I looked up reviews here on yelp and was very wary but since it was on my direct route home I decided to pop in. I arrived there at 3:45pm (Thursday). Service by Devin (and another gal) was very prompt, courteous, professional, friendly. I was given the options for my VW (synthetic), offered water or coffee, and given coupons to redeem airmiles online and mail-in for a rebate from Pennzoil. Washer fluid was topped up, tires were checked (one was very low and I was advised to keep an eye on it). I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Couldn't be more satisfied (and relieved, given prior reviews). :)

My vehicle stayed in their shop for 4 days, and after the inspection they told me that my driver-side lower control arm was broken and that the thermostat needed replacement. They charged me $3,600, but never provided any proof, photos, or explanation showing that the arm was actually broken. They also refused to give me the parts invoice, never showed the cost of the parts they used, and provided no breakdown at all. They charged me $2,200 just for labor, yet this job normally takes around 3 hours, not multiple days. When I asked for labor rate, time, or details, they didn't provide anything. The whole process felt unprofessional, unclear, and extremely overpriced. The worst part is that after I picked up my car, it had even bigger problems than before. The vehicle started having new issues immediately, and now I have to take it to another certified Mercedes mechanic to fix whatever was done to it. I honestly have no idea what they did to my car, but the quality of work seems extremely poor. I am very disappointed and strongly warn anyone with a high-end vehicle: do not trust this shop with your car. They provided no transparency, no proof, no proper documentation, overcharged for labor, and returned my car in worse condition than it arrived.

I watched ONE man do all the work on the car ahead of me. He painfully changed each rim and lost track of which tires he had already done. The other vehicles had 2 or 3 employees (not including the people down below), someone could have helped the one worker out. I waited for over 2 hours while watching about 10 vehicles get serviced and leave before it was my turn. I had a coupon for wiper blades.. of course they didn't have any and offered me $5 off. I probably wasted $10+ in gas waiting. It's unseasonably hot so waiting in a boiling hot car wasn't an option. Will NOT be coming back. I want the last 2.5 hr of my life back.

I ended up calling Lube City to find out if they had the right battery for my car at first they said they didn't, but the manager for me back and told me he actually did have it. After 4 days they said they dont know what the problem is, but for a extra 200 they could put some piece in my catalatic converter of for 500 change it. My issue was an engine problem it was shaking when i drove it. It had nothing to do with the catalytic converter. it wasnt getting compression. The mechanic didn't even speak english. I dont know if they even did the work i paid for. I took it to another mechanic who is Caucasian and he told me it wasn't getting compression as the valves weren't opening fully and there is build up of carbon in the engine. He didnt even charge me for a diagnostic. Which took him a few hours to complete. I will never go to Deans again. I paid hard earned money and still got screwed over.
