I guess it was a divine mistake that I walked into this salon. I couldn't find the salon that I was originally looking for and had turned around twice. Since I kept passing by Lush Nails and their Open sign in the window was lit, I took a chance with them. I didn't know their ratings or prices but hoped for the best because I was tired of driving. They let my feet soak for a bit which I appreciated. Tom was the one who did my pedicure and he turned out to be a blessing. After choosing which pedicure I wanted, I was pleasantly surprised by the deep conversation we had. If you could sort through the language challenges, you realize that he is a decent funny guy with a great heart. He introduced me to his really nice wife who also works there. But I know, we don't come to nail salons just for great conversation. That was a bonus. I was very pleased with how he took his time with the massage and hot stones. And to add to your luxury experience, they offer a complimentary glass of wine! Whuhht? Most importantly, their space is clean. Their bathrooms are clean and they appear to use clean utensils and materials. There are plenty of comfy reclining massage chairs to social distance between the other customers. I was very pleased with my toes and the entire experience! You would have never known that my feet (in all its cuticle wildness) hadn't seen a nail shop since last summer. Went in to get a pedicure. The technician asked if I wanted my toenails cut or just filed, I said just said to file them because they were already short and I didn't want her to cut them wrong. She ended up digging into the side of my toenail, causing a painful ingrown toenail that's going to take months to heal. So disappointed in her service. There was absolutely no reason to dig into the side of my toe. Not coming here again. read more

I was scheduled for an appointment at a different nail salon as I pulled into their lot they canceled it. I turned around and there was Lush so I went in and they took me right in. They were so kind and helpful. I got the collagen pedicure and it was amazing. I also loved the oldies music being played. When I first came here I got a full set of acrylic nails on my birthday and they lasted four weeks. They looked amazing and were done to the thickness of my liking. Then I went back to get a fill (done by a different person at this establishment) before I left town for a wedding and within two days, four nails had completely snapped off. I came back and they were kind and fixed them for me the day I left. Two hours before the out of town wedding, three nails broke and one just came completely off. I doubt I will be back but I appreciate how clean the place is and how nice they are. read more

I'm giving a 3 star only because the first couple times I went, they did a phenomenal job. Unfortunately, the last couple times were really bad. I typically get dip, and felt so rushed the entire time. The first time I was cut twice and two different fingers and was given a $5 discount. Cool thanks? I chalked it up to be a one time thing, but Friday I was cut again on my pinky and was told I was too sensitive or something of the sort. My finger still hurts two days later. It's new, it's clean, 20% off services was great, and really pretty colors to choose from! However, the lady who did my nails really hurt me. She used the cuticle cutter to clip my toe nails. My toe hurt a good 3 days after this took place, so hence the 3 stars. I don't think I'll be going back to this location. read more

I've been coming here for a few months, since relocating to New Braunfels. I absolutely luv Kim, she does a great job! Always has great suggestions and don't have any issues with my nails until I'm due again for a gel manicure, she takes her time and doesn't rush through your time with her. The salon is really relaxing a clean, I think I've found my place in New Braunfels and my go to with Kim. (She sits on the right of front desk) although I see many people coming in requesting other employees so it doesn't seem you can go wrong with anybody there. read more

I won't be back. I made an appointment specifically so that I could get in and out in a timely manner. I arrived on-time and no one even greeted me at the door. I had to go in and find someone to tell them I had an appointment and that I was waiting. No one seemed the least bit concerned with leaving me waiting. Later they put me in a tub of cold water and had me sit for 45 minutes while they took care of walk-ins. They didn't even ask me if I wanted anything to drink while I waited. I finally just left. The customer service is TERRIBLE. I watched multiple customers complain about the services they were getting while I sat and waited. From what I and the other people in the shop experienced, there are far too many other places in town that offer a much more quality service and finished product than this one. read more

I went there a couple of days ago. One girl was dressed extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. She looked like she rolled out of bed o. Sunday morning: socks, flip flops, jogging shorts that were way too short, sweat shirt, and hair unkempt. When she sat down in front of my chair I could see up her shorts. When I pulled up she was hanging out in her car with the door wide open right in front of the store, so one one could park in the empty space next to her, and was giving people sour looks. I got a fill and 6 of my 10 fingers have cuts from their dremmel being used on my cuticles. Also I asked for a trim and she cut my nails and ask if it was ok. I said yes but then she ground them down waaaay short. My cuticle area is painful and irritated today. You can see the redness. They skimped on the nail polish. Should have put 3 coats on because it was thin, only put two so it looks spotty and thin the tips. I did tip them but I won't go back. Also. Super pricy. $92 for a fill and fell pedicure, not including tip. read more
