      Had lunch the other day at the Strandhotel, which is, as its name suggests, just a stones throw…read morefrom the lovely beach in Hohwacht. Fortunately for me, it was 'Greek week' and I had some cracking kebabs with tsatsiki. Nay chose a fish which I can't remember the name of, but was flat and really nice, with potatoes and melted butter in a little jug, in case you needed more fat (we did). It's totally old school inside, a real throwback! Would be 'interesting' to stay here to say the least, but the food is top notch.

      We went twice in this hotel for visiting family around and we were not disappointed. It could be…read moreclassified in 3 stars instead of 2 ! The rooms are very spacious and confortable (TV, Wifi). Modern bathroom perfectly clean and well equipped (hair dryer sometimes even not in a 3 stars hotel) Have a look on the photos The restaurant's deco is quite simple but typical country style. May be some will find it old fashion but : We had buffet breakfast for 5 EUR ! Impossible to find in France !!! Double room cost 65 EUR/night. What else ?
