting something good. When you first walk in to LTK, parking is hit or miss. The line was a weird curve which they were moving pretty fast on getting orders in. Ordered 4lbs of crawfish, Spicy Garlic Cajun Butter with order of potatoes. My meal came out to be$ 26.11 which was out in about 10 minutes if that's the restaurant offers gloves, tray for discards, butter, Cajun seasoning, lemons, sriracha , and fountain drinks. Open the bag, and there was huge crawfishes in the bag. They were a nice size! Flavor was 8.5/10. Only thing I don't like about LTK, is the egg situation and shrimp by the .5lb versus lb. Would recommend always if you need a little satisfaction to your crawfish crave. BYOB as well! Ambiance is chill, cool place. read more

I gave the old college try; I really did. I've gone twice and let me tell you, DISAPPOINTING! Now, I can only speak to the boiled seafood, specifically crawfish, crab legs, and shrimp. Why are y'all lying about this place? It's expensive and isn't more seasoned than places like BB's, Bluewater, and the other plethora of water-flavored seafood spots. Where's the salt? The pepper? The garlic? The lemon? Just for an example, I ordered both flavors and the "Cajun" came in near clear water. I even asked were they sure this was Cajun; they were sure and told me I could season it myself! H-E-B has MUCH better seafood and those are usually 16-year-old stockers boiling there. Eating here for the first time in 2 years made me come back for dinner too. The crawfish is excellent. I definitely want to suggest coming during the rush during lunch or dinner. It's ridiculously crowded which is no good if you're trying to avoid getting Covid but it's really good if you want hot crawfish. Also just a PSA. I did not know this prior to today, but do not eat the yellow delicious substance inside the crawfish's head. It holds ocean metals.
