First off, I'll admit I walked into the new Lululemon in Alpharetta thinking it was just a women's athletic clothing store. . .boy, was I wrong! This was my first time shopping here, and I left with a super cute short and hoodie set that I'm already pumped to wear at a 5K work event in April. The store itself is fresh, clean, and stocked to the brim with options. The staff? Absolute gems (this is becoming my catchphrase). They were friendly, helpful, and even tossed out some compliments when I stepped out to show my boyfriend the outfit. After dropping 60 lbs this year (XL to M, woo!), hearing that the fit looked great felt like a cherry on top. I'm already planning to swing back for some longer pants next time. This location was packed with people looking to spend 100s on clothes for working out in! Let's be honest.. most people are wearing them to lounge around the the house, go out shopping, or even go to work in these days. My wife loves these clothes. Comfortable, easy to wear, look good on, they last, and honestly God Bless who ever invented leggings... oh wait... I get it! Duh! Nice store, good people, but busy busy busy! My daughter received a $30 gift card in August for her birthday. It was packaged in an outer envolope and when we opened it, the gift card number and pin smeared on the other side of the packaging. I took it into the store and they told me that they could not help me because 1. it was not purchased at the store, but was 3rd party (mind you everything on the packaging and the actual gift card only say lululemon) and 2. that they didn't have the power and I would need to call customer service. The male cashier suggested I call right there and he would stand by to help....he then promptly walked away and I never saw him on while I was on with customer service for 40 minutes. After explaining to customer service and sending them pictures, they told me that I needed to go back to the person and get their receipt...I told them that was not possbile as my 13 year old got it a few months ago and had been saving it to use it so I was sure they did not have the receipt. Again, they repeated that it was not a lulu gift card where I reminded them that it said lulu all over it. After trying to explain that they already have the money and that I was simply asking for $30, they continued to say that they could not transfer me to anyone else because they didn't have that ability and that the "lulu people" said there was nothing they could do. And then, their customer service told me they were done talking to me and hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. I could not believe that so called customer service hung up on a customer for asking a question. I then called back and the same thing happened. If you call and get Gabriel or Carlos, just hang up because I have never spoken to people so not into Customer Service. Lululemon would rather take $30 from a 13 year old then help a customer. I will be heading to some other store and will never shop at lululemon again. I hope they enjoy the $30. read more

Yikes, their customer service has gone way downhill at this location. Very unaccommodating, they seem rigid and some of them are even rude to their customers. I have personally witnessed and experienced this lately-- especially by some female staff members / managers. It is disappointing when we are all coming in to spend $130+ on a single pair of pants. You'd think they'd be a bit nicer. They should to take a customer service lesson from Chick Fil A and treat their customers with a kinder and more accommodating attitude. read more

Walking in at around 2 pm and as expected the store was virtually empty, which is when I like to shop because you normally get some type of service. Well, not at this Lululemon. There were several employees on the floor shooting the bull and so busy gossiping that I was never even acknowledged. I was practically run over by an employee coming to work his shift while wearing the latest garb, which was met with plenty of "oooh, look at you" and "wear it" comments. Pardon me, I was dressed in yoga clothes having just come from back to back classes. I'm sorry my "Fila" workout wear didn't impress you enough to provide me service. I was prepared to purchase a mat and several articles of clothing today. Good thing I decided to leave so I wouldn't interrupt your social hour. Thanks but no thanks. I'll order online. And people wonder why retail is going down the drain... one star for no service and a second because the store actually had a nice selection. BTW I crossed the street to Fabletics where I was actually offered assistance. Guess where I'll be shopping... Perhaps I'm extra sensitive because I'm in sales myself. This is hands down the best lululemon store I have ever been to and the best part is that it's the one closest to me. I have bought new stuff here, ordered online from here, and done exchange here: everytime the service was great. Great location and a great store. The men's section in Lulu's can be hit or miss in certain areas but not this one. Huge collection of men's clothes and a pretty decent sized sales rack as well. I did not have a problem finding what I needed and I was helped with a fitting room as soon as the employees saw holding the shirt I wanted to try on. The store is not hard to find as it is the first store you'll see if you come through the main entrance. Parking is ample but take note, this is a mall so expect there to be some competition for those spots! This is one of my favorite stores. Will definitely come back! read more

What a beautiful store. Thanks to my friend Tammi D. I was able to attend their Grand Opening store event last Friday. They went all out with catered food & cheese plates and plenty of wine. This store is perfect for the Lululemon enthusiast! They've got all the latest items and accessories. The store layout flows well and is well organized. They have their community board to the right of the entrance as soon as you walk into the store along the wall where the women's apparel starts. They have a very spacious fitting room area with plenty of rooms and tons of full length mirrors at your disposal. The staff here is fantastic. Everyone from the GM to the sales associates are super friendly and approachable. Be sure to check them out if you're shopping in the Avalon area and you won't be disappointed. read more

I just went in there this past weekend and the ladies that help in the dressing room are okay, one of them came to me because I was trying to get a bigger size and I told her size 14 or 16 but they didn't have 16 so I just asked for a 14 and she kept bringing me a 10 and an 8 and I was like really? I mean that seem like she was BODY SHAMING me there. I didn't like that and I felt pretty bummed out. So I didn't even tried on what she brought me, I put my clothes back on and got out of the dressing room and told her that I needed it something different without support, so she did helped me and we found 2 yoga bras that were close to what I was looking for and I tried them on and they felt pretty good so I bought them. I went back to tell her thank you for helping me as she was talking to another customer and she looked at me like " yeah you welcome" I don't know she seem mean but nice at the same time. read more

Previously, I'd had a friend tell me that Lululemon guarantees lifetime quality products. I bought a pair of leggings several months prior that were a size too big, remembered what my friend told me, and went in thinking that I could exchange them for the correct size for little to no charge. On April 7, 2021 around 2 p.m., I asked an educator (she has brown hair, is about 4'11, in her forties) about this policy. She said no, the store does not do that. I said ok and was ready to turn and walk away with no problem, BUT she was standoffish to me when explaining the policy and answered my question in a very roundabout, rude way. Here is the exact dialogue: me: "Hi, can you explain to me a bit about the legging exchange policy that you guys do here?" educator with brown hair: " What legging exchange policy?" (in a snooty tone) me: "I had a friend tell me that Lulu will do a legging exchange if leggings don't fit properly?" her: "noo, we would never do that. I think that's a common misconception that people have." me: "oh, ok. Thank you anyways!" *turns to walk away* her, in the most condescending tone you have ever heard in your life: "I mean, how would we make any money if we just gave people free leggings?" me: "oh, i didn't really ask all that." her: "It sounds like your "friend" has been deceiving a lot of people at Lulu." me: dumbfounded, turns away, grabs my mother, and stomps out of store angrily This back and forth made me feel devalued, dismissed, and most of all criminalized. Surely, won't be visiting the store ever again after this terrible treatment. I am a black female, and I am convinced this incident was racially driven because of the comment about my friend, who I am sure she assumed was also black and stealing from Lululemon. This experience was despicable, and so was her behavior. I will be reporting this to corporate, pronto. read more

Terrific brand new store at the Avalon. Being a die hard runner, I fell in love with Lululemon's products and am somewhat of an addict now. So I was so thrilled to see a store opening closer, so I didn't have to go to Perimeter mall. The store is immaculate, and carries all the good stuff all the other stores have. But since it's part of the Avalon, you can peruse while sipping a glass of wine. Nice perk. Everyone is super friendly, and the manager Robert is terrific. If you've never tried their apparel, I highly recommend it. It not only offers fashion, but function. I am obsessed with their speed shorts and swiftly line. Definitely worth checking out the very cool colors and patterns and looks here. It's not cheap, though, but I can justify the cost because of the quality fabrics and awesome style. read more

so i needed to exchange some pants where the threading had come out so i sent an email to lululemon and they responded saying that i could go to my local lululemon and exchange it there. i called ahead and they said they will put the pants i need on hold and when i got there i would be able to skip the line and exchange them. when i got there i told the person in the front that i had called ahead and stuff and she said no you have to wait in line. the line was like 45 min long and i was not ab to do that. so i called again from somewhere else in avalon and the guy was like sure just come on in. i told this to the lady in front and she was being very difficult and not letting us in. she just said to wait and we waited fo 10 min and nothing happened so we just left without getting my pants exchanged. overall bad experience. read more

So, I used to make fun of my honey for overpriced running gear and her running skirts from LuLu. It was actually an ongoing joke for months UNTIL she purchased a running shirt for me. It was game over after that. I'm a big Mizuno fan and haven't switched from their running line for anybody. However, that first shirt was a breakthrough in how I viewed lulu and high priced gear (Nikes gear is always overpriced and not the greatest quality). The shirt wicks sweat away and stays stink free plus it's comfortable and great for the gym too. I bought my next two long sleeve running shirts from there and LOVE the feel of them (plus the thumb jokes), look of them and style of them. They can be worn for running and for going out. It serves a dual purpose and the price you pay reflects in the quality. You will NOT find better running gear! I was disappointed in their lack of running shorts for men but they had some nice ones in there recently (which I purchased) and are coming out with shorter shorts for racing. Highly recommend their gear! Ask for Robert as well! Love LuLu now! And they brought me closer to my love :). read more

SKIP TO THE LU MY DARLIN! This store carries yoga apparel for men and women. They have everything from shorts, to leggings, tops and jackets in conservative to bright colors. Now while I don't recall specific prices, I know that this clothing line is considered a bit pricey. However, you must consider fit, quality and other factors. If something fits me well, makes me feel good and motivates me to work out, then it is worth the price. Also, quality fitness wear is designed to endure those intense workouts and frequent washings. Also, this is a great store to visit when you want to reward yourself for meeting your fitness goals. You absolutely deserve something special. I was drawn to a little table close to the check out counter. It contained information regarding fitness classes, instructors along with contact information. So if you wanted to take a particular class, (Barre, different types of Yoga), you could pick up the information here. The sales person took time out to approach me, introduce herself and shake my home. She also talked to me about the Yoga Festival that is coming on May 9th. I really appreciate businesses that actually take time to get involved with the community and connect in a meaningful way. It's refreshing. Great customer service! read more

I believe I have officially been and purchased something from every lulu store in atlanta by this point. This store is probably the biggest and nicest of them all. This one also has the most flattering mirrors (anyone else feel like lulus mirrors make you feel fat? lol). The avalon in general feels more upscale so maybe that is why this place feels this way. They have all of the inventory that I usually cant find at other stores (down to the small things like guys headbands). The only con is there isnt a sale section so the sales are just spread across where the rest of the same inventory is. For someone who keeps losing weight and keeps dropping sizes monthly, spending full price dosent really make sense when in a few weeks it will end up in the trash. The customer service here matches the personality of upscale clients (if you understand what this means). In general, great store! read more
