This is an interesting place! It's a one way in and out. If you don't park the first time you'll have to go back onto the main rd to get back. There is parking in the back! We tried three places while there plus a few shops and walked outback by the beach. We had plantains and pastalitos and a rum runner all very good! I highly recommend coming here if you're visiting PR!! There are so many places to get reasonably priced, authentic Puerto Rican food and souvenirs, and delicious drinks. There is plenty of free parking that you can't miss. I recommended doing a lap around all of the kiosks and taking photos of the menus before deciding where to eat. Also, I could be wrong, but drinking on this speech did *seem* to be allowed, as long as they were in cups, and there is no glass. You'll find people advertising jet ski rides and such as well, however it's really lovely to find a spot and sit and watch the clouds and tropical storms roll through. At night, it seems to get much more lively. read more

I swear we enjoyed ourselves so much here that we didn't wanna leave but we needed a nap after all of the food and drinks lol We went to several places to eat and drink and each one was just as good or better than the last. We had amazing fresh crab and mixed drinks and piña coladas and too many fried foods to name and shopped and just had a great time. This place is special but almost everything on this island is. Every business we entered welcomed us and appreciated us for coming in and spending money. I honestly feel like we didn't pay enough for the great food, drinks, and service we received. After comparing- I bought a great pair of water shoes and pinchos before going to the rainforest at a better rate than most roadside stands!! Luquillo Beach is also conveniently close. The kioskos are just a short walk from our hotel and right next to the beach, so they're perfect to grab a bite in between your adventures. There's appetizers like fresh coconut drinks and mango slices, traditional Puerto Rican dishes like pinchos (BBQ meat skewers) and alcapurrias (meat fried in cassave dough), alcoholic drinks, desserts, and even some souvenir shops along the way! There's about 60 kioskos to choose from, and while a lot of them are similar or serve the same things, they each offer their own spin on Puerto Rican cuisine. Service is super friendly - a family member went fishing and couldn't cook the fish in our tiny hotel room, so he called one of the kioskos and he cooked the fish to our liking BEFORE they opened FOR FREE! For being a sort of boardwalk experience, everything is fairly clean and calm, and there's a lot of great areas to take photos. read more

So many kiosks to wander and enjoy! These kiosks are amazing with great souvenirs, scrumptious food, and the beach is right behind them! This is a must stop for local food and good drinks! Plus if you want to go shopping you have a lot to choose from. The parking lot is large and there is more parking behind the kiosks as well. Make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy this famous spot! Bring your swimsuit, towels, and good mood to enjoy the beach directly behind the kiosks. You can pay for chairs and umbrellas too from local folks. They were so kind and sweet to help us enjoy a day at the beach. Grateful! El Yunque Rainforest is not too far from this area either. So start early in the day by hiking or enjoying the rainforest and then stop by here for lunch or dinner! read more

There's over 30 vendors here and so many things to eat. From margarita bars to alcaparras, there's something for everyone here. This is in front of a beach so you can eat, relax, tan, it's such a good time. Some of the kiosks close early so it's not so over saturated. I had heard about these before we came on our trip and ended up staying in an Airbnb very close to this. Some of the kiosks close early, but you will find at a least a few of them open later. That's the time we came and there was plenty of parking in the front or the back. You enter most of the kiosks from the front and a few from both the front and the back. A lot of them sell the same thing, and I love that many have the glass display where you can see exactly what you're getting. We ate at both kiosk 54 and kiosk 60 on back to back days. Kiosk 60 for dinner was great, with the unique thing the seafood empanada. We had kiosk 54 for lunch and got a pina from here too as you are allowed to take it onto the beach. The staff at kiosk 54 was great and it was closer to the north end of the kiosks. Wish I could have eaten at them all! read more

Kiosks de Luquillo is always a great time. You get to eat amazing food, buy souvenirs, have a few drinks and then take a few steps and go to the beach right behind the kiosks. We came primarily to hang out at the beach located behind the kioskos. We were there early in the day, around 9:30 in the morning, so there was plenty of parking. We parked about halfway down the line of Kioskos, where there was a break that you could walk through to get to the beach. The beach there is nice, fairly calm, and just a few clusters of rocks that you needed to avoid. For lunch, we walk back to the kioskos. The majority of them are food related, but there are probably a half dozen or so souvenir and T-shirt shops mixed in. It's not as busy midday, as it is in the evening, but I have to point out that it was definitely trashy. On the ledges outside of the closed kiosks, there was all sorts of empty beer bottles and cans, and other detritus from the previous evening. If you could get over seeing all that, the experience isn't bad at all. I would recommend it from the standpoint that there are a lot of different things that you can eat, so it would be easy to find something that satisfies your group. read more

This is the place to go if you want to do some light shopping and hang out at the beach. It's very accessible right off the freeway. You can even buy your bathing suit and beach towel if you did not come prepared. Grab some pinchos, your Mojito, and head over to the Sandy shore for a relaxing day. There are some activities you can do such as water skis. You can also have a sit down restaurant meal or hang out at the bars. Parking is super easy and free along the back as well as right in front. The best way to experience the kiosks is to take a tour that stops here. We've done the rainforest tour and waterslides first and then spent a good hour and a half to two hours here. This way you can drink and not drive. We've gone back each time at least twice and we'll go back again on our next vacation. read more

We've been to the kiosks a few times when visiting Luquillo and while I have yet to try all of them, we've been to Jibaro's (#22) quite a few times. The staff have always been really friendly and the food pretty good. The only negative our party had was the "two for $10 rum punch" special had little rum that we could actually detect in them, but they were tasty and refreshing at least. read more

Can't say anything bad about this restaurant located in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. The food is always excellent. The customer service is always great. Every time I come to Puerto Rico I visit Kiosks #38. They have the best Mofongo there's different types of Mofongo but we always get the seafood Mofongo. I tried the red snapper. I believe it was a little overcooked, but the fish was good. You could get it. I got a Caribbean sauce. The vibe at the beach is always cool. You find many vendors selling drinks and food on the beach. UN POQUITO MÁS   The fabled kiosks of Luquillo have plenty of food & drink options that'll leave you wanting "a little bit more".   Luquillo is a municipality/town in the far northeast corner of Puerto Rico, roughly 15 miles east of San Juan.  Alongside Highway 3 are scores of booths that sell everything from red T-shirts to red snapper.  Parking can be a challenge, so if you have an island guide (like my in-laws) I highly recommend going with them.  You'll be walking a lot, regardless!   The businesses here are numbered #1-60, but roughly half are open at a given time (Friday nights, weekends, and holidays are busiest).  We visited midweek, and I'd estimate 15-20 shops, bars, and restaurants were serving customers.  Most spots have counters where orders are placed and open seating indoors to enjoy whatever you purchased.   Our first stop was Ceviche Hut (kiosk #42).  We ordered arepas rellanas, which were coconut dough pockets stuffed with seafood and served with a house hot sauce.  These were DELICIOUS.  Additionally, we got canastas de plátano, plantain baskets filled with mixed ceviche.  Like most places in the area, they had a 2-for-$5 drink special on Medalla, the island's preferred light beer.  $2.50/bottle is a solid deal.   Osso Buco (kiosk #29) serves Italian cuisine, while Smokey Joe Caribbean Grill (kiosk #18) features bbq items like pulled pork and ribs.  Frituras (fritters stuffed with crab, beef, shrimp or chicken) are a MUST-BUY, whether it's an alcapurria, relleno de papa, or something similarly deep fried--you can find these in many different shapes/sizes/fillings.   Mojito Lab (kiosk #7) is a fairly popular spot where you can get all manner of things mojito-related; coconut, mango, guava, and parcha (passion fruit) are just a few flavors.  If you have kids or just aren't feeling traditional Puerto Rican cuisine, I'd recommend Revolution Pizza (kiosk #34) where you can enjoy a delicious pepperoni 'za or flatbread creation.   Although several places offer sea creatures on the menu, raw oysters are not among them--that's up to a guy in a truck named Pepe who occasionally shows up with a mountain of fresh oysters.  If it's a sleepy Tuesday (or if Pepe has better things to do, like take a siesta), don't expect to see the oyster peddler.  My wife was disappointed that he was absent on our most recent visit.  Carajo!   * TL;DR *   'Kioskos de Luquillo' make the shortlist of things you need to do while visiting the beautiful island of PR.   Locals love it, tourists think it's fun, and prices are reasonable.  You only need to spend a couple hours here, snacking your way along the stretch of shops before or after a visit to the beach.   Dos Medallas, por favor! read more

The kioskos are the best part of Luquillo The beach is right behind the building and you have access to such great food!! My number go to drink spot is the Mojito Lab! Their mojitos are by far the best I've ever had! Heavy handed and amazing flavors!!! Passion fruit was my go toparking is something the later you go in the day, but not impossible. If you're looking to sample all fritura then this is the place for you. They have a bunch of souvenir shops and bars to hop. On the other side of the Kiosk is parking for the Beach. This beach is not the prettiest but it's one of the busiest on the island. It's a Tourist trap and a must do for sure. read more

I recently took a girls trip to Puerto Rico. My one gf and I were the only ones that wanted to go hiking in El Yunque so we booked a tour via Viator called "off the beaten path" and it was amazing! However on the way back, we stopped for 1 hour at Luquillo Kiosks for lunch. It's a whole strip of small restaurant "kiosks" along the beach. It was really cool! We got some mofongo with shrimp (sadly I had only taken a video of the food) and got giant mojitos from mojito lab. I got the tamarind mojito and it was sooooo good and refreshing. As you can see in the photo, I can barely grip the cup because it was so big. They had music playing in their outdoor seating area (a bit dirty) but we were all dirty from the tour so we didn't mind. Luquillo Kiosks is def a place to check out if you're in PR! It's away from all the touristy part of PR and driven by locals. It was such a cool experience! read more

The beach kiosks in Luquillo were high on my to-do list, so I could try some amazing frituras. It was a great stop after El Yunque. Parking can be difficult, but just be patient. If you are looking at the row of kiosks from the street, we found the ones on the right (closer to the entrance) had better looking frituras. We ended up at San Miguel #59 and loved it. You can also get souvenirs at the kiosks, which is nice. I highly recommend checking out these kiosks. read more

There are some great places to shop here but didn't have time to go to all of them. We stopped for lunch at Gringo's, which is in stall 48, and I think they forgot about us. We had drinks and waited over an hour for the appetizer platter. I'm not sure what happened there. Their pina coladas were good and the food was tasty, but we had to leave. We packed it up to go. Weekends are packed! We found kiosk #40 and it hit the spot! Loved how it was laid out with prices. We ordered the ceviche and chicken bowls and how refreshing and filling they were! Flavorful dishes and friendly service. Eat outside and people watch. Locals are here to party and enjoy. Make sure you park in the actual parking. We didn't know so we and a whole bunch of people all got $200 parking tickets. Obviously if they had signs indicating no parking I would not have. Apparently it's free until the cops show up as a local told me. So this meal actually cost me $220! read more

We have an aunt that lives in Ceiba and this was on our way back to San Juan and our family will always stop here for some alcapurrias and bacalaitos. 40 years later, same kiosks selling the same exact food. This group of restaurants, bars, shops is classic! While you might easily drive by, don't! This is an exceptional experience. I first experienced these looks in 2013. Sad to say I don't remember which # kiosk it was and I couldn't check in because way back when the cell connection was kind of non-existent. Move to 2020. I just had dinner in #20. We went as a group of about 12, service was excellent, people were friendly, we were load, drinks and food were excellent. I know there are other kiosks, this one was grand. We were in a patio area with view of the ocean, sea breezes light and nice. I had the fried catfish. It comes whole. Pina coladas were tasty, I had three!
