Allow yourself to be tempted to try taste-testers: their flavor pallette encompasses more than you can dream of, with some incredible combos like the Sacher Torte which includes a faint hint of apricots and adds a layer of depth to their chocolate. Other interesting winners remain the yogurt mango and tiramisu -- wonderfully blended for the perfect fashionably enduring tastes. All the fruit flavors are sorbets so vegans, get your cone on! Parking remains difficult. We ended up going to the shopping center, on the right, right before you arrive at their locale and you can cut through. Do pay to park; we've made that mistake and it makes for an expensive icecream stop (duh). So glad to be back and enjoy a summer filled with my fave icecream flavors.

This little coffee place, with possibilities for lunch or cake, is one of our faves!…read more It is slightly hidden off the beaten shopping path in downtown Ede. Koffie&koffie, which means coffee&coffee (logically) has a gorgeous interior with many modern accents, and feels like a hip joint to hang out. Probably one of the reasons you see many young people here, enjoying a break. Koffie&Koffie has delicious snacks (muffins) and cakes (carrot, a good one--have you heard the joke about the bunny and the bakery?). Come lunchtime, I go for the goat cheese sandwich (absolutely dee-lish! Toasted with apple slices) and the great café latte. What is so nice about their coffee? They always serve water with it, and a lovely flavor-maker with an amaretto kick. You can buy their beans if you wish, to take home and enjoy again.
