Sac town ranch pizza was awesome. For $18 it was the perfect size and the flavor was amazing. I'd definitely go to these guys again. They were at jackrabbit brewing today and we decided to try them out and we were pleasantly surprised.

Been wanting to try this place, I'm a sucker for gourmet pizza. Pizzas are really good. It's unfortunate It's in a rough part of town, I was greeted by a kid asking for a handout while inserting my credit card into the parking meter. Ya don't wanna get mugged so I pulled my credit card outta there so fast without even completing the transaction and walked away quickly and said "I don't speak English." I better not get a parking ticket ... Anyway, was planning on eating here cuz i definitely wanted to wash yummy pizza down with cold beer but decided to take it to go since the girl made it clear she's the only one working and so it wouldn't exactly be full service so no tip. As I was waiting, there were 2 other groups that came in, felt sorry for them but they seemed understanding when she told them seat themselves and get your own menus. As I was sitting there staring out the window, I have a clear view of the cars, buses, trucks, etc. driving by as it's right smack in the corner of 12th/D. Also in my vantage point were the unhoused walking by, grasping their possessions close to them.

Pizza is my soul food, so when I found out about this place from a friend, I had to try it during my food tour in Sacramento. The place is quite chill and laid back. I loved their decor with the wonderful art. The ambiance gives a nice welcome feeling with a nice bar. We soon sat down, and were glad to see some good variety of beers , so we ordered a couple of glasses along with our order. What we ordered: -Chilled beer -Burrata Plate for appetizers - Mediterranean Pizza - Spanish Flan for dessert The beer was cold and refreshing, the Burrata Plate was excellent with the fresh Burrata Cheese and Pesto sauce, the Pizza was absolutely delicious , the pesto sauce had great taste, the toppings were proportionally distributed with good layer of mozarella, and most importantly, the crust was excellent -- yes the crust is the most important part of a pizza. And finally, the star was the Spanish Flan. It was wholesome, filled with love and goodness. I believe it's baked by the owner's wife. Amazing dish. Sad that I am only here for a few days and at the end of my Sacramento food tour, but would definitely would love to come back and taste their other Pizzas. To foodies: Give this place a try, you will definitely love it. Don't miss out on their beers and the amazing dessert. To restaurant management: Keep up the good work, guys. Went here for Sunday lunch and it was my first time here and I think this will be one of my regular pizza place. The pizza they serve here are delicious and fresh, we ordered Mediterranean pizza and it was amazing , Burrata in appetizers is a must try. The Brazilian flan for dessert (baked by owner's wife) is a perfect dessert to wrap up your meal. Service here is pleasant and ambiance is perfect for a nice meal with family and friends.

Anonimos may be my new favorite pizza spot! The vibe & the atmosphere is so chill and authentic for either a date night or a family dinner. (I took husband and my 3 kids ages 5, 7 & 11). Our waiter was also the bartender and he was very nice and helped with food suggestions. The pizza came out quick and was DELICIOUS and as an italian I am not early impressed with pizza haha. They had garlic oil and hot chili oil at the table and I put it on everything we ate. It was amazing and the chili oil gave a good kick, but wasn't overly spicy! (5/5 stars) Cheese Bread ($15) Pizza dough filled & topped with cheese, fresh garlic and parmesan (5/5 stars) as rated by everyone in my family All Meat Pizza ($25) Shredded mozzarella, American sauce, NY & Italian pepperoni, Italian sausage, spicy sausage, ( 5/5 stars) as rated by my husband and my 11-year-old daughter Pear Honey Pizza ($22) Shredded mozzarella, gorgonzola cheese, pear, prosciutto & honey. (5/5 stars) as rated by myself! The combination of the pear and cheese and prosciutto is just perfect! A little sweet and a little savory is my favorite combination! White Pie ($22) Shredded Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta, Black Pepper, Parmesa, Garlic Oil, Lemon Juice (5/5 stars) as rated by my seven-year-old daughter, and my five-year-old son. What a difference dining in makes! Anonimo is our go to for delivery. Our delivery service has been fairly good, and for the most part, the pizza generally arrives warm and tasty. It's always been an easy go to for delivery, and certainly better than chain pizza delivery. It never tasted like settling until we decided to dine in. It was after work, and since we were already downtown, we decided to dine in, and we're not looking back! We ended up ordering two pizzas since we couldn't make up our minds! We ordered a large cheese pizza, and we ended up adding prosciutto and buratta to. The thin pizza crust, and the lightly crunchy outside crunch combined with the cheese cheese, was like a bite of heaven. I love the fact, that for seated service, they bring garlic oil, and spicy oil for the pizza. Toss some of that garlic oil on the pizza, and you may never want to go home. The small pizza we ordered was Italian sausage, mushrooms, with some added pesto. Talk about a slice of heaven! There's something tasty about red sauce, pesto, Italian sausage, and cheese... it's just so good. Service was super quick, and we literally ordered, enjoyed a leisurely dinner, each other's company, and we were out of there in about an hour and change. Parking was super easy! The interior of the restaurant is fairly basic, and it's a nice little corner spot in the middle of downtown. Definitely worth checking out ! Diners tip: you know the pizza is good when you have leftovers, and you're able to eat it cold right out of the box

We got the Little Italy pizza, caesar salad, and the anonimo spritz. We went on a Friday night around 6 and it wasn't too busy. Service was fast and friendly, I think the pizza quality is good here. Kind of a bar vibe here, so if you want pizzas and beer dining in can be fun but taking it to-go seems to be the norm here. I'll definitely be back to try more pizzas.

What the pizzas used to be v.s. what they've become.

I've been coming here 4 years and order about once a month/once every two months. Very sad to see the quality progressively decline over the past year. They have slowly made the transition from a unique artisan pizzeria who had phenomenal dough and generous toppings into something reminiscence of Pizza Hut and corporate management of ingredients usage. I really, really liked Luccas and it is very unfortunate that it's made a transition into a cookie cutter establishment. There are many other pizza places in midtown that offer better pizzas. (p.s., the pictures are a few years old back from when this place was Anonamo Pizza and do not represent what pizzas look like today). Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat.

The food looked better than it tasted. It was decent. Like a 6.1/10 so definitely better than an average pizza. We only ordered a 13" margherita pizza. It looked really good. However, there wasn't enough sauce. It was more bread and cheese than sauce. Restaurant looked cool even though it's in a strange area. And the service was solid as well.

It seems like Luccas Pizza got rebranded to Anonimo pizza or the other way around. This was our first time visiting and we ended up getting their cheese bread appetizer and potato pesto pizza with Italian sausage for an additional $2.50 (menu said additional items were $2). The pizza seemed really dry (maybe the mushrooms and potatoes soaking in all the moisture) and there seemed to be barely any meat despite the extra charge. The cheese bread appetizer was pretty good with the marinara sauce that came with it. They charged us $1.50 extra for ranch without any heads up & I found a black piece of hair in one of the pizza slices (my husband and I have light brown hair). The place looked a bit janky because of the paint job and reusable paper menus & I wouldn't say the rap music was very family friendly. We wouldn't come back but I gave an extra star for the ladies being kind when serving us. I think they can def improve on the atmosphere, decoration, quality, hygiene, and taste.

Anonimo Pizza is everything you want in a local gourmet pizza shop. This unassuming location in downtown Sacramento is not the most luxurious place in the region, but you can get some amazing food here. Parking is limited to street parking, so plan ahead. The building has a decent size dining room with large windows and a small bar. Most of their business is clearly takeaway or delivery, but dining in can be an experience. We ate inside for lunch and had a great time. Our order was the prosciutto and burrata pie. It was very delicious with the burrata adding extra creaminess to the pizza, helping the salty meat. The larger pizza was too much for two guys. Yes, two guys and a pizza place... The menu is great with a lot of more gourmet options including sweet and savory toppings. You can also get a more traditional pie. Our pizza was a thin crust style with a thin sauce layer, but other choices may have other styles. Beverages were served in cans and bottles, and they have several topping bottles to customize each slice. It's hard to find much wrong with Anonimo's pizza, although the location is a bit rough for most. Prices reflect the quality of the product. It is always nice to find gems in Sacramento, and Anonimo Pizza fits the bill.

Love that they have vegan and vegetarian options available! We ordered their truffle and potato pesto pizzas, both 18". The food came out quickly shortly after ordering. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the pizzas were nicely prepared. I thought that both pizzas were a bit bland and under seasoned. They do have oil/chili oil and pepper flakes on the side to season your pizzas with. Great and fast service!

Went for a late lunch earlier this week and got the Old School and Potato Pesto pizzas. The pizzas came out super hot and the crusts were crispy. The old school pizza was pretty basic, so the flavors were what you'd expect, but the potato pesto pizza was bland. I felt like the potato slices were a little undercooked and in general, the pizza was kind of flavorless. Service was nice and they do have some other pizzas that sound unique and good - maybe those might be better. read more

I've only ordered for pick up before and I tried the spicy sausage and ricotta pizza. My only compliant is I don't like pickled onions so next time no onions, but other than that the pizza was light and full of taste. I can't wait to try more of their options. read more

Anonimo Pizza - What a great find! This place is kinda hard to get to at 12th and D, Google constantly thinks you want Domino's, it doesn't have a good bike rack and is in what can be a challenging neighborhood.... All that said it's a nice room with good selection of beers making really great, and I mean great, Neapolitan pizzas... a light crust, really good tomato sauce, quality toppings... I look for opportunities to find my way there and you should too! (Pro tip: from town take 10th street North and make a right on D St, park between 11th and 12th) read more

Ever since yelp sent my 2022 year in review I've been oddly motivated to write more reviews. Also I've always wanted to be an "elite" yelper so I can flex on my wife. So here I go reviewing every capitalistic interaction I will have this year. Anyway I ordered pizza for my staff because they're whiny little kids who can't even do IUR without free food. Just kidding guys in case you're ready this you're the best. Anyway this was the 2nd time in 2 weeks I go them food and usually I get something a little nicer but I just got them Thai food so I figured pizza will be cheaper. And I picked this place because it was closest to the office. One time I ordered food for my team and it was like, 15 minutes late and they were flipping the fuck out. They'll tell you now they were just joking, but in the moment I was scared someone was going to have a panic attack. So this time I picked a place close to the office. Also I'm all about slow food. Save the earth bitches. The main thing about this place is we spent a good amount of time debating how to say the name. I think we figured it out, but I couldn't reproduce that sound now if my life depended on it. Maybe that's the point? But about the pizza: it was good. read more

Such a chill atmosphere with killer pizza. Had the bitches love burrata, and the potato pesto pizzas. The bitches love burrata was tasty, sauce was bomb, but I did feel like there could have been more burrata and more prosciutto. The pesto potato pizza was so good! Make sure to try it with the chili oil they bring you for a flavor explosion. I will 100% be stopping by Anonimo Pizza next time I'm in sac! Also, our server was so friendly and kind! My perfect kind of pizza!! We halved the pesto potato and four cheese wow it was phenomenal with thin crust and packed with flavor and garlic confit! And they put homemade bottles of chili and garlic olive oil on the table! I mixed the two oils and ate with every bite! Also the spinach salad was perfect!! CANNOT wait to go back! The pizza was good but the prices are ridiculous! We paid $90 for 2 large pizzas (17" each). Also by the time we got the delivery it was cold. I really wanted to love this pizza but for the price not sure if I'd order from here again. It's hard finding decent take out pizza in Sacramento. I'm born and raised in CT so already found it crazy when we lived in LA and paid $20 for a large cheese pizza but if it was worth it I can justify it. This place is charging $25 for large cheese pizza $30 plus with toppings, then add in tax, tip and delivery fee you're paying $100 for pizza which is just insane. Maybe ok if you're picking up or eating at the restaurant but def not worth it for delivery. read more

Absolutely delicious! Still good even doordashed!!! And we werent the delivery person's first stop. We were wondering if we would get our pizzas soggy since they were made in something similar to a pizza oven so it had a thinner crust but they held up like a dream. I have ordered their pepperoni pizza several times and have had it delivered. Their pepperonis are delicious and my favorite part is their crust! Its crunchy and tasteful. I am obsessed with their pizza. I also have ordered their caeser salad and that was good as well. I really enjoy their homemade ranch dressing. It is very fresh. Izzie did not attend to all tables in a timely manner. It is evident there are regulars here. This resulted in Izzie placing our order in a to go box and had it sitting there for several minutes. We noted she then took it back and placed it on a metal tray. Pizza itself resulted in being extremely cold. She was too busy talking to the men at the bar about a chastity belt and further gossiping while was our pizza was on the counter. When requesting the bill, we had to catch her attention frequently followed by asking the man at the bar. Finally when being charged she ran the bill from another table. Clearly her mind is preoccupied in making sure the man sitting on the barstool "doesn't cry from her comments as 20 year old". Will not return. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

A rainy day necessity! As an Italian, I can say this is good ass pizza. We got the spicy, meatball pizza and loved it. There is a hint of sweet in it from one of the peppers they add, which I'm usually not a fan of- but I worked well together. Can't wait to try other pizzas next... Wow, we were pleasantly surprised by this place. We ordered the spicy meatball, duck carnitas, and old school pizzas and they were great! New pizza place in town! The Anonimo pizza is good overall, with friendly service and an interesting interior. We had the truffle pizza and sausage & ricotta pizzas. Both were tasty and fresh, though on the slightly smaller size I felt. The menu is more diverse than other top thin crust pizza places such as Pizza Supreme Being. I am interested in trying their Detroit pizzas, which is something I haven't seen in Sacramento yet. Overall, a welcome addition! read more

this is the best pizza in the area in my opinion. the crust is thin, toppings are of high quality, and the flavors are excellent. my wife had the vegetarian (kalamata olives!) and I had pepperoni. these were both great out of the oven that day and again when reheated for lunch a day later. service was warm and friendly. read more

Ordering online is smooth and affordable. Pick up time was short. Plenty of roadside parking. You can tell you're about to have good pizza by the aroma that graces your sense upon entry. Anonimo is the closest thing to good NY Style pie in the area. Might be the Best Pizza in Sacramento. Support this business. read more

We came here about a week ago. I got the one with pear, prosciutto and honey and Detroit style meat lovers. Both of them slapped. The restaurant had just opened and we're doing some test runs. I cannot wait to go back. The server was super nice. The pizza was amazing. A lot of places claim wood fired but don't execute. This place delivers. read more

First time we stopped in here. Being a Italian American married to a Sicilian we are fairly picky about where we go for our pizza. Both of us are extremely pleasantly surprised as the pizza was delicious and extremely well-made. Delicious fresh ingredients and powerful flavors. Definitely will be coming here again. I had this bowl at the other location; it was so delicious that I had to order it again here while taking advantage of the offer. It was a literal win-win situation. I customized the Chicken Tostada Bowl with baby spinach, white rice, raw carrots, tomatoes, cilantro, tortilla chips, feta crumble, and antibiotic-free blackened chicken. I included an extra addition of the lime cilantro jalapeño sauce and sweetgreen hot sauce. I was pleased with the execution of the bowl. The ingredients were beyond fresh and locally sourced. The flavor completely satisfied my taste buds. The bowl was portioned greatly, and thus was fulfilling. I enjoyed consuming the bowl in front of the establishment outdoors. This location presented a nice, peaceful environment in the heart of Midtown Sacramento. The parking situation was a bit of a challenge, since the Ice Blocks development is known to be busy in general. I'd prefer visiting the location on Fair Oaks + Howe, for the reason that parking is much easier. However, the Midtown location is just as great and meets expectations. They offer a variety of salads that are already created on their menu, or you can pretty much create your own. Most if not all of their offerings are pretty healthy, and if you're looking to increase your protein, your veggies, or just have a good meal, this place is for you! My last visit was a little rough. I actually lucked out and found a place to park, so of course, I thought that it was kismet for me to be able to dine in. The one thing that I don't like about ordering at the kiosk is that there isn't anyone that can answer questions or assist you with your order. It makes the process feel more complicated than it needs to be. I had wanted to ask about one of the dressings, and possibly add a different one to my order, and ended up having to wing it. Keep in mind there are people working behind the counter, but they're not there at least for my experience to help the customer. You pretty much place your order and they may or may not call you when it's ready. I had planned to dine in, and after waiting more than 10 minutes for my order, I asked at the Pick Up counter about it and found out that somebody had forgotten to make my salad. Then when it was ready, it was given to me in a to go bag. I took that as a sign that I wasn't meant to dine in... Sadly, I should have checked my order anyway, before I left the restaurant. As it turns out, my salad was missing a number of items that I had wanted and paid for such as extra protein, and different salad add-ins. What I did receive was OK but definitely not good and nowhere near great. This definitely was an expensive lesson and one that I don't need to learn again.

Classic meatballs: flavor and texture was good, aside from it not being warm Mac and cheese: flavor was okay, texture was a bit grainy, didn't have a strong cheese flavor and the breadcrumbs weren't crispy cabbage and cauliflower: I thought this would be good because the casserole dish in the display was almost empty, but had too much butter for my liking and was under salted The value of the food portion was good; both me and my friend were too full for dessert after eating the hot food combo. However, later in the day, I felt really unwell and ended up vomiting all of my food and running a fever. My friend felt sick to her stomach as well. Given that we shared the same meal from Sellands and both felt unwell after it, I was very disappointed about this experience.

Finding plastic in your food is a serious issue, and they treated it like I was just unhappy with the taste. Between the plastic in my food, the long hold times, and the complete lack of customer service, I won't be coming back. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters--and Jack's completely dropped the ball.

Once we were seated, our order was taken quickly. The food arrived hot and delicious. My partner had the steak, raspberry lemonade mimosa, and a cup of coffee. I had the yuzu benedict and a cup of aged earl grey. The steak was well cooked (medium rare), seasoned well, and melted in our mouths. The asparagus, Pico, and arugula complimented the steak and uplifted what would have potentially been been a heavy dish. I usually do not like topping on steak, but this was clearly a well thought out dish. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every component was the star and was celebrated. The yuzu Benedict was beautifully delicate. The bread was pleasantly toasted, but easy to cut through. Cucumber, pickled onion, and capers added pops of salt and freshness that paired well with the soft selected smoked salmon and perfectly poached eggs. The yuzu hollendaise brought everything together. The yuzu added the right citrus note without bringing the sharpness that lemon brings. The mimosa was pleasantly tart and bright. The tea was more mellow than a traditional Earl Grey with interesting notes of toasted rice. Even the coffee was the kind that is so good that you'll happily keep drinking it after the meal.

This is my favorite pizza spot in Sacramento. My favorite pizzas are the pear honey and the truffle. The Ceasar salad is one of the best I've tried, you can taste the anchovies in a sutil way, the crutons are homemade. The waitress was really friendly, she explained us all the pizzas and the huge list of wines they have. (My husband loves wines so this was Disney for him). We ate inside, the dine in area is clean is a small restaurant but it has a nice charm; my 2 year old daughter was walking everywhere, the waitress was really friendly with her she gave her a paper and crayons. My new favorite pizza spot! Ordered the pear honey pizza, chefs chop salad and meatball appetizer.. the salad was HUGE, split it with 2 other people, and it was loaded with different meats and toppings! Meatballs were some of the best I've ever had.. the pear honey was paired perfectly with prosciutto and a drizzle of honey. It was a difficult decision to pick a pizza because all the pizzas sounded soo good! I'll definitely be back very soon to try the duck carnitas! This place popped out of nowhere. I've been trying the best pizza joints in the Sacramento area, so I had to check this out. The photos looked solid & the actual pizza didn't disappoint. It's thin crust so it's light & you can have a few slices. The crust & dough are chewy. The sauce & cheese take the cake & have that salty bite to it if you catch my drift. Overall I would rate this pizza a 7.2 read more

The address takes us to Ice Blocks where we walked the entire block and couldn't find it. Pictures of the outside show it's on the corner of D St. This place is a nightmare to find so we gave up. read more
