Back in August of 2025 I had an enormous black cherry tree follow my home causing almost $60,000 in damage . I had to have the tree cleared as soon as possible and I unfortunately used another tree company because I was in a pinch . After all of a sudden done we noticed that since that tree fell down there was another rather large tree that was dead and it was threatening my home . I contacted Lumberjacks and Lindsey came out looked at it and gave me an excellent quote that I thought was extremely fair and it was not only for the dead tree but four other surrounding trees as well. I was flabbergasted at the price that I was going to get charged for those trees to get removed and quickly agreed to the contract. Lumberjacks came down and I'm not sure what the Foreman's name is or what I think it's Tyler , but they were here for approximately 1 hour . In that amount of time they've removed five trees had them cut up and put in the back of a giant truck to haul off . They took the time to clean up my property of all the branches and pieces that were left there and they reinstalled my fencing that had to be pulled down for them to get into work on these trees . Again in 1 hour and I think it may have been a little bit less . I cannot express to anybody how professional these people were and how fast they were and how good of a job they did . I truly can't understand how they make the money they do with the prices that they charge because I will use these guys again and again and again so with that said , use Lumberjacks I I I'm not being paid by anybody to write this I just cannot believe how awesome a job they did for me . These guys are great! I own several rental properties in the Chattanooga area and finding reliable contractors is a constant headache. I have hired a so called "pro" to remove a large tree and he left my yard a wreck for over a month telling me he was going to come back and finish the job. When I needed tree work again I called several companies in the area and while Lumberjacks was not the cheapest quote I decided to go with them. I called that morning and told the man I had a few limbs hanging over my roof(which I was about to replace) and had a dead tree in my front yard. He showed up that day and gave me an estimate. He was very helpful showing me several other potential problems that might occur down the road. He also showed me what had killed my tree in the front yard and what I can do to prevent it in the future. I had two other companies give me a quote for the same job. One showed up in an old beat up Honda and the other was a pushy salesman practically demanding that I get a ton of other work done. Feeling comfortable that Lumberjacks was my best choice I called and scheduled the work. Great service from these guys. The cut and stump grinding crews were very professional and polite. We had two trees leaning over our house with a massive amount of vine growth and about 150 feet of old fence, posts, smaller trees and a huge amount of vine weeds (poison ivy implied in the south) along with an ash tree that had tons of dead growth that needed trimming up. The cut crew showed up at 9am and had the entire row cleared out, dead hang in the ash tree trimmed, the waste cleared out and equipment loaded back up by 5 that afternoon. The stump crew was in a week later (we had to schedule them that far out because of work schedules) and had the row ground up and cleaned up in about two hours. Had a pine tree that wasn't looking too healthy. Asked my landscaper about it and he recommended this company. I called them up for an estimate and Tyler came out that day to do a consultation. He was very polite and professional, showing me a long straight wound that ran almost to the top of my tree. He had concluded that the tree had been struck by lightening sometime back and the tree needed to come down( which is also what my landscaper had told me). I never had tree work done before so I wasn't sure what to expect. They arrived around 9am with a few guys and a large crane and had the tree down and finished up by 1pm, leaving my yard looking untouched. Was very happy with their work! read more

Truly amazed by the quality of their work and the efficiency of their crew. Sadly I had to remove a 70+ year old oak tree. It was massive and it was winning the war against my home's foundation. The entire tree was removed from above with a huge crane type vehicle. It was all completed within 5 hours. Simply impressive. Their customer service was outstanding and they were able to get the job a week ahead of the originally scheduled date. On August 19th we had a giant oak tree removed from our property that was between our carport, fence and house. The four men they sent here where all very skilled at what they done!!
