Louis and sons worked very hard on a house we were selling in Arcadia. They are very friendly and communicative and really took a lot of effort to clean very difficult windows. They could not get off years old hard water stains, as they said a special chemical is needed that they do not have access to. They requested a little extra money at the end due to some extra work they did. I normally do not like when companies do this, but it seems justified in this case. I will use them again! These guys are awesome! They came by to do a walk thru as they wanted to give me an accurate quote since I wanted multiple things done (pressure wash, gutters cleaned and indoor/outdoor window washing). They did a walk thru in about 20 minutes and texted me a quote soon after. They came a week later to do the work. They were extremely professional the entire time, wore masks, explained everything to me and when they say any issues they wanted me to be aware of (window issues, broken screens, etc), they let me know right away. They also set my expectations very well with the work. Ie some things they couldn't clean all the way because of a preexisting issue with the window or house. Like always, they do an excellent job on my windows (inside & out). This time, I wanted an exterior power wash plus the washing of my windows and skylights. All cobwebs were removed from every corner and all of my light fixtures too. It's as if the house was given a good old fashioned soap and water bath. I know when it's time for their return when my skylights look hazy, dirty and cloudy (on average about every 4 months). So respectful, kind and thorough are these men! We've never gotten our gutters cleaned before, never thought about it until recently. I found these awesome guys through Yelp with all the good reviews. Sent them pictures and address and they were able to provide an estimate. They came over and took a look and explained the details. They told me the actual price which was cheaper than the estimated they gave me over the phone because it's not a lot of gutters than they expected. How honest is that! Right? They took pictures of before and after of the gutter. Mentioned what's in it. They don't just throw the trash in whatever bin. They do the ethical way. They suggested of different things we can do because there was a crack in our gutter. I had assumed we had couple of cracks in the gutter already because I saw it leak when there's rain. It took less than 45 min. with the whole process. They were efficient and detailed. Provided information that's useful. They didn't come with a big truck or anything which is great so I don't get complaints from neighbors. I didn't have cash and don't know where my check is anymore or if have any, so it was convenient they took Zelle. They are all friendly and hard working. They are saved in my phone, not just saved in favorite in Yelp. Definitely getting my gutters cleaned more often from now on. And definitely would hire them to clean our windows. They made sure everything was clean before they left. I trust these guys for the service. I hate looking around all the time to find an honest, professional, efficient and friendly services. Sadly, I was deeply disappointed with Luis and Sons Window Cleaners. Luis was referred to me so I contacted him about 3 weeks ago and asked for an estimate to clean the windows in my townhouse. I explained that I have a three-story condominium unit in Tarzana, containing 17 windows, some of which are on the third floor, so he would need a long ladder. I told him that the windows had not been cleaned since before Covid. Luis gave me a estimated range of $225-$255, which I agreed to. When he and his son arrived Thursday morning, he looked at the job and increased the estimate to $335. I challenged the increase, reminding him of our earlier conversation, and we negotiated a compromise price of $300. During the job, he and his son repeatedly complained about the difficulty of the job and the hot weather in Tarzana. About 3 hours later, after they completed the job, I inspected his work, only to notice deep scratches on my sliding patio door and shallow scratches on several other windows. These scratches were directly caused by Luis' carelessness and his use of faulty equipment. The rubber blade in his squeegee tool was too short for the tool, allowing the exposed metal edge of the tool to scratch the glass. He pointed out the larger scratch on the door but neglected to tell me about the other scratches. When I complained about the scratches, he said they were all minor and nothing to worry about. I was so frustrated with Luis and the work he did, I decided to pay him just to get him to leave. This was the worst window cleaning experience we have ever had. If I could give him zero stars, I would. read more
