My post is going to be mostly complaints...but the pizza is good. If you read other reviews of this location, they will talk about customer service and competence of the front-end staff. Those issues have merit. So much of a diner's experience comes down to the impact of management. Lucy's would be better off if it were take-out only. The 30 mins I was there I didn't see one employee tend to a table or clean, anything. They had time to yak and come out to get re-fills at the fountain. The last few times I've ordered, the girl at the register is minimally capable and it affects the experience. Why don't I just get it to go? Because real pizza eaters understand the experience is not the same once the pizza hits the box. The pizza consistency is linear. Good, not great. Thin, floppy the larger the size. The small salad was $4+. Not worth the value. The cleanliness is bothersome. It's happening to most businesses. Employees don't know how to clean and they don't want to. Managers don't want to manage...that. It could change in a day if the manager wanted, or cared. read more

It's time to "fuggedaboutit"--and yes, I'm talking about this restaurant. Last week they delivered a pizza that was cold and burnt on the bottom. This time, I can hardly believe they even put it in a box (see picture). I'd consider eating there, but the tables are never clean and the staff comes off as indifferent. To make matters worse, they start asking everyone to sit on one side of the restaurant hours before closing--while all the tables are still dirty. The saving grace used to be the pizza--it was genuinely delicious. Now that's gone downhill too... so yeah, I'm officially at "fuggedaboutit." Service is way too slow. It shouldn't take 35 minutes for 2 slices especially if I'm coming in when it's slow. If service consistently takes this long, this business will go under. I love the food here, please do better. read more

Came here on a busy Friday night. They said the wait would be up to 40 minutes but it didn't seem that long. Tried their wings with 2 different sauces. The honey garlic was way too salty but the sweet chili had good notes of sweetness and not at all spicy. They have good prices on their salads and daily specials. I tried the gluten free crust and it was very good. The crust held up the toppings & stayed crispy which doesn't happen often with gf flour. I would come here again. read more

The pizza is absolutely amazing I highly recommend it. I get it delivered every week and it never disappoints.

Nice atmosphere. Smelled amazing when we walked in, how I want a pizza place to smell, ya know? Let's start with the good. The food was great. We got a buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, garlic bread and buffalo wings. Everyone said that what they got was really good. I tried everything but the wings and it was all amazing. That buffalo chicken pizza just might be my favorite pizza. Now the area of opportunity. The service. The two girls that were at the registers knew nothing about the menu as we asked about a topping on the pizza. It was called something strange and we asked what it meant, neither had any idea nor did they offer to find out. They just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't know what it was. Ok, whatever. Then when our buzzer went off I went to the counter and half of our order was there. I stood there for a minute to see if the rest of the order came up....of all the people working there none of them ever acknowledged that I was standing there. I took the couple of items back to our table. Our buzzer did go off a few minutes later for the rest of the order. I called a "thank you!" Over the counter to the guys working the kitchen area (which were about 10-15 feet from me) not a single one acknowledged me. As we were leaving one of the female employees walked past a couple of times, nothing. Not a thanks for coming in, have a good night, nothing at all. The service part might not be a big deal to some, but I'm huge on good customer service. If this was my place my customers would be greeting people, know the product and just be friendly with people. Thank them for spending $72 on pizza at our restaurant and not somewhere else. All in all, I'm not sure if we'll be back. The pizzas good, but there are other good pizza places around too. For the price we paid I at least want to feel welcome like they want you to eat there. read more

My wife and I love Lucy's... LOVE LUCY'S!! If you don't like New York style (thin crust) pizza, then move along, but if thin crust is your thing, then Lucy's is your place! We usually get an 18" Margherita and 18" Pacific on Friday or Saturday, then enjoy it through the weekend. What are the highlights? Great ingredients, great sauce, and perfect dough/crust. Seriously, a great pie starts with the crust, and theirs is, as I said, perfect. Crisp, crunchy, slight char... just the way it should be! That, combined with the sauce and toppings, it's almost a transcendent experience. :) I've had their meatball, and it's also fantastic. Any pizzeria who will willingly convert cheese pizza into margherita pizza for me is a yay in my book. Good service, huge slices of pizza, and nice decor. Sad to see it so empty when I came in but that's COVID for you. Perhaps the only tragedy of the place is the awesome, flashy sign over the bathroom stalls, of all places. If I wanted a burned pizza then I would have made it myself. Noah, the pie maker burns the pizza. When I questioned him about it he said "that's the way it's suppose to be". I asked him to make me another pizza and it was done in about 5 minutes. When I brought it home the dough was raw. As a New Yorker this is NOT how a NY pizza is "suppose to be". There should be oil dripping off the slice when folded. When you fold the slice it should not crack. Also, the oven is not cleaned very often. Wish the owner would go to NY and see and taste how a real NY pizza is done. Also, the prices are very high for a pizza. read more

As a New Yorker I can say that Lucy's is not very good anymore. I came here all the time in high school, and I used to love it, but everything has gone down hill. The restaurant not only upped their prices from $2 a piece to $4 but they no longer offer keep up with traditions that made Lucy's feel like family. They no longer offer olives and bread, or plates and napkins. They have also gotten rid of their wait staff, so now everything is more to go. Their cashiers has been mean the last two times I'm been in. Not greeting or knowing anything about their menu. Lastly, the restaurant needs some refreshing. I tried Lucie's on a bit of a whim and I liked it. They offer a generous slice with a thin crust and plenty of toppings. The crust is more chewy than crispy lounge for the New York style fold over that we love. If anything, there was actually just a little bit too much cheese (I don't think I've ever said that before) and mine was topped with two large slices of raw tomato and a little basil. Overall, it was a great slice and I would certainly go back when in the area. read more

Lucy's is still here years later, which shows that the restaurant is doing something right. I'm typically a thick-crust guy, so I go for the Bronx cut, which makes these pies more chewy and just how I like em. I've been going to Lucy's often, since it first opened. The pizza is great. Every once in a while, the bottom of the crust gets way over baked (burnt). It's more of a serve yourself, fast food, sit down restaraunt, now. (I miss having a waiter or waitress). My biggest complaint is the dining room is always too cold. I don't wear coats, and don't get cold easily, but my friends and I all get too cold in there, and so does my pizza. Maybe bump the thermostat up a bit (ok, a lot) so the customers are comfortable. read more

It's been awhile since I've been back here, but it's worth stopping by if you want some great pizza or subs. We ordered half supreme and half zestpian (my favorite) with extra zestpian sauce on the side to dip, a CCBLT sub, and firesticks. I can't do spicy, but the firesticks buffalo sauce was awesome, especially when you dip it in the zestpian sauce. The zestpian pizza is completely loaded. They did mess up on the supreme, so they ended up bringing out another pizza on the house. My son was very happy with the CCBLT sub, there was nothing left. My other son ate almost all the firestick. I love that they bring out olives and pickles on the house as a appetizer while you wait for your order. The service was stellar, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our server was there exactly when we needed something or when he was bringing out our food. They social distance tables and follow all other current guidelines, next time you are looking for pizza, subs, calzones, even wings try this place! read more

I hadn't noticed this place before and happened to be in the area so we stopped in for lunch. I'm so glad we came. We had the friendliest waitress. The pizza was so delicious. We went away from our normal selection and picked the pizza with a kick. It had jalapeños, ham and pineapple. I can't recall the name. I will be back to get it again. Great spot. This place is AWESOME. Not easy to find Slice places in Utah County, and this place has great slices, HUGE pepperoni on their pizzas too. Their Monday-Wednesday deal of $2 slices is awesome, and you don't need to order ahead, you just show up and they're there, and the slices are huge. 2 is plenty to get full. The place is always clean, always a crowd here too so you know that's a another good indicator of how good it is. The Zespian is our favorite pizza in town. But the service is terrible. Last time we ordered a pizza online the site said it would be an hour wait. When we picked it up we found they had made it as soon as we ordered it and it sat there for 45 minutes. Today we ordered a pizza and again it said it would be ready in an hour. We showed up after 30 minutes because we were worried the pizza would be sitting there like last time. The person at the register asked the kitchen if it would be ready soon and let us know it would be 15 minutes. We were happy to wait since we knew we were early. While we sat we listened to Wes, who appeared to be the manager, complain about us by name being early to pick up our pizza. He also talked bad about another person who was given the wrong pizza and asked for the correct pizza to be made. He told them they would have to wait at least 40 minutes. He was also rude to several of the employees working there. I included a photo of my view from the bench I sat on waiting for my pizza to be made. So gross. Great Pizza - Just don't tip! It's amazing how the little things make the biggest difference. In this case, $.35 worth of ranch dressing made all the difference. Let me explaine. Let's set the table - Dine in order. Meaty pie, a Vegitarian pie, salad, and drinks. About $50 total. Food - Salad and pizza were great. Flavorful, lots of toppings, and the pizza wasn't too hot so I could start eating immediatly. The salad was fresh and the salad toppings were just right. Drinks - I love the fact that they have the fountain machine open. I can switch sodas and drink as much as a want. Thanks for this. Service - Everyone was friendly, one of the guys came out and checked on us, the staff seemed like they were having a good time making NY Style Pies. SO WHY NOT TIP? I normally don't tip at a new restaurant where there is no waiter, we get our own plates, walk up and pick up our food when it's ready, and then clear our own table. But tonight I was feeling generious so I left a tip while paying for my meal - 20%. When the salad came out, it had a 2 oz cup of ranch dressing - not enough for two people with a large salad. So my wife went up to the counter to get a second 2oz container of ranch dressing. The employee tells her it will cost $.35. Really??!! I just purchased $50 worth of food and left an $8 tip and I can't even get an additional 5-cents worth of dressing??!! My wife comes back to the table and asks for $.35. - All I have is a $20, so I send that up with her knowing that anyone with half a brain will not break a $20 for such a small amount and will just give her the dressing. WRONG! She came back with $19.65. I'm seriously blown away at this ridiculous policy and stingy approch to serving food. Moral of the Story - Go to Lucy's. Enjoy the food. But when they ask for a tip - just say no and save your money for the extra ranch dressing you are going to need for your salad. read more

Ordered two pies and wings. Ordered a meat lovers and a MARGARITA. Drive 30 mins home to find I got a cheese pie instead of margarita (delta was $4). Called back to get a refund. They offered to give me the right pie. I explained I live 30 mins away. The girls kept saying "so what's the issue?" I said I'm not driving back so I'd at least like to be refunded the difference if you aren't going to give me a refund. She said the manager is too busy to do that. I asked for her name. She hung up. Called back thinking she didn't hear me. I could hear voices in the background when I asked for her name again. She hung up again. Love the pizza here! Perfectly thin, greasy in the best way possible, a huge hit with everyone in our family. It's on the expensive side so we don't go too often but great to get every once in awhile. They also run regular deals and specials so we jump on those. read more

Lucy's pizza is delicious! The New York style thin crust is cooked perfectly and you can get a thicker crust if you prefer it that way as well. Their pepperoni pizza pairs perfectly with their creamy house ranch and their Buffalo wings have an excellent breading with a sauce that is tangy yet not too spicy. There are a few things I would change if I could about Lucy's- there is a consistent and troubling smell inside the restaurant that keeps me from dining inside and I wish they wouldn't nickel and dime you for a side of ranch. That being said, their service is timely and friendly and I love their freshly made pizzas so I'll keep coming back! read more
