The camarones diabla was more like a red mole. It was sweet and thick with not a lot of spice. The prawn had the heads on and they didn't give a heads up about that. The portions were amazing and the ambiance and service was good too! I don't think I will get that there again.

We loved our tacos!! Carnitas were our fave, but they were all delicious. The vibe is great with music and amazing food.

I finally made it to the Mitote Food Park and it was hopping on this Friday afternoon. I checked out the available options and decided on Lucia Sabina. I ordered 4 street tacos including mushroom, pork belly, shrimp and asada. The bucha (pork belly was the clear winner with bits of juicy, crispy pork. I loved the grilled jalapeño and onions that came on the plate. All the items were fresh and delicious.

This is the third time I have bought food from this truck and has disappointed me one bit I have tried something different each time. So far everything I have tried is delicious. So far I have tried their variety of tacos and the Gorditas. The Gorditas are delicious and so filling, I say that's a whole meal in its own. As for the tacos, for the adventurous souls try the Cochinita Pibil, origination is Yucatán. Staff is really friendly and courteous. I give this place Ten Stars but I can only give five.

I happened to be in Santa Rosa picking up some items at Trader Joe's. Since the pickings are slim in Healdsburg for a quick Mexican taco meal to go, I stopped at the Mitote food truck park in Roseland where the old Dollar Tree was before it closed down. I ordered 2 tacos to go from Lucha Sabina. One al pastor and one carnitas. The pastor was just ok. Some of the pieces were burnt. They are supposed to be crispy but not burnt and dry. The saving grace was there were a few pieces that were crispy and moist. There were plenty of onions on it but just a few cilantro stems. Yes, stems. The carnitas taco was ok, but bland. It had a few pieces of cilantro packed into one place and almost no onions. I know it's not a michelin starred place, but some care in putting together the tacos could be better. It seemed to take forever for them to get my order out. As for tacos, this doesn't compare to Taqueria Las Palmas. TLP tacos are simply delicious. I'll have to go back to my tried and true place next time.

It has been a few years since I last had their tacos and was looking forward to good cochinita pibil. I order both Al pastor and cochinita pibil tacos to go. I asked for no onions as they make me sick. The service was good and the tacos were made quickly. The Al pastor tacos had onions on them. I took as many off as I could and tried them. The pork was way over cooked and hard to chew. As for the cochinita pibil tacos, the pork was undercooked and there were huge chunks of fat. I did not eat them. I did not want to risk getting sick and threw them away. I was so disappointed with the food and will never come back.

Came on a whim on a coworkers recommendation. Staff was friendly, I wish I had a photo of the menu board for the day with all the different selections of meats was impressive. We got the Pastor super burrito (our friend swore by this) and three tacos to share: carne asada, barbacoa and carnitas. There was another meat option shredded pork that was marinaded) the cook gave me a bit to sample- loved it - had a hint of cinnamon. Tacos were made similar - some with green tomatillo salsa and others with red. The red was a bit spicy.. not unbearable but it had heat. Tomatillo was perfect. Of the three taco proteins (all were good), I would pass on the carne asada as it was a bit dry. The super burrito was really good, wet from the ingredients, could only eat half. Wished we would've gotten that "cinnamon" shredded pork for more flavor. The car ride home- hubby said it was good but nothing stood out.. my reply, well you could've tried the tongue or some of the other meats.. we got the "safe staple". He chucked and agreed. Would totally recommend and would suggest trying a meat you normally would not get.. :)

Great Tacos and service! The Alpastor is made on the vertical pit like it's suppose to be and cut right into your taco just like I remember in Mexico City! That just doesn't very often here! The other meats were also very tasty and the tacos a good size tacos full of greatness! It's definitely a come Back and have more tacos later try all the different meats

Taco de tripas (top) and taco de cochinita (bottom).

Possible the best tacos in Santa Rosa. They have an impressive meat selection which include al pastor, pibil, tripas, mushroom (not a meat but they make tacos with them and it's super tasty), lengua, camarón and much more. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by.

The Al pastor tacos are delicious and the reason I come here. They are cooked on a trompo like the way you are suppose to do it.

I am a non-mammal eater and the menu options here for me never disappoint. My go tos are chicken tacos, chicken nachos, chicken taco salad, and the absolute best thing for me is always the blackened fish tacos. Owners, chefs, cashiers provide excellent neighborhoody service. This restaurant walkability should definitely raise the value of property. Thank you Taqueria Las Palmas!

A++++++++++++++++++++++…read more Hands down one of the best Mexican places in California. I cannot find this kind of quality and quantity in the East Bay. I ordered 2 carnitas tacos with a side of rice and beans. They gave me enough for three people. I have never seen such a large plate of Mexican food before. Also, they gave me a generous amount of meat. The price of my meal was around $18. While we waited, they served us a big bowl of thin, crispy chips with a side of tasty salsa. I felt quite full after eating these chips. My sister ordered a taco plate too. She gave me some of her taco that had mango bits on top. My husband ordered a taco salad. It was not crowded at all when we visited. Then again, the restaurant was so spacious that it's nearly impossible for it to get too crowded. Besides the food, I enjoyed how they didn't have glass windows. You can see the street clearly and people passing by. I was hesitant to review this restaurant because I don't want it to get so packed that I have to wait one hour to get a seat. If this La Rosa were located in the East Bay, it would get packed fast! I'm glad it's in a city where nobody really visits. You won't regret visiting. I hope to visit again in the near future when I am in the area.

A great casual spot for some tasty mexican food…read more I typically order the carne asada tacos. I like that they are more "street style" type tacos and come with the radishes, onions, and a hot pepper. There is a salsa bar where you can get your own salsa/pickled veggies. The green salsa is my favorite, it's light and refreshing. I also like getting a plate of their refried beans, which are very buttery and pair well with the chips and salsa as a dip.

When you're ready to pay, the portable payment terminal shows only the final total, without an itemized breakdown of the charges. If you pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee is added. I have no issue with the fee itself. My problem is that the sales tax is calculated on the total after the fee is added. The credit card fee should have nothing to do with the tax amount. Additionally, the suggested tip amounts are also calculated based on the total that includes both the sales tax and the credit card fee. Most customers expect tip percentages to be based on the pre-tax cost of the food and drinks. As a result, you end up giving a lot higher tip than you intended to. Because the payment screen does not show an itemized bill, it's very difficult to verify the charges or calculate a custom tip unless you remember the exact prices of everything you ordered. I hate when a restaurant's billing practice isn't transparent to customers.
