A cute hole in the wall in downtown San Francisco! I had a wedding out of town and was flying out the same night and needed a quick manicure + regular pedicure. Luxe Nails was able to squeeze me in pretty last minute. A nice feature is being able to request an appointment through Yelp as they're pretty responsive. Thanh took great care of my nails with extra attention to my cuticles. She was efficient and I'm satisfied with the service and price point. I got a white gel manicure and regular white pedicure and was in and out in an hour and a half. Definitely come support this small business!

Came here since this was one of the few nail salon locations in FiDi!! They don't advertise it online or in their services menu in-store, but they do offer Gel X gel extensions which was what I was looking for. They managed to accomodate me since I gave them a 20 minutes heads up that I was heading over, my manicure turned out to be around $82 prior to tax and tip (the gel nails were around $70, and I got 4 stickers that were $3 each and totaled to $12) and I got a regular pedicure ($45) to go along with it. The Gel X set lasted a little over two weeks. Being a South Bay girl, I'm typically used to larger salons with more people and more "amenities". This was my first experience where they don't have a massage chair for you for your pedicure, but rather warm up water in a bucket and wash your feet in it in there. They don't have tables for you to have your nails done on, rather they put a pillow on your lap and the UV curing device on there. I respect the hustle, I'm not sure if this is typical of SF nail salons but the quality of the service impressed me. I was really impressed by the quality of the polish (all OPI) and the quantity of the swatches that they offer. I opted for a mermaid-esque shimmery polish with a pearly iridescent accent finger, since I've been seeing it all over Pinterest. I wanted a design, but I was a little pressed for time so I asked for some stickers to make my nails look a little cuter! They offered them in gold, silver, and a more shimmery rainbow color which I loved. I opted for the last choice, and I have no regrets. The ladies that work here are really sweet, I hadn't gotten my nails done in a while and I had a lovely experience here with them.

Walked by luxe nails and got a gel manicure. Had a great time with the two women there. They were very nice and very thorough and made me feel comfortable. They did a great job with my super short nails. The studio is intimate with about four chairs but it doesn't feel cramped. Definitely will be coming again when I'm in town! Cash tips only FYI

I always get my nails done at Luxe nails! Service is always high quality. They always are patient when I'm indecisive about my color choice and give me their opinion when I ask. Upon first look luxe nails does not even really look like a nail salon but more like a small closet with some nail polishes. I however was in the area and in need of a coat of color for the holidays so I dropped by and decided to get a manicure. To my surprise the women there were very sweet and kind and took their time removing my old polish and painting my nails. They gave me a cuticle trim, hand massage, and hot towel wipe as well as applied lotion and cuticle oil once my nails were fully painted. They also had a heated fan to help dry my nails fast since I was in a hurry. The price for a regular manicure was also on par with most nail salons at $25. They take Venmo or credit card which is also nice. All in all I highly recommend checking out this small nail shop if you are looking to get great quality nails, and good service!

I completely forgot to get my nails done before graduating the next day and I requested an appointment through Yelp at 8:30 pm the night before as a last ditch effort. The owner texted me within 20 minutes that night and even opened her shop an hour early for me. I haven't had customer service this accommodating and nice in years - what a life saver! Even more, she was much better than the usual spot I go to (that opened too late for my needs) and her prices were cheaper. Pre-tip was $43 for gel manicure + a few bucks for French manicure style (under $10, I don't remember if it was $4 or $7). I will definitely be back! read more

My sister was in town and we decided to indulge in a little but of self care. I came across Luxe Nails on Yelp and decided to try it out while we were in that area. We just walked in and could find ourselves a spot right away. The lady in this salon was the only one present and she did my nails first followed by my sister's. I discovered this location on Yelp last year, and have been coming here regularly since then. Thanh has always been very sweet to me and very responsive. I remember her fitting me in on her moving day, and I was very grateful. She always took extra time to do my nails, and my gel nails would last more than 6 weeks. I've tried out several nail salons in the city and this is by far the most meticulous and detail-oriented. I tried this place out for the first time today and my experience was a nightmare. I am low maintenance and I never leave these types of reviews, but this one deserves a comment. I made an appointment, same day. I went in for a gel mani/ pedi and as soon as my toes were done, I was asked to pay for both my toes and nails, including tip. I went ahead and left a nice tip, even tho my nails had not even been started yet. I complained more than once that the esthetician was hurting me with the cuticle tool. Soon enough, she sliced through the side of my nail and half of the appointment was spent cleaning up the blood. It was also so painful during the appointment and still hurts right now. I assumed that they would offer to comp something or give me extra punches on my punch card, but nope. They didn't offer anything to compensate me for the screw up. I had to ask for my tip back. They weren't apologetic until I requested money back. Never coming here again. read more

I was in town in SF on business and found this cute nail shop on Yelp. Excellent service, thrilled with the quality of my pale pink mani. Call ahead though to check availability as it's a very small shop and you may be out of luck if you just walk in. It's on Montgomery in the back of a small office building on Floor 1. The cost for a regular (not gel) manicure was $25 today before tip. Go here, trust me. read more

Tranh was very quick to respond to my request for an appointment. We did it all online. She even texted me a few minutes before my appointment to make sure I knew where to go. The salon is cozy and clean. I booked mani-pedis for a girlfriend and myself, and we had a wonderful time catching up and getting pampered. My toenails look AMAZING. This place is amazing! I'm very picky when it comes to manis and pedis and got a super quick (1 hour!) and high quality gel mani pedi combo here -- one of the best I've gotten in my life! The technician's technique is amazing and they have a huge array of colors to choose from. The space is small and on the second floor, but COVID precautions are taken very seriously and the experience is comfortable and relaxing. The pricing is also very reasonable -- just don't forget they only accept Venmo and cash for tips. read more

Unfortunately after going to luxe for several months, (and being very pleased) I received a manicure where one of the two technicians jammed a tool under my cuticle. It has been several months and a doctor visit and it hasn't healed. If you go, remind them not to be aggressive with pushing back your cuticle. read more

Love getting my nails done here! I've come here a few times and all of the technicians are so sweet and do an incredible job. This salon is always adequately staffed as well, so you won't be waiting an hour after your reservation to be seen unlike other salons in the city. No response still by Thursday night so I decided to email them and I get a response by text saying 10am booking when I asked for 4:30 pm. I text back and it's been 24 hours no response. Well I guess they don't want my business. I found another nail place and called them at 9pm thinking to leave a message and booked in 5 minutes what I needed. Not coming back here.

This review is a long time coming. Perri severely messed up my eyebrows. Lashes too, but those are…read morebetter now. I visited back in May and did a brow lamination and tint, and lash lift and tint. I have had this service done at several places before without issue. Upon leaving I thought it was different than i had done it before and maybe just needed to adjust. Idk. On further reflection she must have switched the products or burned them somehow. Half my eyelashes were kinked. Yes i followed aftercare perfectly. Then my eyelashes fell out and at some point were itchy and my lid was swollen. I'm not post photos but have them, and she has seen them. My eyebrows also were like hard and wouldn't move. Later they started falling out too. She gave me a full refund when I send her pics. But this is before everything started falling out. I had to buy a lash serum to grow them back. And then in August I started noticing that my eyebrows were falling out. I thought they were shedding normally and going back to blonde. NOPE! They weren't growing back at all. I went to the dr and it is 100% because of what she did. I now am using rogaine to regrow them. It's taking forever and she also refused to pay for product to help grown them back. It's probably going to be another 2-3 months of me looking awful because of Perri. Have the Holiday you deserve.

I'm very blonde and wanted to go one shade darker (dark blonde) and I left purple. I explained in detail what I wanted and what I didn't want, and it turned out even worse than what I didn't want. The tint was also incomplete and left me with half dark, half blonde hairs. I left looking like a monster.

My first gel x set with them was decent but nothing great. I noticed I developed quite a few hang nails afterwards but thought maybe it was user error. Simply not applying my cuticle oil as diligently as I should. I decided to give them another shot once my gel x extensions grew out and after that appointment it confirmed I will never go back again. I walked in and was kindly greeted by a woman who asked what I needed and quickly sat me down to get the service started. Another woman came to where I was seated and began digging at my nails and yanking my hand. With every use of the drill she tore at my cuticles more and more. She then proceeded to use the cuticle scissors and ripped away at what was left of my cuticles. My entire left hand was left bleeding and in excruciating pain, to the point where my nails looked like I got in a fight and lost. It wasn't until she realized all my fingers on my left hand were bleeding that she stopped yanking at my hand and seemed to care about the terrible job she had been doing for the last hour. She finished my nails and told me she didn't charge me for the fill.... As if she was doing me a favor. I didn't want to pay but reluctantly did anyways but of course I did not tip her. It's now been three days and my cuticles are still red, raw, and in so much pain daily tasks such as showering and reaching into my purse have become sharp reminders of the terrible service and experience I received. I write all this to say, this place is not worth the pain and headache.

So glad I came across this little spot in the Financial District! Luxe Nails is definitely a hidden gem in the city. They're relatively new, but that doesn't mean that these girls won't give you a run for your money! AMBIANCE: The place is very quiet and quaint. It provides an atmosphere that maintains professionalism but also relaxation. The studio has a minimalist vibe to it, from its decor to the shop layout. Since it's on the mezzanine level, you're also swept away from the noise that creeps in on the first floor of the building. There are two comfy chairs where you can sit on and be waited on hand and foot by the ladies at Luxe Nails! They do all the work for you and you don't have to worry about a thing. SERVICE: The ladies at Luxe Nails are amazing! They were super polite and offered color suggestions. The girls maintained conversations the whole time so it wasn't awkward at all. Like their store motto says, "they do their best so we could look our best." My nails definitely look luxe to say the least, and at a fraction of the price! No complaints here! PRICING: The prices here are pretty comparable to other nail salons in the area; however, they are offering a 20% off all services as part of their grand opening promotion! I definitely recommend since that cuts a fraction of what I would be paying at other locations. They accept both cash and credit, but prefer to take gratuity in cash, which is pretty typical at all nail salons across the board. At Luxe Nails, they also have a loyalty program, so I am definitely coming back to get a free manicure my next couple of visits! TLDR- Go to Luxe Nails you won't regret it!
