I was diagnosed with tendinitis, had an ultrasound for blood clots that…read morecame out negative, was told to wear a boot for 3 weeks and prescribed pain medication that can induce blood clots, only to find out I had 4 blood clots in my leg after admitting myself to the emergency room 3 weeks after the treatment. After the 3 weeks of "treatment" that clearly wasn't working, I saw the doctor with a massively swollen leg and was simply told to continue to wear the boot and take more medication! 2 days later I admitted myself to the emergency room. To make matters worse, when I asked his assistant why they didn't perform another ultrasound after my leg was massively swollen at the calf which in itself most likely signifies a blood clot, she said my insurance only covers one ultrasound per 6 month period. My insurance said that was incorrect, that I'm covered for an unlimited amount of ultrasounds. After all that, and sending multiple emails to the office explaining what happened to me having to go to the emergency room, no one even responded! No one cared whatsoever about my situation that was in all likelihood caused by the treatment from this doctor. Horrible, horrible experience to say the least. Patient beware.

Steven/Esteban at the front desk is always pleasant and helpful, but I especially appreciate his kindness and assistance with the elderly patients. Yesterday, the office was extremely busy (the first time this has ever happened). Typically, we never sit more than ten minutes before being called. Steven worked quickly to ensure everyone's comfort by bringing extra chairs for seating and reminded everyone there was complimentary cold water available as it was record breaking temperatures. After sitting comfortably and chatting with other patients, we all agreed that this was not the norm and there must have been a reasonable explanation. We were called in about 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment, but once in the exam room, the student/intern (regrettably, I forgot her name) and Dr. Wigley himself expressed their sincere apologies for the delay.
