You get what you pay for here! Big bomber sandos that are well constructed and thoughtfully crafted. I really liked the fact that the peppers are cut up into pieces that are actually spread out so you get some in every bite while not having to fight them. The ingredients were fresh and seemingly gourmet which made the sandwiches super good. The Italian was pleased with meat and cheese and the homemade bread stood up to the oil and vinegar dressing and held the whole thing together nicely. My wife ordered the salami sandwich had some nice pickled onions and an olive tapenade that elevated the sandwich to the next level. We sat at a communal high top table in a quirky space which is also a little market. Will come back again for sure
I am not much of a sandwich eater. I have thought because I can fix them st home, why buy one. Lucia's has changed my mind. I really enjoyed the grilled cheese with Kimchee and the grilled cheese with prosciutto.
Second time having Lucia's and can't eat sandwiches no other way. Got the rib roast which has horseradish, balsamic onions, and arugula. A bit pricey but good enough to share for two people especially if you have some sides like chips. Their sandwiches are one of a kind!
The best sandwich I've had in a long time! I'm not in Crockett too often, but this place came highly recommended from a friend, so I gave it a try! They have a big menu to choose from, but I felt like giving the "Genoa Salami" a try. Omg, it was fire! Tasty salami and fixins', but their balsamic vinaigrette is out of this world, and tied everything together! Bag of chips and an Italian soda for $3 more is a great deal today as well! Service was quick and friendly as well, and you can either order at the counter or on a tablet on the wall. I'll be back soon for sure!
Cute little shop connected to a few other shops. We got the breakfast sandwiches. They were tasty and perfect for one person. They even had a bucket of free bread pieces to take. The staff was friendly and informative. I'll have to go back to try their lunch options. Street parking only.
The BLAT was good. Maybe it's because I love toasted sandwiches. Make it a combo for $3 (chips and drink). Early warning- be prepared to wait for your sandwiches. My BLAT took longer to make than the turkey sandwich.
Have been wanting a sandwich for a minute. I've read great things about Lucia's. I wasn't disappointed. They have many sandwich options, including cold and hot options, grilled cheeses and salads!! Today I tried the club sandwich! Thinly sliced turkey on a buttery grilled sourdough slice!! Delicious and filling. I also got a bag of chips. I love Dirty Chips. BBQ is my favorite. Service is was great, and the store on the other side has something for just about everyone. Will definitely be back for the prosciutto grilled cheese sandwich!!

Not gonna lie... every photo here still left me unprepared for the size of this Chicken Breast sandwich! Dr. Pepper can (from somewhere else down the street) for scale. Needless to say, it was delicious and lasted for two days :) I also enjoyed perusing the goods and local recipe book for sale in the attached Olympia market while I waited. It's a lovely neighborhood space. Thanks Lucia's, I'll be back. Next time I hope to try the Rib Roast - I've heard it's the best of the best! Visual Note: There is no tomato on mine because they were out at the time (no biggie, I swung in ~5 mins before their closing) and I chose to sub out the onions it comes with for crispy ones instead - I probably wouldn't do that again for texture reasons, but that's on me for my own curiosities, not them :)
These sandwiches are amazing! We ordered online directly from their website for pickup on a weekday around noon and they were ready in about 30 mins. All sandwiches had the amazing focaccia bread and all ingredients were super fresh. I got the turkey sandwich and really enjoyed the avocado and pickled onions. I would recommend sharing a sandwich since they are huge and the portion would pair perfectly with a little side snack! Or a fancy coffee from next door The shop had plenty of seats and tables. Free water and games for kids.
This has become a regular spot for me. They just have the BEST sandos. I come here, at least, weekly. They've expanded too. There's a little market off of the main eating area. There's all sorts of neat stuff in there. (Yep, forgot the pics!) Sandwiches can take a bit of time but you can always order off of their app to avoid the "line." Eating is sort of communal but the coffee place & Lucia's have appeared to take over the restaurant space at the corner so you can eat there too. I've meet some cool folks there. I've a few, "don't think I'd order it again" sandwiches...like the spicy tuna (?) it was meh...nothing spicy. But I think the peanut butter "Elvis" sando will be the next one to try.
We had stopped at Calacas Coffee to get some of their delicious coffee. Only to find out, they were at a new location. Even better!!!!!! because they are connected to Lucia's Craft Sandwich. The star of the Show-- THE GRILLED KIMCHI! Wow, it was the most delicious sandwich for lunch. Simple & Fresh ingredients- Bread, Mozarella, Bacon & Kimchi. I think this sandwich holds a special place in my Heart!
If you're looking for A sandwich, and emphasis on "A," then Lucia's is where you need to go!!! I'm gonna get straight to it- the sandwiches are MASSIVE! You'll have enough to eat for later. When you open up your sandwich, you'll admire the beautiful layering of the meat(s), cheese(s), spread/ sauce(s) and veggies! They are not selfish with the amount of meat, cheese, spread/sauce and veggies they use either. There is definitely quality and quantity to their sandwiches. The ingredients they use tasted fresh, and the way they craft each sandwich will take your tastebuds dancing! Trust. I chose their Applewood Smoked Ham and wow... all the flavors and textures! 10/10 for me. I really enjoyed the apricot jam they used and how it was not overwhelming with all the fixings of this sandwich. The ham had a nice and light smokey taste which I think went really well with the hazelnut picada which gave it a nice crunch. Yelp Elite Dario O. ordered their Rib Roast and also wow!! The meat was tender and flavorful! Service was amazing. Staff was friendly and made the both of us feel like it wasn't our first time there; made us feel welcomed and at home. They got soooo busy during our visit but they pushed out orders in a timely matter with their amazing team work. And there was only 3 of them working! The space is tiny, and I think the seating area is shared between Lucia's and the coffee shop next door, but there are three tables. Two of them fit a party of six and one fits a party of four. Parking is on the street. So either way, take your sandwich to go or hopefully you find a seat because you'll need to be comfortably seated to enjoy their massive, tasty, beautiful sandwich! Also, don't forget the napkins because if you're kind of messy like me... then you'll need it lol They also have chips to pair with your sandwich. Overall, I will for sure be back for more!!

Grilled mushroom truffle sandwich for 12. WOW. Speechless. I used to get grilled sandwiches all the time at One House Bakery and they were more expensive but this grilled cheese sandwich is best in class! Will be back often! read more
Amazing sandwiches! Absolutely delicious. I ordered the black truffle and mushroom grilled cheese. Every single component was executed to perfection. The bread - perfectly toasted and I love that it was buttered and crispy! The bread is often overlooked, so this was especially appreciated. The cheese - yummy and gooey and a great amount of it. Married perfectly with the black truffle. The mushrooms were cooked and cut into perfect bit sized pieces. I was so impressed and so happy I stopped in to try this place on a whim. I believe I spoke to the owner she was so friendly and sweet, can't wait to stop by again. read more
Side street parking is a bit of a struggle, but not impossible. Very no frills place, but I liked that it simply has a place for you to order, wait and tables to the left to eat at your leisure. Greeted immediately when I entered and I'm hit with the smell of yummy toasted bread in the air. There are several sandwiches I wanted to try, but the mortadella jumped out at me. It's with eggplant, artichoke and ricotta. They ran out of tomatoes that day. It took about 20 min, but I was able to peruse the mini grocery mart next door. They carry chips from Ireland over there! The sandwich is quite substantial and a steal in today's economy. It was yummy and they didn't skimp on the thinly sliced mortadella. I'll definitely come back to try more sandwiches. read more

Have been back and it's always pretty good, I wish they had more flavorful sauce options for the sandwiches. They do taste fresh though. One issue is I made an order online before and they had no record of it which wasn't great. The service is good, it's a cute little place, and a nice little stop. They added Lucia's market in the dining area and they have the highly coveted caputos gluten free flour that you usually have to go online to find (read about it before you buy if you're celiac), they also have non-gluten free caputo items. read more

I love me a good sandwich & this place delivers. I got a classic, the club. Perfectly toasted buttery focaccia bread with the usual fixings. Can never go wrong, honestly. My husband got the Italian. Now this thing is LOADED. Super flavorful with the peppers. I recommend you let the sandwich sit for at least 5 minutes before indulging. Let the focaccia take in all the flavor and get a little soft. You'll have to open your mouth wide and squeeze down a little but it's worth it. & lastly, the star of the show, applewood ham. Sheesh! Apricot jelly pairs perfectly with the balance of the ricotta & pickled onions to give you a super savory experience. Your tastebuds will be in flavor heaven. Staff is super friendly with open space to eat in the next room with a small artisan food pantry. You'll enjoy the 10 minute wait for your sandwich, I promise. Enjoy! read more

Great local sandwich spot in the area. It is well connected to the coffee shop next door: Calaca Coffee. Quite convenient if you plan on studying, they offer many tables and the community wifi to be connected. It does get noisy on some days but I'm sure you can get around that playing music in your headphones. I enjoyed this chicken breast sandwich. I kept everything in it but I replaced the onions with avocado. Best decision I made. This sandwich is ART. See image attached. I couldn't finish the other half of how filling this sandwich is. I enjoyed every bite and I am excited to pass by to try other sandwiches shown on their menu in person. If you want a real and fresh sandwich, stop by here!! read more
Crockett has a handful of really delicious mom and pop spots and happy that it's a short drive away. When the sandwich craving hits, Lucia's delivers and exceeds expectations with perfectly crafted sandwiches and thoughtful recipes. The RIB ROAST is one of the best sandwiches I've had! Freshly baked bread, thinly sliced prime rib slices, homemade flavorful aioli- you can taste the garlic and lemon, vibrant arugula/tomato, and the perfect complements like truffle pecorino and crispy onions made this sandwich a home run. I was a little wary that the horseradish cream would be too strong so I asked for it on the side but it's actually pretty mild and tasty! Next time I'll order as is. The prices are a little high (my sandwich + a bag of dirty sea salt chips = $27) but trust me- WORTH IT - the portions are huge and you'll have leftovers for a 2nd meal. Tip- if you have an air fryer, a few min warming your sandwich in there will yield an even more delicious crispy warm bite! read more
When I say the ingredients are sooooo fresh here, i mean it! You can tell the freshness of the bread as soon as you take a bite! There's so many sandwiches to choose from, but I'm so glad there's also many options for non meat lovers! The truffle mushroom grilled cheese was to die for & something I'll keep coming back for. My bf said the italian would've been better if the bread was toasted. They do get busy during lunch time, but they work so fast to get the orders out! This deli sandwich place is legit. It is so good! I really loved the Italian Sub served with focaccia. The meats and sauce inside this sub was perfect combination. Brace yourself for a very messy but juicy and delicious sandwich. My mom and sister had the turkey sandwich and they also found that delicious. It took a while to get our sandwiches but it was worth the wait. There's plenty of seating and the eating area has light coming through the windows. Good for small groups. You could do take out too. The salad menu looks good so I'll try it next time. Street parking. read more
Outstanding sandwiches, a few salads, a fridge with drinks, and that's it. No coffee or tea. No wraps or cookies. Nothing fancy about the surroundings. Just great sandwiches with the freshest ingredients and bread (from Acme). They have creative recipes as well as the classics. They serve breakfast sandwiches until 11.30 and everything else all day. read more

I really wish that I loved the sandwiches as much as everyone else. First off, I will say that the sandwiches come with a generous portion of meat and fixings which is highly appreciated. I ordered the NOLA, but found it to be too salty, but that is probably because of the olives and peppers; I also ordered it with no provolone which I believe would help balance the flavor. What I didn't enjoy too much was the bread, which is funny because it's served on what looks like Focaccia. The bread was extremely hard and made it tough to chew, it wasn't soft at all. The price for two sandwiches and two bag of chips came to $50. Although it is on the higher-end, I don't mind the cost since it's a local deli and they don't skimp on the meat/fixings as you can see from the photos provided. There is a separate dining area that comes with plenty of seating. I believe it's also connected to the local coffee shop next door. read more

I was passing through on my way home when I stumbled upon this place. I ordered the mortadella sandwich, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The fresh focaccia bread was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious mortadella. I was so impressed that I'll definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. The place has a few tables and is located in a cool spot in Crockett. read more

While waiting for an appointment I decided to find a local deli here in the small downtown area of Crockett. Thank you Yelpers for leading me to Lucia's. After debating in my head which sandwich to have, I went with the albacore tuna sandwich which has artichokes, pickled onions and basil. It was hard to choose because they have hot sandwiches as well as a variety of melts. Another time! I waited in the cozy room next door facing the street and devoured half of the sandwich. It was a really delicious sandwich with my only pet peeve was that it was very wet either from the Mayo or artichoke juice. This didn't distract from the flavors at all. Good thing there is an ample supply of napkins in the bag. I'm so glad that Crockett has some cool local shops open for everyone to enjoy. And, I'll steal some of their ideas for my next at home tuna Sandwich. Easy free street parking. Please support this local business. read more

We were craving sandos on our drive home to Sacramento from Oakland and wanted something beyond the hustle and bustle. That's when we found Lucia's in Crockett, what a hidden gem! Neither of us had ever been to Crockett before but its quiet charm and quirky vibe immediately won us over. We ordered the Toasted Turkey Club and the Applewood Smoked Ham (with bacon added) and both were absolutely incredible. My husband said the club was the best he's ever had. I don't think we spoke more than a few words while devouring our lunch and the only ones spoken were directly related to our love of these sandwiches! All orders are prepared to-go but there's a small seating area if you'd prefer to stay and enjoy your sandwich on the spot. Also the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better! Lucia's is officially on our must-stop list and we're already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu (and Crockett)! read more

Highly recommend the Club Sandwich with Pickled Onions as an add-on! Not going to lie, it was a bit longer of a wait than we were expecting. I think maybe 20-30 minutes but it was well worth it. We were so glad we waited because the crunchy, toasted bread makes all the difference in a good sandwich. Ingredients tasted fresh and high quality and it was well-balanced--creamy from the avocado, acidic and juicy from tomatoes and savory from the deli meat. I feel like sometimes it can be overdone with deli meat for sandwiches from other places but I like balancing that with all the other flavors and veggies in a sandwich. As a bonus, we weren't able to eat at the deli and went back home (10-15 mins car ride), the sandwich was still crunchy and not soggy at all, even with the added pickled onions. Service was very kind and welcoming. They treat every customer with respect and welcome any questions or offer suggestions for those who ask! read more
My friend and I came to Crockett to explore a little, and I arrived right after my workouts, so I was starving! While I waited for my coffee from next door, I decided to get a sandwich. I ordered the pear gorgonzola grilled cheese and holy crud! It was absolutely delicious and so filling! I ate half and was so ridiculously full (which just meant that the second half was dinner!). Maybe I was starving and thus am biased, but the sandwich was delicious and absolutely hit the spot! Can't wait to come back! read more

Review is for 1 visit. Went last week on Sunday morning around 11. Friendly and swift service. The staff member let me sample an alternative meat for my sandwich. Got the Genoa salami sandwich. It was HUGE and loaded. This sandwich can be good for 2 people depending on your appetite. They are not skimping on the food. They have a lot of seating. Have heard good things about this place from others. They are also rated one of the top places in the Bay Area to get a sandwich per the SF chronicle! I want to come back and try more! They also have a Martinez location I think. read more
We were craving a sandwich on the way to the city and found this sandwich spot located in Crockett. This is actually my first time ever in the city and it felt nice and homey with some small shops and restaurants along the street. Parking was a little bit difficult to find as we couldn't find a parking lot so there were only street spots available. The sandwich shop is connected to a coffee shop which we ended up getting and was a nice pick me up. I ordered the rib roast and my fiancé ordered the applewood smoked ham sandwich. You know sandwiches are made with extra love when it takes some time to make. Let me start by saying that you haven't had a sandwich until you've tried THEIR sandwich. The sandwich came out huge and was actually enough for me to eat for lunch and dinner later on. All the ingredients meshed so well together and tasted super fresh not to mention the tender rib roast. The applewood smoked ham was also delicious and fresh. That apricot jam was the perfect ingredient to compile all the flavors together. The people who work there were all super welcoming and inviting and the place itself had a small seating area next-door that could accommodate 20ish guests. This just might be our go to sandwich spot when crossing Carquinez Bridge. 10/10 highly recommend!! read more
