Absolutely delicious! The shrimp and cheese rolls were new to us and we all loved them! The double Philly roll was our favorite though so fresh. All the noodle options were yummy and everything was perfectly cooked. The teriyaki chicken on a stick wasn't the most flavorful we've had but it wasn't bad I've just had better. It was my first time there and if I lived closer to this spot it wouldn't be my last. They had great entree options for a great price.

Food was cold. Either over salted on under seasoned. Staff were not helpful at all. Didn't have high expectations walking in but outcome was even worse. Place is very dark probably to mask the look of the food. read more

I continue to go to this place primarily because they have seaweed salad, which I love. But a few times I've gone there and they're out of it, with nobody behind the sushi counter to ask for more. When someone is behind the counter I usually ask for eel sauce, which is much better than soy sauce. They also have coconut shrimp (my favorite), stuffed mussels, chicken on a stick, little fried tubes filled with cream cheese which are very nice), egg foo yung, egg rolls, salmon, General Chicken, yada yada yada. Not the best selection, but far from the worst. On the times when I went instead to Mama Garden, the buffet down the road, I found myself missing the seaweed salad and my pocketbook griping at the larger price. Okay. So even after reading the previous reviews, I STILL decided to try this place. Sometimes we make dumb decisions. I can tell the owner is probably cheap. Lo Mien should have sauce on it. Cashew chicken is missing the "Cashews"... what in the? Don't you think it's time to buy a bigger rice cooker? Geez, this is from the 70s? In general, one of my favorite buffet dish is the the coconut shrimp. The outer layer is somewhat crispy and it has a sweet salty flavor to it, but idk what is going with theirs. It falls apart like the cook was afraid to burn it??? Not impressed. Well I'm sure you guys are aware that your dining is pretty ... LOOK! It's a tumbleweed! It's not really a buffet it's more like a cafeteria with a very limited menu. They give you a Styrofoam box and you walk through a line and you tell the server what you want and they put a scoop on your box and you're only allowed to go back once. read more

We went there last night and the price is reasonable. The selection is good. Their fried rice is some of the best buffet fried rice out there. I recommend the muscles and the chicken skewers. I like that you can also choose your own seat. Oh and they are quick to take away your dirty plates. Highly recommend go enjoy! read more

Food is great, but they don't know the laws regarding service dogs and both times I have gone, one with a friend who also had her SD with her and another time with my family, they have asked us to leave my medical equipment at the table. Which according to the Americans with disability act or ADA is illegal. Even when explained this or shown the laws they kept on pressing the issue. read more

The food is always cold. Don't know why the health dept isn't in there just for that. They determine their price as they go. Been in 3 times and each time have been charge a different price for the buffet. Being in the restaurant business for 40 years tells me that they don't turn the steam wells up higher so the food would get burnt or dried out, this tells me that the food is not fresh either. When they do bring out fresh food it is not hot, and they just pile it right on top of the old food that has been sitting there God knows how long! If the old food is close to spoiling, it spoils the new food put in fast. read more

Well i tryed this for the first time since moving to the KC area. Lot of selection but the food was cold to luke warm at best. The price was fair at 9.99 for the buffet but then you pay extra for your drink and tax came to $ 12.79 which still not a bad price but the food not being hot was the biggest draw back for me. I love it! Best quality for best price! Lunch is $5.49!!!!!!! Dinner is $7.99. Sushi is always fresh and chilled! The rest is decent americanized Chinese food. Great hot and sour soup! The staff is awesome! On the ball with drinks. They also have Mongolian BBQ but I fill myself with sushi before I have had a chance to try it! We literally go once a week. This was pretty standard buffet dining. There were a few exceptions though. The place was kinda dirty and the food was contaminated. We found construction debris in the curry chicken... The staff was almost ticked off that we were there or something. There were a number of handwritten signs. One of them inform you to please pay before you begin eating. I see why now. Before you leave make sure to keep your receipt. A man that work there accused me of trying to leave without paying. When I first arrived, I asked a lady if they accepted debit/credit. She said yes would you like to pay now? I said sure! I was there with my three daughters ages 10,9, and 7. At first she rang them up as adults. Couldn't find anything to like. Walking through the front door, one is greeted with the foul odor of a dirty space. More specifically, the front of the house smelled like a rancid back of the house. The staff was nice, but their courtesy was strained. The staff member at the checkout asked how everything was in a depressingly apathetic manner. I've been here several times and was pleased the first time. I can say the food (what's left) is hot. And they do have a decent selection, when the food is refilled. But I've been here at different times and aside from that first good experience I have not been happy. Tonight was the worst. Now don't get me wrong, the place is always doing business. And the staff is pleasant and friendly. But when I was here last week the dessert table was close to empty. Barely anything left. Tonight was the icing on the cake-if there had been any cake. There were TWO cream puffs left. And even the fruit that was left was in bad shape. A friend of mine told me about this place and raved about how great the food was it's in an old Perkins or Tippin's so I thought okay I'll give it a try but as I suspected it was nothing fancy in fact it took his 10 minutes to get seated in after that the food was just average the one I say average even a buffet food is expected to be average but this is I guess well I guess you could say below average because the crab rangoon was old and crusty and the chicken had been sitting out for a little bit but yes it took us 15 minutes just to get her tea so yeah it's a bad place but I guess you get what you pay for it was only 8 bucks read more
