Instead of politely correcting it like a normal, respectful server would, the staff laughed, repeated it back in a mocking tone, and made jokes to each other about it. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. What made it worse was that this behavior clearly wasn't happening to other customers. The difference in treatment was obvious, intentional, and disgusting. No one tried to apologize or fix the situation--if anything, they seemed amused by it. We didn't feel welcome, respected, or safe staying there, so we left before ordering. No food is worth being disrespected over, especially for something as small as mispronouncing a drink name. Not knowing I'm Creole not Spanish. If you're Black or care about basic human decency, I'd strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Racism has no place in any restaurant, and this place clearly hasn't gotten that message.
