I wasn't exactly feeling like being a tourist with my luggage at this hour. I ate a decent sandwich at airport. I then hailed a taxi to get to the hotel. I walked in and was greeted by a sweet woman. I started off my saying that my check-in time was later in the day. She did a check to see whether my room was ready. It was! I can't tell you how relieved I was. My room rate was 94€ a night (corporate rate), which comes with wifi. I got a comfortable room. It's minimalistic in design, but it was perfect. My visit to London came in handy. Use one of your room keys to insert it in the slot next to the door. It provides electricity to your entire room. My bed was comfortable. The small tube TV worked nicely. The shower's water pressure was decent. My room was made every day. I tried taking a brief nap on my first day, but it didn't pan out. Instead, I took a walk around the area to figure out where things were and came back. There isn't much open on a Sunday in this area. Instead, I headed to the hotel restaurant downstairs for an early dinner. It was happy hour. I ordered a mojito, which was refreshing and yummy. I also ordered dinner, which consisted of weiner schnitzel, a side salad, and bread to start. The potatoes that accompanied the schnitzel were incredibly good. The schnitzel was good too. There was more breading on it than I had liked. Otherwise, it was delicious! The side salad was yummy. I liked how fresh it was. I ended dinner with a cup of tea. So good. The room rate comes with breakfast. Let me say that breakfast was amazing! The catch? You need to check in at the restaurant and say your name and room number. The folks take breakfast attendance. At breakfast, you have a choice of bagged or looseleaf tea. For the latter, there were at least twenty different varieties. I was in heaven! The variety of breakfast items was fantastic. It even had soy beverage in little boxes. I'd have one for breakfast and take one to work. So good. This borderline lactose-intolerant gal says thanks! I loved the blueberry crepes, sausage, baked beans, ... everything! I'm glad that I stayed here. I had to ask to borrow a converter, as mine had died. The person at the front desk was kind to lend me one, as I needed it for work. I returned it on my last day, after work. On Friday, I left my luggage at the front desk. I came back at around 2 pm to pick it up and returned the converter. I then asked for the complimentary shuttle bus, which the helpful woman at the front desk did efficiently. Should I need to revisit Frankfurt for work, I'd stay here again. (11)

I guess Germans like their beds firm. But, they give you two comforters, so just lay on top of one and you get a little more cushion. Breakfast buffet is a must. Lots of options, ranging from deli meats and cheeses, hot eggs and blueberry pancakes, sausages (of course) and potato pancakes, mueli, fruits, veggies, yogurts, tons of pastries, and smoothies. Wi-fi was free in our rooms, but limited to 3 devices. And you had to keep randomly logging in, which was a pain. But there was also free wi-fi in the lobby, which I think you could still access from your room. Airport shuttle is free and super convenient. Overall, a good quality hotel with helpful staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was always clean and the shower was spacious. Yes, it's a bit noisy of a location, but that was expected given the proximity to the city center and after the first night or two we were used to the noise. The only thing we wish we could change would be to have the ability to adjust the room temperature. The only way to make the room cooler was to open the window which sometimes led to the room being too cold given we were traveling in December and January. Overall, extremely happy with our stay!

But there is nothing special that would justify 5 stars. I reduced the rating by another star because of the special Charme of the bathroom. The walls are fully covered with plastic. Therefore it seems like something as in mobile homes, trains or airplanes. It is clean, no question, but not very comfortable.
