Came here on a day trip to Willmar and just adored it! Such a charming coffee shop with so many different rooms to explore. I loved the atmosphere and how much thought they put into decorating all the different seating areas. To eat/drink, I had a cinnamon roll and a matcha latte with oat milk. The cinnamon roll was so sweet and buttery, and the matcha is one of the best I've had. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone going to Willmar or passing through.

I had a beef panini and it was SO good! So so yum! I have to get another one. And the salad with the homemade croutons? ::chef's kiss:: It is just so good!! And I also got the carmello. Lulu Beans just take all my money...now! Everything is so good! I love this place! Oh and the service. When I go in, I feel like Im being served by dear friends. Its such a wonderful feeling.

VANILLA CHAI OAT MILK LATTE!!! omgg + cozy vibes inside and the sweetest people!!! I understand all the hype. Their CLT is also so good, served from 11-2pm.

I left a great review two years ago but quality and service have been falling ever since. Pastries and brew are good. Rude-ish staff and ice cold oatmeal that was supposed to be hot. Meh. It is successful because it's the only place like it in town.

Cutest little place. Friendliest staff. I ordered as hot chocolate, a special K bar, and my friends got a vanilla latte. The bar was sure sweet and pretty buttery. I could totally hang out here on the daily and read a book. Late was made to perfection!

Cozy and quirky atmosphere, lots of menu options!

Come for the cozy ambiance and friendly service, but not so much for the coffee. They have a few varieties of flavored drip coffee, and none of them are spectacular. There is a wide variety of other drinks to choose from (smoothies, tea, hot chocolate, etc.) and a good selection of baked goods. They even have some gluten free treats--they had a GF cookie and a GF cheesecake option when I was there, but I didn't get to try them so can't speak to their quality. I had a dragon pearl jasmine tea that was lovely, though brewed a tad too hot so it was a little bitter. If I ordered it again I would ask them to add an ice cube before steeping. As far as the setup--there are tons of cozy nooks and crannies to settle in and enjoy your drinks while catching up with friends. Comfy couches, tables to set up your laptop, and nice outdoor space for when the weather is nice.

Coffee, food, and trinkets are all really cool slightly overpriced but that's fine by me since it supports the local economy. The location is really nice but it can get crowded sometimes. Really a cool spot worth checking out. read more

Place to hang out 4-5 stars. Coffee 3 stars. Cold beverages are simply Big Train 2 stars. If you want a "cozy" place to hang out for an hour with some friends, this is the coffee shop. If you want the best coffee/espresso for your buck, head south, maybe to DB. read more

The best place to get coffee in the area. Go through the drive through, or grab something and enjoy it inside. The atmosphere is great. Local art on the walls. A great place to get creative, hang with friends or read a book. read more

Visited a friend that lives in Willmar, and she brought us to Lulu beans, and I instantly fell in love with this place. Tons of bakery items, friendly staff, warm, cozy atmosphere, and lots of yummy drink options. We spend 4 hours chillin the first day, and came back for 4 more hours the next day. I love that Lu Lu Beans has different rooms, and lots of cozy chairs and couches. Favorite coffee shop I've ever been to. read more

A great little coffee shop! We stopped in for lunch and my husband had a beef panini and I had the chicken caesar wrap- both delicious! My husband loved his iced tea, which had a very good flavor. I hoped for fountain sodas, but they only had bottles. Very cozy and interesting atmosphere; eclectic mix of seating and decor which gives you lots to look at. Before we left, we had to get a sweet treat, as they all look so yummy! It was difficult to choose, but we chose a chocolate oatmeal bar and a caramel one too. Delicious! read more

My family and I visited here while visiting family in Willmar. I was excited to find that they serve the same Matador Espresso I'm used to from UP Roasters in Minneapolis. My Cafe Miel tasted just like home. I love the homey feel and all the different rooms to choose from to enjoy your drink. I will definitely return when I'm back in the area. read more

Great ambience, great chai tea, and all around fun place. Assortment of scarves is to check out, and you can go here many times before you would sit in the same room twice. Was meeting a friend here, both of us are out of towers, and she thoroughly enjoyed LuLu's as well! read more

I have to admit, I have been a fan of LuLu Beans since it opened, even though it changed hands, it has been a success in different ways! The food is good, the tea is great! I am not much of a coffee drinker, so not sure about that...try their smoothies (the VERY best in town) and perhaps outdoor seating if it is summer; if it is winter, be sure to get a Panini and soup to experience the very best this place has to offer. I love the chips they carry and the fresh baked treats! Also, the decor is fabulously entertaining, not to mention the first place you should stop to do Chirstmas or birthday shopping!! :D read more

In from Canada on business and stopped in at this place because it's one of two I saw on Yelp. Very impressed! It's a large house turned into a coffee shop with some light food. Very unique and fascinating with many different rooms to check out and they kept the home away from home feel. Definitely worth checking out read more

Lulu Beans staff have ALWAYS treated me with respect and patience and answered questions that I've had regarding their big menu. The building is so cute and they have decent seating available inside and out. It gets to be pretty busy. The only concern I have is the parking lot. I wish it was bigger or have better parking. The drive-thru line makes it difficult to park sometimes. They have wonderful baked goods, paninis, drinks of all kinds, and cold sandwiches/desserts/wraps/salads in the cooler for reasonable prices! There are many trinkets and pieces of art, post cards/greeting cards, home decor, towels, books, clothing, and jewelry to purchase as well. I love Lulu Beans, and I come at *least* once every two weeks. Whenever anybody asks me about nice spots here in Willmar, I always recommend Lulu Beans. read more

When I woke up this morning, I had no idea I was about to consume the caramel roll that would change my life forever. The decadent caramel slowly oozed off my fork as I shamelessly sliced it. The cinnamon was warm and perfectly balanced--not overpowering, just enough to make me question every other caramel roll I've ever eaten. The sweetness was so perfectly dialed in that even Goldilocks would've looked up from her porridge and said, "Yeah... that's the one." I don't know what kind of sorcery is happening in this bakery, but these caramel rolls deserve their own fan club. Do yourself a favor and go get one. They're worth every penny... and quite possibly a small identity crisis when you realize no other caramel roll will ever compare. read more

Awesome place to hang out, grab some coffee, grab a light bite to eat. Love the atmosphere. Relaxed and comfortable. Used to be frequented by hipster high-schoolers which was kind of annoying.
