My wife and I come here every week. It's our favorite "usual" place to go to and dine in. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is good. Always very hot when they bring it out. I like the breading on the chicken. There's actually quite a bit of breading but you still have a generous sized chunk of white chicken meat that it's wrapped around. The portion of chicken is easily big enough for two people to split. Sauce is good, no complaints whatsoever. My wife enjoys her white rice while I enjoy my fried rice. The one thing I love about this place is their fried rice. They don't add peas, carrots and everything else that everyone else adds. Just egg in the fried rice and that's the way I like it. Egg roll that comes with the meal is small but tasty and I typically don't like egg rolls. Water is very clean tasting here, always refill my water to go. The service in here is great. The people are always friendly! In fact the cashier even remembers us and our order every week! think she remembered us by our third visit here. The order style is like many other restaurants in the area. You come in, order at the register, and they bring your order out to you. Full menu is at the front at the register. They're also really fast. No matter what time of evening my wife and I come in I think our meal is usually ready in about 10 minutes or less. As far as price goes this place is very reasonable! I think my wife and I pay somewhere around $10.50 (give or take) before tip for a dinner order of Sweet and Sour Chicken with White Rice and an extra side of Fried Rice and an egg roll. For anyone who has had problems in the past with this place I'd easily understand the frustration but ask that you give this place time and another chance. They're still a fairly new place. They're still probably trying to figure things out (i.e. online orders). I don't pin these people for incompetent or dishonest. Just probably trying to learn something new and got something wrong for someone. We're human. It sucks. But we learn. Love this place. My wife and I will continue to return time after time! read more

Great local Frisco takeout. Been getting delivery from here since they've opened. They merged with Lotus who was located down Preston. They used to have one of my favorite fried rice but since the merge, no longer offered Bbq pork with their fried rice which is why one star removed. Otherwise, great service and delicious food. read more

This restaurant has been around for a long time in Frisco and we have been going there consistently for take out for the past 4-5 yrs. However it's always the same crappy customer service and what's the most annoying is that they are cheap when you ask for any hotsauce or chilli sauce. Other restaurants gladly give you as much as you want upon request, but this place only gives you one little half-filled sauce cup and give you dirty looks if you dare ask for more. Ordered lunch on line at 12:16 and called at 1:40 to see why we had not had our food delivered. I was told they didn't have an order for me... but I have a confirmation email saying it was received. Absolutely no excuse other than "We don't control the online order!" If you don't then who does.. its your restaurant. Food was nasty along with the service! All of our dishes was drenched in soy sauce...so gross. Will not be coming back.

Very awful customer service. I ordered for delivery over the phone and they typed my card number in incorrectly, which caused the card to decline. The lady on the phone then laughed to her employees saying "haha her card declined!" When I asked her to double check the number she said "just because it declined doesn't mean I typed it in wrong". I had her retype it correctly this time and of course it worked. I've never experienced anyone so rude and unprofessional, and we'll never order from them again. read more

One of the primary reasons I ordered from Lucky 99 was due to the availability of their menu online. But don't try to submit and pay for your order online - it doesn't work. The woman at the counter was pleasant and even took the time to tell me that my soup came with "chips" when I had requested 2 additional bags. I'm sure some people would have just given me the 2 bags and charged me for both! I ran out to pick up my food, and though my drive there and back was a little over 20 minutes, my food wasn't very hot when I opened it to eat it. Also, my lunch combo was supposed to come with an eggroll (which according to reviews are tasty) but mine didn't. Had I known, I would have ordered an eggroll. I will probably stick to tasty eggroll in Plano when I want chinese food in the future. read more

This is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Frisco-Plano area. Their food is very good & very cheap too. The portions are huge and it is located very close to my home. I have visited them 4 times in the last month and I will love to visit them again. This is our local place. The restaurant is dirty and the tables are sticky so I would not eat at the restaurant. However the food is tasty and inexpensive. We like to order the Lunch Special or if on the weekends/after 4 PM, we order the Family Special. The Kung Pao chicken and Seseme Chicken is good. Egg Drop Soup and Hot and Sour Soup is good. Noodle dishes are a bit soggy so don't order the Lo Mein. When we want to eat American Chinese Food on short notice, this is a good place to eat. read more

Limited menu of hodge podge...Chinese? Thai? Curry? We told the blue haired woman we were recommended by a regular customer. She was rude in saying "I don't know who you're talking about I have so many customers". The menu had Salt and Pepper Squid so we asked if they would be able to make Salt and Pepper Shrimp as the menu says $1.00 to add shrimp. She rudely replied "is it on the menu " and asked the chef/owner "you can't substitute squid for shrimp can you?" while nodding her head (double negative). Thanks but no thanks. She then tried to give an explanation that the food is fresh, authentic and made to order. Not really if you can't accommodate simple substitutions. They lost an opportunity for us to order a seafood entree. While waiting 20 minutes for our order we heard how rude she is on the phone to others. No customer service. The owner should realize this woman is hurting her business even though the food is sub par. We will not be returning to Lucky 99. We would rather go to Panda Express. read more

We order from here often. We want to support small businesses during the coronavirus self-quarantine and ordered delivery. The owner assured us they are very sanitary and will do their best to minimize contact. After the door bell rang the driver placed our order in a dry area (it's been raining), stepped back and left before we opened the door. We appreciate the extra precaution! I have been eating here for years but the new management is horrible. I ordered Mongolian beef and fried rice. The first bite I tasted something crunchy but i tried to keep eating it. Later I bit something so large and black that I had to call. The lady asked me to text her a picture and when I called her back she said it was burnt garlic. I love this place. We have it delivered regularly. Every thing is always hot and fresh. I often make special request, little changes, and end up with exactly what I ask for, made to order. Their lunch special is very affordable, and buying my family dinner from here cost less than pizza and is much healthier. The dinner entrees have such large portions, I usually share or have leftovers for the next day. They deliver in 20 minutes time even though they say it will take 30-45...oh and I'm addicted to the coconut soup. read more

My husband and I ordered from this place and I ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. I suspect the wonton soup was the culprit because the meat inside tasted sort of weird. I really tried to like this spot because a friend referred us. Another pet peeve is they don't have a system where you can upgrade the plain tasteless rice that comes with the entrees. I rate this place higher than their current (as of today's review) 3-1/2 stars. Their food is Americanized, but less than Panda Express. We have gotten their lo mein, fried rice, hot and sour soup, moo shu pork, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken. Their flavors are good and their prices are fair. We have never gotten sick from their food (this may be a weird comment to some, but we have gotten sick from to-go food from several establishments around Frisco and Little Elm and have had to write them off our list). This place is always busy, and we have found that it is a favorite amongst our acquaintances in Frisco. Next time, we will venture out and try their other dishes. read more

Got a flyer and decided to try it out. I called for delivery and was told it'd be 45 minutes, but I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up at my door 15 minutes later! The Moo Goo Gai Pan was delicious--like Mia F. said, the veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked. The won ton soup was also yummy and you could just tell they use fresh ingredients. The egg rolls are pretty small, and one definitely had a lot more "stuffing" inside than the other, but they were still tasty. I'll be going back to Lucky 99 again! read more

Went and wanted something healthy. Which was okay.... Wanted two meets they said we don't do that. I said I would pay more. Picked a different sauce and wanted peanuts added. They wouldn't do that. I said no rice and replace with soup. Guess what??? They don't do that. I paid 15.00 for shrimp beef and a few vegetables. Won't go back. But the food was all right. Convent for where I was at. It is terrific that such a great Chinese food takeout restaurant is so close to our neighborhood. Lucky 99 can get quite busy and on my most recent visit, after a failed attempt to call in my order, I drove over to place my order in person. During my wait, I witnessed a very efficiently run operation that can handle the large volume of orders. The service is also very friendly. The food is delicious-freshly prepared and not greasy. Also the right ratio of meat to vegetables so that the meals are a great value. In addition to takeout and delivery, there are several tables to dine in. The restaurant is very clean and has a pleasing decor. Not your typical strip shopping center dining establishment. read more

I called ahead. They said it would be ready in 20-25min. They were totally slammed, probably bc they just merged with Lotus. It was chaos. They were polite and apologetic. 45 minutes after placing the order, I got home. Nicely packaged. Looked ok, then came the sodium overload. Everything was so terribly salty. Maybe because this is catered to more American tastes since we're out in Frisco.... It was unbearable. My husband is Chinese and is usually pretty forgiving with Chinese takeout but he couldn't even finish his meal. I'm thirsty. So very, very thirsty. read more
