I got a standard oil change and the recommended 60k mile maintenance on my Civic, and I had to get a signal light assembly replaced that was severed, probably by a rodent. The part took a while to show up, but I think it was on the supply side as opposed to this shop's diligence. The shuttle service was pretty good. They dropped me off and picked me up with no hassles and it was a good conversation, too. I felt like they really cared about the quality of their work and cars in general. I would be remiss to skip over the coffee! I tried a latte while I was there and I was impressed. The flavor was just perfect, showcasing the quality of the roast. I have not been so impressed with other standalone coffee shops, so I'm considering going back just for the coffee, lol. read more

Even though Jeep doesn't make a part replacement, they walked me through the available solutions and gave their honest perspective on cost and what they would do in my situation. Being new to Denver and looking for a mechanic I noticed the overwhelming positive reviews of this place plus the novelty of being a mechanic coffee shop. So I gave them a call and was able to get an appointment that same week for an oil change and tire rotation. They were friendly and prompt with the service. I didn't realize I got a free small drink as a part of the service but that's a strong play on their part. I received a text with a link to a full diagnostic breakdown from their inspection of my car so I was able to see if anything else was due or about due for replacing (air filters, tires, brakes, etc). I really appreciated that as someone who likes to see all the information for myself. So a quick recap. Great service, good coffee (I don't drink or really like coffee), and finally the best price. I had a terrible experience W lube and latte , one that is must disturbing. It started w a brake job .1275 and oil change ! Paid my bill , and I had no heat after picking up . I went next Day and they allegedly Chang Ed it !!!!! Still no heat ! I brought it back and they told me all lines were clogged and that someone used radiator stop leak!! In 5 yrs I never had problem . They told me I needed 8100. In repairs ! Head gasket , lheater coil, hoses , almost a new engine !! I new it was a lie and brought to grease monkey for radiator flush 175 dollars later I had great heat . There was no stop leak and no need for any head gasket etc . They lied and I have all paperwork to send to better business bureau , this is fraud,and the two mgrs there new i Please go to somewhere who stAnds by ! Honesty is the best policy read more

Had a great first experience with Lube and Latte yesterday. I was extremely impressed with Chris their Sevice Advisor's thoroughness to provide me with a detailed inspection, including pictures of what I needed for brakes. I really appreciated his ethics in saying I had some time to replace my front brakes and only recommended replacing the rear brakes. Unlike the 2 other Auto repair places I had been to saying I needed to replace front and rear brakes. Their Tech Jeremy did a great job, I was shocked on how quickly and professionally Jeremy completed the work. What I was most amazed by was the extremely detailed inspection they completed on my GMC Denali. It was categorized by first doing a 51 point inspection. Broken down into viewed immediate needs, then things to be aware of including pictures of everything thing mentioned. It was so detailed it gave me a perfect picture of where my vehicle is at. So I have found a one stop shop in learning they have the ability to repair anything wrong with my car including transmission and engine replacement! If you were looking to buy used vehicle I would totally recommend them to tell you exactly what shape that vehicle is in before purchasing it. It's disturbing to think that I've been taking both of our vehicles there for 3-4 years and now I'm questioning the work that was done to one of our cars, not to mention the expense. I took one of my cars in for what looked like an oil leak. When I went to pick it up, I was told the transmission fluid was leaking from the radiator and both the radiator and the lines would need replacing. That total would be $740. Never mind the radiator was replaced in 2018. I took the car to another service center referred by a friend today and they went in and tightened the hoses leading to the radiator and charged me $25. No leaky radiator, no need to replace anything. I'm disheartened, I really liked this shop and the staff. I don't know if it is because I am female or if they do this to everyone. I did reach out to the owner when I took our main car in for the 30,000 mile service- that was going to cost me $750. I took it to Hyundai and the total was $280. I'm at a loss here as there is no justification for these prices. The owner told me that their prices are competitive with other shops in the area. That's it, that was his response. read more

Yesterday I noticed my tire pressure light came on. A quick investigation of my tires turned up a screw. Shoot. Thankfully they open at 7 a.m. so I was able to get myself together and get over there a touch after they opened. They were able to squeeze me in right away and were really friendly about a walk in. Turns out I had two screws in my tire that they pulled out and they did a quick inspection of the rest of my tires. While I waited I enjoyed a delightful bakti chai with almond milk. I love love that not only do they serve drinks but they have a variety of milk options and two different versions of chai. Fabulous! They just won repeat business from us! read more

I will forever be appreciative of a kind gesture that Lube and Latte did for me! A few weeks ago, I drove into the Ace Hardware parking lot, and when I got out of my SUV, a mechanic from L & L came up to me and mentioned that he noticed that a rear brake light bulb had burned out. He told me to take my vehicle over to the shop and they would replace the bulb for me. After I finished my shopping at Ace, I took the vehicle over to L & L. I looked for the mechanic who had spotted my faulty brake light bulb. I couldn't find him, but another employee came up to me and said they were expecting me. They were relatively busy at the time, but he immediately went ahead and replaced my brake light bulb. I was prepared to pay them for the bulb and his time, but they did not charge me anything. read more

My husband is a loyal fellow and encouraged me to not go to Honda Service but to go to them. I went and got the Premium oil change where they check everything. A week later we were on the highway with snow and junk blowing on our windshield. They had forgotten to put in wiper fluid. We were in a very dangerous situation. Scared us completely when cars were whizzing by and we could not see anything. We finally made it home and I called, irate, at being put in such danger. How dare they do that? Well, they replied "everyone makes mistakes". I said, "Where is your quality control? Don't you have a checklist?" He replied, "Yes we do but putting in wiper fluid is not on that list". I couldn't believe it and told him he was putting peoples lives at risk because of a gap in their quality control. He was defensive and I told him he should thank me for bringing this to their attention before they were responsible for something really bad happening. I will never go back and am encouraging my husband to do the same. All the reviews say what a cute, neat place it is. Not so nice when you can't see out of your front window and you are scared to death. The owner was more interested in being defensive than in the slipshod work his team had done. I did not feel his concern and I will never go back. Watch out for the cute factor with the coffee and pastries. The work is what counts and I don't like posting negative reviews but this one is important, to help perhaps save someone else from this frightening experience. Also, previously, my husband had an issue which it turned out was only the low brake fluid which it took them a few times to figure out. These guys need to make sure their quality control doesn't have holes in it. I would not like anyone else to experience this. read more

I hate taking my car in for service but these guys managed to eliminate everything I hate about getting an oil change. They were super fast. I was prepared with my laptop to work for a few hours but they were done so fast that I only got one email completed. They were not kidding about lattes! The coffee doesn't taste like diesel and they have real dairy, none of that powder creamer stuff. The ambiance was much better as well. The owner and his wife apparently decided that they were tired of getting their cars fixed at ugly and dirty car garages, and thus they have the most beautiful waiting room I have ever seen at a car garage... This is like an "After School Special" with a cautionary tale in it. I am giggling to myself, as I think about how many thousands of dollars I have spent on cars that needed work but I over paid. Except this tale ends well. I took my car in because I thought there was an issue with the cooling system. I don't know much about cars but grew up with a brother who was a gear head. So I know if I am getting a sales pitch. Dustin looked at my car and told me the truth; about the work that needed to be done and was honest. He gave me a fair estimate and I will be taking my car back to him soon to get the work done. I ran the estimate by my brother and another family member and both agreed that this guy gave me a fair deal. So the morale of this story is, take your car into to someone as knowledgeable and fair as Dustin at Lube & Latte. 2/29/12 We picked up my car and the estimate went up $100.00. They showed us that the part they guesstimated on was more than expected. Guess what? I didn't care because they were right and I paid it and the car is working perfectly now. I recently visited L&L upon purchasing the Groupon coupon they posted for a tune-up. I agree with other reviewers that the appearance of the shop inside was very nice and so were the people. I had extra work done and was told that I needed even more. I had a second opinion and to my surprise nothing else needed done. After driving by this place a few times, I had to try it... Oil changes and coffee? What a great combo! My barista/mechanic dude was insanely helpful and nice. They didn't try to talk me into a bunch of "extras" like the corporate chains always do. I had a fantastic mocha that was just right, not too sweet and delightfully smooth. Yes, Lube and Latte exists. And yes, it is what you think it is. The juxtaposition is a little strange. It's part grimy corner garage, part coffeeshop. I felt a little odd listening to jazzy new age music, sitting on "mod" furniture, and watching a guy in a greasemonkey outfit use a milk frother. I think he burley tech who was discussing my air filter with me felt a little weird about it too, for that matter. But hey, it's a much better way to wait for your car than the typical lube joint, so swallow your pride and drink a $5 from the guys who change your oil. read more
