Once Jeff Seal the builder called and cussed me out on the phone I knew that this was going to be a roller coaster ride. I was told that I come and check up on our house too often and that I shouldn't be coming by to check on things. There was barely any communication during the building process and if you did send them something with any questions Jeff seemed to get very upset. Amy Rose was always very helpful with any questions we had and always tried to best to help out. We have arch ways that lead into three different hallways and two of those arch ways were framed wrong. One side of the arch way was lower than the other. I have worked in construction and have a great eye for level and being able to see when things are wrong. Before any sheet rock went up I notified Jeff about this problem and they still sheet rocked over it. When I asked them to take off the sheet rock and fix it because I had already pointed it out he said no. I asked for a water softener loop to be installed and because I stayed on top of everything I got with the plumber to ask where it was since they were about to sheetrock. The plumber had no clue about this and had to call Jeff about it. I had also asked for concrete footings around the flower beds and under the fence. I came by to check on the house and they are about to start the fencing, so I have to call Jeff and get this sorted out again. In our hallway by the girls rooms the wall is crooked because the the wood they used at the bottom of that wall was straight. Guess what........ I pointed that out also before it was framed and nothing was done. Also lets not even get started on their " one year warranty". 5 people come out and fly through your home for about 15 min. I asked for a couple things to be addressed and we were told that happened when y'all move it and it wasn't like that when you closed. I was also told that we would be getting a shower door for our walk in shower and it is on the paperwork we signed when we closed saying these are the last couple of things needed. Jessica's tub leaked because they did not install the drain correctly, my back yard holds water in one area like a pond and they were going to come back and put a french drain in, but guess what I haven't seen or heard from them. I have also spoken with multiple home owners who are having slab problems. I would just steer clear and go elsewhere if I could give any advice. Ill get off my soap box now but I needed to get this off my chest and maybe save someone some headaches if anyone is thinking about buying a house from this clown

It is a designer series house where all colors and selections have been meticulously selected. Additionally, the house includes many design features such as a few outlets that have built-in USB ports, hidden outlets in the kitchen island, a hidden pantry, large shower nooks that fit very tall shower products, and an overflow of natural light. Jeff also allowed us to add (at an additional cost) a few upgrades that we wanted in our home such as additional electrical outlets, a pot filler, an outdoor kitchen with granite countertops. The Ventura Homes team has been very cautious about exposing my family to toxic chemicals and dust as I am pregnant. All repairs have been completed outside of the house and only installed on site. That level of care for the health of my family and I do not go unnoticed. Jeff Seal and his team always wanted to make us happy. So grateful that my husband and I found this beautiful house built by Ventura Homes as it does not disappoint!

My agent was Kari Campanella. She help with a temporary rental while she showed me and my wife around including other things like where to get my oil changed and buy groceries. So much more is needed than a house when you are new to an area but you really need to allow them to speak frankly about what they know so you don't end up with a bad builder or a location that is in decline. Overall they did there job but they want to be a continued friend after you finish moving.

Maintenance is spectacular. Once I submit a request, the are there usually the very next day and are very kind and hard working. The front desk is also wonderful and are always available and willing to help. There are also no bugs around since they regularly spray. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE i lived in one of their properties in wolfforth with my husband and my infant…read moreit was not a safe place to live for my 4 month old or me being a stay at home mother first thing we had to deal with when we moved in was them trying to charge me for plumbing issues that we didn't cause when we had lived there for 1 week. Then shortly after our heater would go out every month for about 4 months it once went out at night and there so called emergency number that we called was not in service. Upon moving in i contacted garret about mold spots in the bathrooms keep in mind they were in my INFANTS bathroom and he was very dismissive and told me to clean them myself. Another situation at this property happened when i was walking to my unit form my car and a elderly man from the assisted living behind me followed me and my infant to my unit and started banging on my doors and windows trying to get to us I called the police and called garret to tell him we were not safe in this unit and if there was a way that we could exit our lease and he was very dismissive again and told me it was not allowed because it wasn't considered a reason to break our lease. The last situation i went through was when wolfforth had a huge storm and my window along with several other tenants windows were shattered allowing bugs and water to enter. The whole time we were here the unit was invested with bugs i would have to sweep multiple dead bugs everyday. We did break our lease in order to have a safe living space for my infant this was never acceptable and will never be acceptable. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. i've never written a review before but i am writing this to hopefully help new parents and families so they don't put themselves or children in danger.
