Assortment of pastries, big fan of the cinnamon bun! Get it warmed up

Great little local coffee roaster located in a kind of hidden shopping center in Dunwoody... But at 5 PM on a Sunday it was packed! Very chill atmosphere, a lot of people chatting or working on their computers. They have a really nice selection of teas. My mom tried the decaffeinated honey apple tea and it was so tasty. I went for a white tea with rose and enjoyed it very much. My man had an Americano and he said that the roast on the beans was wonderful. We all went for pastries and every single one of them was so good. The cinnamon bun, the blueberry muffin and the chocolate on chocolate cookie! My fiancé accidentally dropped the blueberry muffin and they were super nice and replaced it for us with no hassle. We appreciate that very much.

The coziest coffee shop in Dunwoody! You can tell the pastries are fresh by looking at them (they tasted as good as they looked). Lots of coffee and non-coffee options. Made to order. The Snowflake Crunch Latte was really good. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Not ideal for large groups but definitely plenty of seating available. Plenty of parking too. Kid of a hidden gem - but don't sleep on the Lucky Goat!

My husband and I don't get out many of the downtown areas of Atlanta often, including Dunwoody. However, we decided to visit Lucky Goat on a day that we planned to go to the Georgia Aquarium. We both loved the vibe of the place and immediately were intrigued by their merch for sale. We left with mugs, glassware, and stickers because we loved it so much. There is both interior and exterior seating. The exterior seating allows you sip on your coffee with your pup by your side. The location did seem busy as it was a weekend, but our items were presented to us still in a timely manner. I had a flavored matcha and my husband had a flavored latte. Both were good and not overly sweet. Additionally, we also got a food item each. Mine was a stuffed croissant which I definitely could have ordered a second one of.

Looking for new cafes around this Dunwoody/Doraville area, and I stumbled across Lucky Goat Coffee. I called ahead to see if there were outlets, and the person who picked up really sold the place as a great study cafe. Great music choices! They played some great bangers, and the ambience (and the people?) wasn't loud so I was able to do work without headphones. All the tables have strategically placed outlets. There's one big table with like 7 seats in the back next two 3 sets of outlets and right by the two bathroom stalls. There's bar seating with USB charging and a couple sofa chairs at the front. There's plenty of free parking in the lot. They're newly opened so they're having a get 15% off if you follow their IG or Facebook. They also are doing a point reward system based on your phone number! I got an iced pumpkin spice latte (tis the season I know). It was more cinnamony than expected with little to no pumpkin flavor. I'd come back to try the lavender honey latte though (should've gone with my gut). The staff seems like super nice folks and easy to talk to!

Got the matcha latte and it was okay, tasted mostly of milk but the syrup was really good and fragrant. They also seemed a little understaffed as there was a bit of a wait to get my order taken. Overall, the ambiance and space was really nice and seems like a great place to come work or study.

good coffee! plenty of parking out front. a couple 2-seater tables outside. more seating inside. recommend!

Bring your personal cup for a discount on your order!

This my new favorite coffee shop! I'm not super picky so I feel like I'm not the best to give recommendations but I have absolutely zero complaints! My go to is an iced latte with simple syrup and it is perfect every time. I started bringing my own cup too, and it turns out you receive a discount doing so which is really cool! The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. There are usually patrons when I stop by and it seems like they all love the coffee! There was a coffee sampling this morning too and it was well received! I only stop by to get my drink to go, but there are a decent amount of tables inside, brightly lit, and a couple outdoor tables with dog water bowls. I'm already a regular and I don't think that will change any time soon!

The service was good. However that's all I can say. It was very tidy and the coffee and pastry was bland.

PARKING There's slim spaces of parallel parking in front of the building, but to the street to the left (Pierce Dr.) there's more free spaces. II. SERVICE The barista making the latte art is talented! This is one of the slim cafes in Atlanta and the surrounding area that uses glassware, elevating the experience. There's outlets throughout the cafe and a self-service water station. III. QUALITY All of the coffee I've tasted has been dense in flavor. Great craftsmanship. IV. CAPACITY Seating is quite limited with how in demand this location is. I went around noon on a week day and got lucky to find a spot. I can imagine weekends are even busier; I recommend visiting on a work day.

The space is open, airy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the seating layout. There's actually room to breathe. You're not crammed next to other tables or accidentally overhearing your neighbor's entire life story. Some cafes feel packed like sardines, but Kin does it right. They even have a cozy living-room style seating area that adds to the relaxed vibe. There's also outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a beautiful day. The latte I ordered was divine- smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. As someone who loves good latte art, Kin's baristas absolutely deliver. We were served the most beautiful swan latte art, which made the experience even better. Totally brewtiful! Everyone in our group loved their drinks. One friend mentioned their strawberry matcha is amazing, so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. Another thing I loved: they showcase work from local artists that's displayed and available for purchase. Love, love, love when cafés support local creatives. They also offer a few pastry options that could pair nicely with your drink. Will have to try that next time My only wish? That they stayed open later because I could easily see myself hanging out here all the time. If you appreciate great coffee, good and chill vibes, and cafes that really know their craft, definitely check out Kin Coffee. They even roast their own beans, which makes it a true coffee lover's spot.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

It even has managed to impress friends who don't adventure too far outside of their own American culinary tastes. The sweets here are the perfect amount of sweet. The savory items also contain a perfect hint of sweetness that somehow ties it all together. I've even had a matcha (less sugar) made here and my God it was unexpectedly delicious. I usually spend about $20-ish and share my bag full of goodies with my folks. I love that you can get a lot with a little -- the dollar still stretches here! Sometimes their open hours are a bit off, as if been before during regular hours and they've been closed. I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by. The cherry on top is that the service is truly phenomenal. I love being greeted where I spend money, and the guy who frequently mans the cash register has such great energy. He's efficient as hell too! When I visited, he skipped through the tipping portion of the POS both times... so I'm not sure if they accept tips but I won't complain too much about that LOL. Go!!!

Dumpling Master in Chamblee, GA Handmade Chinese Soup…read moreDumplings Spot Everything we tried: Pork soup dumplings -- recommend Juicy soup inside, and the skin is slightly thick with a little chew. I recommend dipping them in their house-made dumpling sauce or black vinegar. They also have other meat options. Har gow (shrimp dumplings) Filled with shrimp paste, bamboo, and dried scallops, has a stronger seafood flavor compared to traditional ones. Pan-fried pork & chive dumplings Crispy on the outside, and you can tell the skin is handmade. The filling is very juicy and lightly seasoned, more of a homemade style. Beef fried noodles -- recommend Yellow egg noodles with black pepper beef and vegetables. Savory with a nice peppery and wok flavor. Chili oil wontons Appetizer with shrimp and pork filling, topped with chili oil and dumpling sauce. Szechuan spicy chicken Spicy with a slight numbing kick, best paired with rice. The place itself is located on a side street and there's plenty of parking. There's also parking in the parking structure that is attached to a apartment complex as well. There's also a little back alley that you can park at too, there's ample parking, let's just say that LOL. The place itself is very clean and everybody is really friendly. They have the robot come and bring your food but you will still interact with the staff and they are pretty nice and very pleasant. Street parking Pork and chive dumplings - So the dumplings were really really good. I got them pan fried and they came out tender and yet crispy. The flavor was crazy, and the dumpling sauce was exceptionally good to me as well. I would 100% order these again. Chicken noodle soup - The soup was just okay. I had to do a little doctoring and I tried to get it where I needed to but it was decent but it was a little bit on the bland side. I ended up putting more of the wonton sauce in there to give it a little Tang and a little kick, as well as putting some chili oil in it as well. After that, it started working out pretty well. But on his own, it was decent but it wasn't good out of the box. Pork wonton with chili sauce - So this is kind of like my guilty pleasure. I love chili wontons. With this order you got a lot of them, and the sauce was on the plate and drizzle throughout the dumplings as well. Well so you got flavor at every turn. These were great! Szechuan spicy chicken - Pork soup dumplings - The soup dumplings were pretty good. To me. They weren't better than the chili wontons but they were still good and had a nice bit of flavor to them. The broth in them was tasty, but that kind of overtook meat inside. The broth was so flavorful that you didn't really, really know if you were eating chicken or pork or whatever. But nonetheless, it was still good and you got a nice bitter than for the order. I enjoyed the establishment. Their wontons are really nice sized and they are packed with flavor. I would not go back for the soup or the ramen bowl that they have but I would definitely go back to order five more orders of everything else lol.
