After my appointment, the blue could barely be seen in bright sunlight and wasn't visible at all under bright studio lighting. It just looked black. I expressed my disappointment, and the stylist offered a redo. At the redo appointment, she dyed over my hair without fully drying it first. The end result wasn't blue-black either -- it was uneven black with warm brown patches where the dye didn't take. What also concerned me was something the stylist shared during the redo. I asked about her weekend plans, and she mentioned that a previous client had to come back in because there wasn't enough pink dye to finish her hair. She said the client had to attend prom or a birthday with only partially dyed hair. Between that and my own experience, I started to seriously question the salon's planning and professionalism. I requested a refund, and the stylist agreed and asked for my Venmo. I replied a few weeks later to provide it, but after that, I received no further communication. When I followed up again, she said that my late response meant I had forfeited the refund and told me not to contact her or the salon owner again. I never received the refund. Overall, I left with hair I didn't want, time and money lost, and zero accountability from the salon. I would not recommend this stylist based on my experience.

I was a hair stylist for years and had a difficult time finding someone locally that could foil highlight my hair. Every stylist I tried took the bleach off too soon, resulting in yellow blonde, or didn't use enough foils, resulting in not enough blonde. Donna always used lots of foils, and left the bleach on for the correct amount of time, resulting in lots of blonde and I loved it! Her haircuts are fabulous! When my hair was long, Donna's long layers were great! Now I wear my hair short and Donna's cuts are THE BEST! I like it to look a little edgy, but not ridiculous for my age (I am almost 40) and I always LOVE my hair after Donna cuts it and I continue to love it as it grows out. They said OK and asked me to come in for a 15-minute consultation which they scheduled for the next Thursday. I rearranged my workday and skipped lunch to go the consultation thinking I would be able to get an appointment booked soon after. When I completed my consultation, they told me they couldn't get me in until the end of December (it's October 17th). I wish they would have told me on the phone that they were booked out until the end of December so I would not have wasted my time driving across town and could have called another salon last Wednesday :).
