People with personality disorders are masters of manipulation and deception, and if you are unaware of these disorders before you get in a relationship with someone who has one, your outlook is bleak at best. Throw some alcoholism into the mix and you have yourself the recipe for a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (well, except maybe my soon to be ex). Mike was recommended to me by friend whose brother-in-law is a lawyer in Omaha. When I first met Mike, I instantly knew that he was my favorite of all of the lawyers that I had interviewed. He has a very calming presence which is exactly what I needed, because I was in a state of shock for quite a while after I realized that my husband was a fraud. He is also very patient and understanding, which I am sure is a tough job for any divorce lawyer, but especially for the lawyer of a traumatized, scared client such as myself, who requires more explanation and detail than probably every other client. Never once have I felt rushed or even any inkling of frustration from his end. Mike is punctual with responses and easy to reach which is much appreciated. My husband's lawyer on the other hand appears to favor procrastination and charging way more money for the same amount of services rendered. Britt helped me through a very difficult divorce proceeding involving three young children. I was very uneducated in the law and protections for my children and myself and equally surprised by the situations I was thrown into.
