They also offered a car for me to use while they had my car however I opted to pay for a rental car (8 days). After further discussion, they refunded the full amount I paid for the services they provided ( diagnosis, parts and service) Although the diagnosis did not end up being correct in my case, I appreciate that management stepped in, listened, and made things right financially. I'd recommend clearly documenting symptoms and expectations up front, and I do acknowledge their willingness to resolve the situation professionally in the end.

This was clearly caused by their negligence and I had a kid in my car who was very scared.
