Lesbehonest, I came here because I had a coupon for a free item. We got the free appetizer, but we purchased a plate of kabobs and extras. That coupon brought us in the door and Luna Grill got our business. I'm so glad I'm a sucker for discounts/freebies, because we just had some of the best kabobs we've had in a while. We had the chicken and Beef Filet kabobs with basmati rice, a side salad and spicy hummus. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The meats was juicy and tender, the hummus lightly spicy, served with pita. The gal that took our order was friendly and the guy that cleared our plates was great. I just moved to the neighborhood so I figured I'd check this place out. The service was great. The food took a while to come out, but it was super fresh and super delicious. There was a self serve soda/tea fountain, and they bring your food to your table. I ordered the filet beef kabob and it was great. Multigrain flatbread...A different option. Luna Grill is a great chain with great food. But at this location I tried something new. I ordered our wraps with multigrain flatbread instead of the always reliable pita bread. Was that a mistake? Chicken wrap with multigrain flatbread - I think the chicken works with the wrap format because there was enough flavor there to outweight the blandness of the wrap. I'd rather have real pita bread. Falafel wrap with multigrain flatbread - Didn't care much for their falafel, very dry and crumbly. The bread was dry too so the combination of the two was not very pleasant. . Probably my least favorite item from Luna Grill Summation - Just get the damn real pita bread! Their flatbread tasted like that Matzo cracker stuff. Tip - If you want great falafel go to Crossroads Deli in the UTC area. They only make them on Friday. read more

do not order the salads as part of your take out order. I've been ordering the Mediterranean salad for the past 4 years. starting in Oct 2023 they have not included the house dressing cup in the salad 80% of the time. when I ask, they correct the mistake quickly. however, I don't usually notice until I'm home at which time I have two uneatable salads. maybe it is new staff not knowing to include the salad dressing, and I totally understand that. it's just been too many times for me to risk it. read more

I have been sleeping on this place! I've always wanted to try it, but I had another Mediterranean restaurant that I favored. But I finally made a visit with my friend on a weekday for dinner. This location is spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service is great. All the staff I've encountered have been really helpful and had a good attitude. I love the variety on the menu because you can get a salad, plate, or wrap. I ordered the *Falafel Wrap (greens, tomato, onion and signature sauces - $9.25) w/ the multigrain lavash (you have the option of pita bread, also). As a side, I've tried both fries and the house salad (greens, tomato, cucumber, red onion, house vinaigrette). The fries are SO good! They're just plain fries but I really don't know what they do. It's perfectly crisp, cut, and addicting. The Falafel Wrap is also such a simple meal but it was delicious! The falafel tasted great and was still warm as I ate it. I ask for the signature sauce on the side. I'm not sure what it is made of and it's not something I was blown away by but it helps make the flavor not so dry. WOW NEVER COMING to this location again!!!!! This was the 3rd and final try. I was kindly given a voucher for a free entree worth 12.25 after receiving an incorrect/messed up order. I was excited to use it. I had not eaten all day and was really stressed out. I suffer from anxiety and it's hard for me to even really go out in public to eat. I am embarrassed to even say that but it is the truth. So I awkwardly get to the counter after the guy in the pink button up shirt gestured for me to order. I just was trying to finish the conversation with my mother about what hummus we were going to be ordering on trio dip. I mentioned I didn't like spicy feta and OH MY GOD THE CASHIER HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY ITS NOT ALWAYS ALL ABOUT YOU. I couldn't believe what he had just said. I quickly panicked and was about to Start crying so I said cancel my order I can't deal with this. And I left. Unfortunately I no longer wanted my food because I now was so upset and crying in my car. My mom waited and insisted on keeping the food. The man did not apologize AT ALL. He just walked away like he did nothing wrong and the poor girl working with him had to help us. She was so kind my mother said. She packaged our food and even gave us some cookies. I'm not sure what happened to the chipotle chicken wrap but it's gone and the regular one is just meh. Not enough sauce on it, kind of dry. Chicken has that burnt texture on the outside. They should have given a side of sauce with the wrap in the to go bag. To go is just not that great, fries were soggy. Been eating here for years but not so much lately. I always get the chicken skewer, but I thought I would try the new garlic chicken. I took 1 piece of chicken and after taking a bite, threw the rest away. It tasted like you actually ate garlic, it was terrible. My friend tried a piece too, and he didn't like it either. I did end up throwing the rest away, it was so bad. I would have given it less than1 star but the rice and salads are always good. Generally this location is OK, not as good as Scripps Ranch, but more convenient to us. Last night was an exception. We ordered a family meal in person and were the only ones ordering at the time. Only 2 tables occupied. Guy said 15 minutes so we sat down to wait. Others came, ordered, and went. 25 minutes later we walked up to the counter... what gives? The guys in the kitchen seemed to be purposely stalling. Doing nothing. Literally, just standing still. The guy that took the order was begging them--I need those chicken dinners! They just stared back at him, did nothing, shrugged their shoulders. We have no idea what was going on, but we were stuck in the middle of it. Very disappointing. The gyros meat was dry like jerky. The gyros wrap is with kale which seemed greasy like fried. Found out it's tossed in oil. Why??? Asked to sub for lettuce. They said they don't have lettuce. What? Then asked if I wanted a salad or fried. What is the salad made of? Lettuce. And why can't you put it on my gyros wrap??? The lady was kind enough to give me a "salad" so I could remake my pita wrap. The fries were delicious, but it was very disappointing that they no longer have sweet potato fries. Lots of changes, but not for the better. Soo sad. Loved this place and now ... just say I won't be back. Very disappointed with my last visit. Placed an online order and at pickup was notified one of the main items was unavailable. I asked them to substitute a different item (the only other my wife likes from there) and was notified the $2 upgrade was too much. I could understand if it was my mistake, but they were the one out of an item. We typically order from this location twice a month. As they made it clear our business is not worth a small amount of customer service, we will take our orders to a different place. read more

We are visiting and have been here several times before. Today there were several order errors. Daughter's bowl wrong. My vegan bowl had cheese and falafel were hard as a rock on the outside. Disappointed but will try again some other time. May be an off day today. read more

Great food, a feel it's quite a bit pricy for what it is though I suppose you're paying more for the atmosphere being able to order wine or something - I always order pick up to go though. Really good portion sizes - BUT I Really despise that they charge anywhere between 50¢ & $1.50 for the tiny ketchup packet sized plastic containers of sauce that many places have either self serve, or additional available at no charge - disappointing at this price point nonetheless & my only major dislike about the place. Especially at this price point, really? Super bummed that the last 2 times I was here, the first put bread in a kids order I specifically said no bread with this - gluten allergy & when I pointed it out at pick up - she opened the container & picked it out, reclosed & back in the bag. Thanks, he still can't eat it now. I know that is NOT proper protocol. The last time (ordered specifically to NOT have anything where bread was included where I had to specify NOT to include it as not to have a repeat of last time) watched the girl packing my pick up order - DROP one of those 'paid extra for' containers of sauce - ON the floor by the registers, like 3 feet away from me, pick it up, audibly snap the top back on & vaguely look at her nearby coworkers to see if they saw what she was about to do (but not me, the paying customer - standing RIGHT there) & toss it in my bag! GROSS! I said "Excuse me - was that not just on the floor?" She said "it didn't open" & digging in my bag "idk which one it was now, Sorry!" While handing my bag over. Wow. Clearly best practices in food prep & sanitary measures should be reiterated to the current staff - this was all within the last 2 weeks as I used to order 1-2x weekly. She offered her suggestions and spent 10 minutes on the phone with me just going through what was best to order for my last minute party! I ordered 3 modern Greek sandwiches one salmon plate and a kids chicken. The three modern Greek wraps were so small and two of them had no chicken. I eat Luna two to three times a week so I know how the sandwich is supposed to be made. I talked to the manager and he said let me see what I can do. He came back with a couple gift cards to use for the next time. Im very disappointed that i didn't get replacements. We left the restaurant hungry. Sure it was around closing time 8:59 I'm sure they were able to make three modern Greek wraps with chicken. Now for the kids chicken and fries, they gave my daughter the left over fries from the fryer that were all burnt and small. The salmon plate was made perfect. Just got to use those (at the Temecula location) and the service, accuracy of order and taste/quality were on point! Way to redeem yourself, LG. ;) [it does sound like the poway location still needs to check their orders for sauce/dressing etc!] My first time having Luna grill and I was so excited but sadly, disappointed! I ordered to go but was actually prepared for dine-in (no matter- I noticed the mistake and brought to their attention). Whether that affected the quality or time I don't know, but, I waited literally 17 minutes for a chix kebab plate, didn't get the chipotle hot sauce I requested, barely any tzatziki in my ramekin, chicken was over cooked and everything was just bland. We went towards the end of the night and should have known better than to order gyro meat. Alas, we did, so the Mediterranean salad I ordered, which otherwise would have garnered a 4 or 5-star rating, plummeted to 2 stars. Likewise, but more so, in my husband's case, since he ordered a gyro wrap and didn't have lots of other flavors to balance the dish. The meat was dry and shriveled and really disappointed us. Everything else was great. The a/c was blasting (yay for cooling mechanisms!) the restaurant was clean and quiet (unlike the first place we stopped, which was loud and cluttered) and the rest of the food was really good. I actually ordered the Modern Greek Salad, but the kitchen made a mistake. I didn't realize it until I tasted the Mediterranean salad, but since I enjoyed what was served to me, I told them it wasn't necessary to make my original order. Since that was my choice and they offered to fix it, I haven't deducted points for the error. The Mediterranean salad comes with couscous, tomato, cucumber, olives, onion, mint, parsley, feta and, of course, mixed greens. It was dressed well- not too strong or weak. It was delicious without the shoe leather. The pita served on the side was warmed and soft. Parking is easy peasy in the large lot, and if you're looking for something to do before or after dinner, there's always Target. We considered having dessert at Cold Stone, but on an exceptionally warm summer Saturday evening, the place was too crowded to bother. We bought some butter pecan ice cream at Target instead; I know I'm not reviewing that, but it is very good for a house brand!
