Just not in the quantities found elsewhere). What tips Memory Lane to the 5-star scale is the supreme selection of high-quality teak and mid-century furniture and accessories. Several of their vendors have exceptional Danish and Nordic designers featured with new upholstery and professional refinishing. While the items are pricey, they are beautiful and fairly valued for their excellent condition. I was surprised to find all of this in London and it's a gem if you're into the "Mad Men" style!

After selecting 3/4 inch solid white oak which was harvested and milled in Canada, we had his longest serving employee Frank come in to install all 3 rooms including step entrances, framing out cabinetry, closet and fireplace hearth. Not many craftsman and great small business owners left in this day and age, but Huron Flooring is the exception. Pricing $$$ was competitive to everywhere else we looked and the install was "Perfect" ...... if your thinking of hardwood flooring than make your first look at their store.

He knew the right colour that would go with our brick and also the glass design that would work best for our home. We trusted his opinion and he was bang on. The windows were also replaced in the front and he chose a colour that would compliment the door. When everything was installed, the installers were courteous and professional. They were very meticulous about the finishing and did an awesome job cleaning up after. We are totally impressed with them. Highly recommend.

The management and maintenance staff are very welcoming and understanding. They have several social events throughout the year, including a pool opening BBQ. The building does not have AC and it can get very hot in winter with the boiler system. It is pet friendly. Most of the tenants are seniors but there was an influx of younger folks/families when I lived there. My apartment had some older features (and the hallway decor is dated) but from my understanding, they do their best to renovate/update each unit as new tenants move in. I've been told that the 1 bedrooms are huge, but that is also reflected in the price as I do believe it's more than most Old South buildings. I was sad to move out, so that's something.
