Had a great Saturday morning at Lubbies. We got there around 9am- it wasn't too crowded but they did have tons of to-go orders but overall we didn't have to wait too long. The bagels itself were really good! I got the breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage on blueberry bagel and my friend got the mishigas and she enjoyed it. I also ordered a vanilla iced latte and it was tasty. The staff were all super nice and helpful. Will definitely be back :) !

This is a cute little bagel shop in the location where a seafood restaurant, 20 feet under, existed for many years before closing due to the COVID pandemic. It is hard to miss so you almost need to looking for it, which is why I did not notice it until now. It is next to Goodfriend Beer Garden. It shares a parking lot with the Beer Garden which means that it has the same parking shortages. I stopped here for some bagels to go. I ordered two onion bagels and the price was $6.50. That is a bit high and much more than Shugs. But Lubbies is closer to my house so it is convenient. The bagel was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. In other words, it was a good bagel. Was it the best I ever had? No, that is reserved for NYC. But it was a good bagel and I enjoyed it. The store offers about a dozen different types of bagels and I saw about 4 spreads, although I was not looking closely so there may be more. There is some inside and outside seating. The inside is cute and homey. The restaurant also offers a variety of bagel sandwiches but I did not try any of those, maybe in the future.

I stopped in recently for a coffee and a bagel and it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and informative. The coffee was delicious (iced mocha) and the bagel was tasty. They have a great selection of bagels and they also have a full menu of sandwiches to try. We will definitely be back.

My first time at this place was really good. We ordered to go on a Saturday morning, so of course it was a bit busy and had to wait a while for our order. There is quite a lot of seating inside and out, which was good. The bagel sandwiches were delicious and the matcha was good too. It's a solid bagel sandwich place, but I did notice that it is a bit pricey than other bagel places. I would go again but it's not my go to bagel spot.

Cute bagel shop nestled in Lakewood near White Rock Lake! The decor and ambiance is bright and airy. Lubbies offers cold/hot deli type sandwiches, bagels, and array of schmears, coffee and other things. I opted for a sesame bagel lightly toasted (which came with bagel and white seeds) with the scallion scream cheese. My bagel tasted fermented in a good way as though these were sourdough based bagels. Not sure how true that might be. The scallion cream cheese is not as strong as I''m accustomed to. The bagel itself was light and darker in color. Would I come again, yes! Bagel and cream cost be $5 and change for those interested in costs.

I stopped in around 9:30 on a Saturday - there were a couple of people in line ahead of me, but I was able to place and get my order within 15 mins (including a specialty sandwich). I got the chicken caprese sandwich on pumpernickel and the cherry chocolate bagel w/ a plain schmear - both were AMAZING! The chew on the pumpernickel was perfect, the tomato jam is out of this world, and the entire sandwich is wonderfully balanced. This shop did an amazing job with a sweet bagel since I find some other shops' attempts at a chocolate chip bagel are very dry, but this one was great and the addition of pieces of cherry was... well, the cherry on top :) The shop is very cute and has some seating options, but the joint was jumping and some people found other seating nearby. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be back!

Cute ambiance and friendly staff and the food was pretty good. My husband did not like his vanilla latte and my chai latte was very pretty but a bit underwhelming as it was served lukewarm. My Chicken Caprese sandwich that I got on a Parmesan bagel was pretty good. The bagel itself was delicious but the tomato jam and pesto made the entire sandwich super soggy but the flavor was still really good. My husband got the Lub Handles sandwich and he said it was just alright. He asked for no pickles and they still put them on so he had to pick them off. Probably won't be back and would rather spend our money elsewhere.

It is worth the visit if you're debating between Lubbie or Panera. Give it a shot! The bagel didn't hit the spot. The ambiance is so cute and worth a photo, but I'd still drive 25 minutes to my favorite spot instead of stopping at Lubbies again.

In and out in under 20min for a to-go order. We got the salmon and lox on sun-dried tomato. All we needed was a drop of the Zab's sauce. Kapow! Lots of delicious side options. Easy to access menus + neat seasonal suggestions. I enjoyed the unique flavored Kombucha options by alive & well. No room for dessert. I will be back to try the ruggelach. Ambiance-wise, the place is tight knit; so good for a one-on-one. Complimentary parking available in strip mall. Enjoy!

really cute bagel shop over in casa linda area. good chewy bagels with a nice shiny exterior. I got the bagel with lox, and they smoke their salmon in house, delicious. good portions for the price point. the only complaint is that there is not a lot of seating inside or out, and the parking lot is a hazard, but that's mostly just due to bad drivers!

Such a cute Bagel Shop! The inside decor is very inviting with cute velvet chairs and floral wallpaper. I got the Salmon Lox Sandwich on the Gluten Free Everything Bagel with Vegan Cream Cheese and it was so good! I will definitely be back!

I was delighted by every bite, so much so, that my coworker and I ran back before they closed so she could order the same thing. I'm not from the Dallas area, so I ordered 10 bagels to go and the owner graciously threw in more bagels for me to try and share with my coworker. Thank you so much to the Starship bagel team. Excellent customer service! I can't wait to come back to Dallas just to be reunited with these bagels. Reposting my review that I also just made on Google…read more I'll be honest, I was shocked to see as many 1--3 star reviews for this place. I get it - it's a little pricy outside of waiting for the $1 bagels between 12pm-1pm - but holy schikies the quality is amazing. The bagels themselves - all 10/10. The schmears are insanely good - the basil schmear literally blew my mind. I didn't know a schmear could taste that refreshing. The cucumber sandwich - incredible - never would have thought bagel, with cream cheese and cucumber could be THAT good. Sure - it's a bit pricy pre-12pm (but what placing selling real food with real ingredients isn't these days!) spent $40 on a sandwich, bagel with butter and bagel with the fermented jalapeno schmear - but sorry not sorry - still worth it. All these cry babies in these lower reviews complaining about how the bagel they wanted was no available - it's because they are that good. Sorry - you snooze you lose. Get up earlier, preorder if you want it that bad. To the owners of Starship Bagel - hope you guys never sell out (well keep selling our of product so you stay in business yes) but you know not sell out to big mega food corps, and keep doing what you're doing. People need more food establishments making food out of actual real ingredients - not the slop bucket artificial BS that 99% of any other chain bagel shop is going to use. Just look up what Einstein puts in their highly processed schmere's, it's trash and it tastes like it too. Zero chance if they put out a basil schmere that it wouldn't be chock full of artificial junk - just look up the their strawberry schmere on Instacart - ingredients include: Maltodextrin (filler, usually corn based), Modified Food Starch (likely where the bioengineered junk is coming from as noted under the ingredients), Natural Flavor (God only knows where the hell that came from), Guar Gum (a soluble fiber derived from the ground endosperm of guar beans - not something I want in my schmere), Color (almost get a pass except they state they use Caramel which is usually an artificial / petrol base colorant that is not good for you), Carob Bean Gum (plant-based thickening agent and stabilizer - still don't want it), Xantham Gum (produced by fermenting sugar with the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris), and then lastly Natamycin (natural antifungal preservative produced by bacteria -Streptomyces natalensis - something you really want to eat much of?). I'm tired of fake food, that tastes like cardboard. That lacks any nutritional value. We should celebrate when new companies come out like this - and not only that - but they offer their bagels at $1 if they have any left over after 12pm. These people deserve a block party in their honor for producing such high quality products - that yes - those unwilling to wait till 12pm whose selections might be more limited - will have to pay a bit more. People who recognize quality and hard working people will continue to come here. Last note, if you're trying to avoid seed oils, soybean lecithin / soybean oil - this is also a great place for you - and its one of the few places my wife can actually eat at since 99% of places in the USA these days, even the ones you think are higher quality - use trash ingredients with soy as a base - these guys do not. For that I say thank you again - to the owners of Starship Bagel. You guys rock - don't listen to the winey cry baby haters.
