Beautiful area! Wonderful selection of snacks, food, cold/hot beverages, fully stocked bar, & desserts. Clean is an understatement. Immaculate bathrooms with shower available. Office area separate from the rest of the lounge for privacy. Great view and worth a visit!

    International flights section. Nice buffet.

Refurbished some time ago this lounge offers everything you could expect from a Star Alliance Silver Lounge. As this is one of Lufthansa's major hubs, expect it to be huge - so huge that at peak times it appears to be crowded, but you will still find a place to sit. I like the local Bavarian flavor of the snacks they offer. Still not standard everywhere: you get free WiFi.

Managed to catch cold for the few minutes I was outside getting off plane onto bus that transports us to terminal. Clearly I was under dressed. All that to say have my tea with lemon and my vodka tonic with lemon. food is typical of all the Lufthansa lounges. Lunch meat tomatoes and cucumber. Drink and wine available of course. So that is always a good thing. This airport also offer showers but no private resting rooms. At least not the lounge I'm in for terminal H. Not sure of others. There is also international newspapers, yogurt, espresso machine. Place stays very quiet so one is able to catch a quick nap if they can get comfortable in the chairs. Plugs for charging everywhere

A good place to stay while you are in transit or waiting for your delayed plane. I give three stars though due to the fact that food variety is very poor, usually there is Leberkäse (which is good), soups and pasta. These are warm dishes where when it comes to cold apetizers it comes with kartofelsalad, cucumbers, olives and some other small stuff. Of course there are sweets and pasteries that you can try (pretzels especially - but you have to put your butter inside). There is a lot of alkohol though, whisky including Grants and some other irish ones. Standard variety of alkohols + biers and sodas, you won't be disappointed in this department. Internet is free and there are electrical outlets everywhere. Couches are very used.

This lounge is nicer and far more spacious than the lounge in Frankfurt. A major reason to connect through Munich if possible....

I was fortunate enough to spend some time in the business lounge twice while connecting through Munich.

Meh, this is an average looking lounge. Definitely not as nice as other lounges that I've been to…read morewith the priority pass. Sofas are pretty dirty. There's not a lot of food here. Mostly little snacks like pretzel, biscuit, cupcake, olives, tomatoes, yogurt, potato chips, chocolate. There's a coffee machine that can also make lattes/macchiatos/espresso etc. Soda and water. There isn't any food that you can make a meal out of. I don't really recommend going out of your way to come to this lounge unless you have alot of time to waste or really wanna get away from the regular people. TIP: This lounge is located in terminal 1. If your flight is at terminal 2, there's a bus that connects you between the terminals. Bus comes every 15 minutes. If your flight is at terminal 2, You can access the Atlantic Lounge by going through the terminal 1, gate C (business/priority security line (not the regular line)). You have to tell the security guy you want to go to Atlantic lounge because the computers will reject your boarding pass. Once you go through security check and immigration, and find the lounge, the bus that transports you back to terminal 2 is only about a 5 minute walk away from the lounge. On the bus, it's like another 5 minute ride to the terminal 2. Give yourself extra time to travel to your gate! My flight was at terminal 2 gate L25. Even after I got off the bus, I had to take another shuttle to my gate.

This lounge isn't in the same universe as a five star lounge, but I thought that it was an…read moreexcellent escape from the chaos of the Munich airport. The elevator for it is somewhat hidden. It's behind a cage built by Camel cigarettes to capture smokers. Or else it's just an enclosed room for people to smoke in. Either way look for the giant camel statue. The lounge itself is just a single room with some sofas and chairs. The food at hand was snacks such as muffins, pretzels, and fruit. There was alcohol and soda available also. They also have an automated machine for coffee or hot chocolate. You're not going to get a full meal here but I was happy to get some fruit and water without having to pay for it in a gift store. We were able to relax here for an hour before heading back to the states. It made a long day of travel more bearable.

Our flight was around 9:30pm (the last BA flight out of Munich). Bear with me, but this fact is…read moreimportant to this review. After an extremely lengthy immigration and security process, we were able to get into the lounge by 8:30pm. We had left our hotel at 6:30 pm and in the middle of all the sightseeing we had not taken a break for lunch or dinner (just coffee & a sandwich on the go). So we were hungry & a bit on edge. It was a bit of a maze to locate the lounge, but the staff at the desk were extremely welcoming and friendly. The problem was when it came to the refreshments. The coffee machine was great & we had some wonderful coffee, there was a pretty decent alcohol selection, but we don't drink before & during flights. It was the food that was woefully inadequate. There were a few crumbling sandwiches, some so called spicy chicken and a potato snack option. Both were cold, hard, dry and tasteless. There was one packet of crisps left, which I picked up and we ate that and a tiny pot of ice cream and sipped on our coffee. We watched them clear up all the tables at 8:40 and thought that they would bring out some fresh hot food. It was only at 9:00 that we realised that they were cleaning up in anticipation of closing down. This was too late for us to even consider visiting another eatery in the airport. The problem was that by the time we reached London T5 and cleared immigration it was 10:30 and the only option at T5 on arrival is Costa which I definitely did not want. Too late to order delivery once we got home too. So we had to be content with instant noodles. If you are hungry when you arrive at Munich airport (Budget at least one hour for the queues, even if you are a gold card holder or flying Business class), don't bother finding the lounge, but eat at one of the restaurants immediately after you are through. If you just want a quiet place to sit down and sip on a drink, only then head to the BA lounge.

In light of recent improvements, I have upgraded my review of this lounge from "crummy" to "shabby…read moregenteel". Congratulations, BA!
