On my initial visit (consultation), Patty, medical esthetician, examined my tattoo on my ankle and estimated how many sessions it would take for results, she thoroughly explained the process and procedures. My first session went well. Prior to receiving laser removal, I met with Dr. Gregory and he numbed the area. After a few minutes, Patty and I wore goggles and she checked to make sure I was completely numbed before lasering away. After it was complete, she applied an ointment and bandage; gave me post-care instructions to take home. At home, I did not blister nor had any scarring whatsoever and my tattoo was slowly fading each day. I learned that staying hydrated helped the lymphatic system flush the ink away. I was able to go about my day as usual except Patty advised at consultation that no suntanning, no use of any self-tanner lotions, etc. is good. Therefore, I had to cover it with a band-aid or long leggings to prevent sun exposure to the lasered area. The second session was the same as the first except I requested to numb the area with an ice pack (to take the edge off) instead of the lidocaine injection and incorporated breathing techniques while receiving the laser removal. On a scale from 1-10, (having a high tolerance for pain) rated the pain level at 3. It felt like a rubber band snapping my skin. The third session is in eight weeks so this review is to be continued w/ before and after pictures. Wished Yelp had TEN stars because that's what I'd rate Sound Tattoo Removal!

The first year I did microblading (very first time, ever). Then I saw the pictures of his clients and realized how much I'd want the shading on for this time (my second time). Microblading is not permanent but does last a year to a couple/few. I was not sure I'd want to have permanent eyebrows as I got older so this option was my preferred. Arriving and setting up the appointment was quick and simple. Hien is explains all of the steps along the way. Be prepared to explain what kind of eyebrows (arch/no arch/ "korean eyebrows"). I've been so happy with mine! :) I'd highly recommend Hien! They are many others who do microblading / shading but the two biggest winning points for me are 1) his work of making eyebrows look very natural (no zebra looking lines, no row of straight lines) and 2) he has also gotten certified in tattoo removal (imagine if you went elsewhere and they screwed up...)

I even asked my point of contact about this exact issue and she assured me this wouldn't happen, but it did! As a busy mom with a young toddler, this is extremely disappointing given that I needed to arrange childcare for my appointment. I requested a refund on my package and wasn't even able to speak to a manager about the situation; they said they'd send an email to someone but there was no guarantee. So disappointing!
