I am in the middle of some serious medical issues and have no doctor assigned to me. I was told there is no one taking on her patients. I wanted someone to go over my MRI results with me and was given an appt with the NP Stephanie Workman who I requested to not be seen by. During said visit she states "well, I don't typically read MRI's but I'll read what's stated on the report". I did that myself and searched on Google prior to the visit. I stated I would like a doctor note for my back issues as I have been coming for this since September of 2023 with no type of resolution to be met with "You can ask the sun of your employer it doesn't mean they will work with you". I had already cleared this with my employer and should not be ridiculed by your NP who thinks she knows my situation at work. She just did not want to take the time to write the work restriction note and it was clear she didn't want to help me. Her attitude is poor and she seems to not know answers. I have a current referral to U of M for my back to which she asked why I was not going to see the back doctor through HF. This is exactly why. Almost a year of coming for the same issue with no answers and now no actual doctor assigned to me. I wasted my time to have zero questions answered by a nurse practitioner who could not answer them. I am fully transferring care to Beaumont as this whole situation with the doctor leaving was handled poorly and could have been taken care of in a more appropriate manner.

Insurance lapsed the office manager refused me service because the insurance ran out 3 days prior. I explained the situation she turned me away said it policy they cannot bill me personally after being a patient over 10 years. Then got a bill for missing my appointment. I have spoken to billing twice and this was supposed to be handled. Got another bill today with that same charge. So sad but just know here you are a number and nothing more.

My kid is struggling with a few things, and going to a doctor's office is where she should be going for care. She should feel safe. But when I stepped in, because nobody will be bullying my kid, the office help decided to hand me over to the manager, Lisa. Didn't get much further with her either. Kept rambling on about office policy and how the NP we were scheduled to see runs a really tight schedule to stay on time. Not true. I see the same NP, Ashlie Head, and she takes her time with her patients. Listens to them, displays wonderful bedside manners, and is a trusted individual. Both professionally and personally. If it weren't for her we'd be taking our business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience at the front desk. I'm a professional, management level employee at the company I work for. If I oversaw that office there would be top to bottom changes.

This review is not about the quality of medical care but about the facility…read more At our first visit the receptionist made a snap judgment about our reimbursement card that was wrong, and I had to fight to get her to try it several times. It turns out it had a different issue that we had to settle later, but the receptionist's assumption was incorrect. At our second visit I asked the other people in the waiting room if they minded if we turned the TV off and they said they didn't mind, but the receptionist still refused to turn it off. She spoke quite rudely, too. And then she argued with my husband and tried to tell him that he didn't need the detailed receipt he knew he needed for healthcare reimbursement. Overall, given that drivers and caregivers have to wait for approximately two hours, and are not allowed to leave, and given the amount we are being charged, a coffeemaker in the waiting room seems like a very minimal convenience to expect and yet there is not one. A quiet option for those of us who prefer that would be an added bonus.

Emily was the first one I met, she is a strong force and she makes sure that you get down to business. But she's very caring as well. I would say she's probably a top-notch nurse just from a patient point of view. Everything went so well and smooth and it was a great experience.
