Upon arrival in store, I was greeted promptly and given a bottle of water by the owner. Afterwards, my stylist, Kiarra, took great care of me and did a wonderful job on the highlights in my hair! The color was matched perfectly to the reference pic I showed her. She was super gentle and detailed throughout all stages. Also, since I'm a perfectionist she helped me with some touch ups and was very thorough in helping catch any places that needed additional fixing. I love that she was super empathetic and understanding about getting every single hair detail just right until I was satisfied (I've definitely noticed other stylists in the past seeming annoyed about fixing up and redoing an area)! They were also able to accommodate me after work same day and gave me some recommendations on products and extensions! Really loved coming here! I called today at noon in hopes of getting an appointment for a blow dry and was surprised to get an appointment at 1:00pm with Marci. I walked in at two minutes 'til and Marci got me right in. Shane started with a consultation, asking what I was looking for and his thoughts on what might fit my lifestyle best. After shampooing/conditioning my hair, making the cut, and styling it, my hair was nearly 6 inches shorter, now resting neatly at my shoulders. Even though I walked in unsure of what I wanted, Shane was able to make my hair look incredible in under an hour while making good conversation. Upon leaving, I received a "goody bag" of business cards, a pen, magnet, and even a 20% off coupon for my next visit! Recently I had a negative experience, but the manager at West Chester has truly done everything in her power to fix the stylists mistake. I am so thankful for the amazing customer service I have received since. Long story short, I had a stylist over process my hair to the point at which it was falling out. I was devastated, not only did I have to cut off 5 inches of my hair (Instead of the original plan of 2inches) my hair was fried and breaking close to the root. I immediately requested a refund! So I'm sure your wondering why I've chosen to give this location 4 stars. Well, after my experience, one of the managers called me and not only offered me services to fix the damage at no cost, but also created a care package (at no cost) of the full Oribe haircare line to work on fixing the damage! These products are amazing and very expensive and I was so appreciative that she has taken the time to fix a mistake one of her (former) stylists made. Although I'm devastated that my hair experienced such trauma- I'm also so grateful for the management for working with me constantly to bring my hair back to life.

I am somewhat of a problem client with a variety of hair loss/thinning issues but also have very thick course hair. I also have some sensitivities to hair color. I tend to burn through stylists looking for someone that has the ability to alter my cut based on density differences and widows peak with very little forehead. I am also very picky - like OCD picky. If the smallest of points is left in my hair I will absolutely know it. This is particularly a problem with people with thick hair. CARLEY is one of their star stylists with long thick hair herself - she knows first hand the problems with cutting thick hair, losing your guide and texturing nightmares. She does a great job and has a super sweet personality to go with it. She also does extensions! I have also gone to STEPHANIE quite a lot. Stephanie specializes in curly hair and has always done a wonderful job. I love both of these ladies!
