Side street parking is a bit of a struggle, but not impossible. Very no frills place, but I liked that it simply has a place for you to order, wait and tables to the left to eat at your leisure. Greeted immediately when I entered and I'm hit with the smell of yummy toasted bread in the air. There are several sandwiches I wanted to try, but the mortadella jumped out at me. It's with eggplant, artichoke and ricotta. They ran out of tomatoes that day. It took about 20 min, but I was able to peruse the mini grocery mart next door. They carry chips from Ireland over there! The sandwich is quite substantial and a steal in today's economy. It was yummy and they didn't skimp on the thinly sliced mortadella. I'll definitely come back to try more sandwiches. read more

You get what you pay for here! Big bomber sandos that are well constructed and thoughtfully crafted. I really liked the fact that the peppers are cut up into pieces that are actually spread out so you get some in every bite while not having to fight them. The ingredients were fresh and seemingly gourmet which made the sandwiches super good. The Italian was pleased with meat and cheese and the homemade bread stood up to the oil and vinegar dressing and held the whole thing together nicely. They have a big menu to choose from, but I felt like giving the "Genoa Salami" a try. Omg, it was fire! Not gonna lie... every photo here still left me unprepared for the size of this Chicken Breast sandwich! Dr. Pepper can (from somewhere else down the street) for scale. These sandwiches are amazing! We ordered online directly from their website for pickup on a weekday around noon and they were ready in about 30 mins. All sandwiches had the amazing focaccia bread and all ingredients were super fresh. I got the turkey sandwich and really enjoyed the avocado and pickled onions. Oh I've eaten here more times than I can count and I'm always so hungry I forget to take a picture. Next time for sure! Today I had the prosciutto and fig grilled cheese and it was divine. I called over the phone since I was driving and couldn't order online and the gentleman was pleasant, took my order and they were quick. This has become a regular spot for me. They just have the BEST sandos. I come here, at least, weekly. They've expanded too. There's a little market off of the main eating area. There's all sorts of neat stuff in there. (Yep, forgot the pics!) Sandwiches can take a bit of time but you can always order off of their app to avoid the "line." Eating is sort of communal but the coffee place & Lucia's have appeared to take over the restaurant space at the corner so you can eat there too. I've meet some cool folks there. Great local sandwich spot in the area. It is well connected to the coffee shop next door: Calaca Coffee. Quite convenient if you plan on studying, they offer many tables and the community wifi to be connected. It does get noisy on some days but I'm sure you can get around that playing music in your headphones. I enjoyed this chicken breast sandwich. I was a little wary that the horseradish cream would be too strong so I asked for it on the side but it's actually pretty mild and tasty! Next time I'll order as is. The prices are a little high (my sandwich + a bag of dirty sea salt chips = $27) but trust me- WORTH IT - the portions are huge and you'll have leftovers for a 2nd meal. This deli sandwich place is legit. It is so good! I really loved the Italian Sub served with focaccia. The meats and sauce inside this sub was perfect combination. Brace yourself for a very messy but juicy and delicious sandwich. My mom and sister had the turkey sandwich and they also found that delicious. I really wish that I loved the sandwiches as much as everyone else. First off, I will say that the sandwiches come with a generous portion of meat and fixings which is highly appreciated. I ordered the NOLA, but found it to be too salty, but that is probably because of the olives and peppers; I also ordered it with no provolone which I believe would help balance the flavor. What I didn't enjoy too much was the bread, which is funny because it's served on what looks like Focaccia. The bread was extremely hard and made it tough to chew, it wasn't soft at all. The price for two sandwiches and two bag of chips came to $50. Although it is on the higher-end, I don't mind the cost since it's a local deli and they don't skimp on the meat/fixings as you can see from the photos provided. While waiting for an appointment I decided to find a local deli here in the small downtown area of Crockett. Thank you Yelpers for leading me to Lucia's. After debating in my head which sandwich to have, I went with the albacore tuna sandwich which has artichokes, pickled onions and basil. It was hard to choose because they have hot sandwiches as well as a variety of melts. Another time! I waited in the cozy room next door facing the street and devoured half of the sandwich. It was a really delicious sandwich with my only pet peeve was that it was very wet either from the Mayo or artichoke juice. This didn't distract from the flavors at all. Good thing there is an ample supply of napkins in the bag. I'm so glad that Crockett has some cool local shops open for everyone to enjoy. We were craving sandos on our drive home to Sacramento from Oakland and wanted something beyond the hustle and bustle. That's when we found Lucia's in Crockett, what a hidden gem! Neither of us had ever been to Crockett before but its quiet charm and quirky vibe immediately won us over. We ordered the Toasted Turkey Club and the Applewood Smoked Ham (with bacon added) and both were absolutely incredible. My husband said the club was the best he's ever had. I don't think we spoke more than a few words while devouring our lunch and the only ones spoken were directly related to our love of these sandwiches! All orders are prepared to-go but there's a small seating area if you'd prefer to stay and enjoy your sandwich on the spot. Also the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better! Highly recommend the Club Sandwich with Pickled Onions as an add-on! Not going to lie, it was a bit longer of a wait than we were expecting. I think maybe 20-30 minutes but it was well worth it. We were so glad we waited because the crunchy, toasted bread makes all the difference in a good sandwich. Ingredients tasted fresh and high quality and it was well-balanced--creamy from the avocado, acidic and juicy from tomatoes and savory from the deli meat. I feel like sometimes it can be overdone with deli meat for sandwiches from other places but I like balancing that with all the other flavors and veggies in a sandwich. As a bonus, we weren't able to eat at the deli and went back home (10-15 mins car ride), the sandwich was still crunchy and not soggy at all, even with the added pickled onions.
