This was, or so we thought a cute shop! The old witch working there was quite nasty about our kids being in the store. After how she addressed us, I asked if she was a 4 year old, of which she replied "no, you are!" I'm pretty appalled a woman of her age would act like an actual child! I love to always support local, and this is the time to do that, but this woman needs to get back on her broom and go back to her dark mean place. What a shame that this is how she conducts herself. Super cute things but the woman working there was a horrible b@@@@ My kids had gelato , and sitting on a hard surface bench right next to the front door, so my gf and I can shop . Gf was looking at a coat and I wanted a $75 sweater but the woman abruptly came up and told us to leave the store and proceeded to be rude and nasty and said she was closing anyway. she was so nasty , and was talking back like a child. Buyers beware! No return policy!! I just purchased 4 items, spending quite a bit of money ($196.00). Although I thought I liked the items, when I got back to Chicago and tried them on, I realized they did not flatter my figure. However, I was not able to return the items for credit, only for exchange. Being that I live in Chicago and am unlikely to visit Galena in the future, I was very disappointed in the policy. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that she was gone for two months. Ugh. Now I am stuck with items that I can't use. I will not return back. I was not told of this policy when I purchased the item. Usually, one is able to return items within a specific amount of time. Buyers beware. read more

Pretty cool store with some unique items at excellent prices. A few items appeared to be bargain basement rejects that looked as though someone got their hands on a beddazzler and went nuts! Overall,some pretty great finds but I can agree with the sentiment that the staff lacks any real customer service to speak of. read more

Really thought it was a cute store young woman working today is in the right profession. Jewelry is priced right & clothing flattering.

At first I thought this store was really cute but BEWARE. The return policy is horrible. I bought something on sale which I guess there are signs they say "all sales final". However, I wore my item once and the zipper is broken. I am 2.5 hours away in Chicago so it's not easy to just walk back in there. Instead I called and was told all sales are final even though my item is DEFECTIVE!! I asked to leave my number for the owner and haven't heard back. Just because it's a small store doesn't mean you have the right to forget about good customer service. Will not be going back to this store on my next trip to Galena! read more

Worst service I have ever experienced in a clothing store. Associate was extremely rude and would not recommend anyone to shop here.

I purchased two pair of boots, a dress and sweater socks I love everything I purchased! The clerk was very helpful in helping me find the right boots for the money I wanted to spend. Great store. I bought a short ruffled skirt there for $40. It's identical to one I saw at a hot boutique in Chicago for triple the price. Lu Lu's has tons of fun clothes at great prices. Can't wait till next visit to Galena to shop there again! read more
