I think the salon is beautiful, though for the prices I thought I would get a massage chair and a tub with jets rather than a bucket. I had Sydney doing my nails. I thought I booked with Lux in Fairfield which I Love, But realized it was with Luxe on west Texas st and decided why not. I'm trying to find a home shop seeing as I have been getting my nails done more often. Well I do like the acrylic that Sydney does ( it's not too thick) but the consistency of the nails I am not very happy with. Time is money and I just don't have time to make a big deal of this. The leaf design was cute, but the inconsistency with the polish and length is very disappointing especially Paying more here than Lux almost 200 with a tip is kind of outrageous. Good luck in the future Luxe. I will say I gave it a 3 d/t ebony who shaped my toes and was so gentle and meticulous! I appreciate her and love my gel toenails. I recently moved to Fairfield & called around trying to book a gel pedicure on a Sunday! Called & they were quick to book me for the same day which is nice! Salon its self is nice, no complaints on salon cleanliness or anything. BUT for a basic gel pedicure no design no French tip no added services $56!!! Mind you, their chairs are not message chairs... the water itself is in a bucket so it gets cold extremely fast. The tech was great, so far nails are good. Went in for a gel mani/pedi. The technicians were sociable and nice, one did my hands while the other did my feet. I felt the lady doing my toes clip one of my nails too short. They had placed a pillow in my lap to catch the fingernail dust, but I looked and the toenail was fine. 30 mins later I'm leaving, remove the pillow and my white toe polish has red on it ... hmmm! I look closer and the nail she clipped too short had dry blood And was still bleeding. I had to ASK for antiseptic and a bandaid. The ONLY thing that irritated me was nobody Said Anything! Mistakes happen, but the "oh, maybe she won't notice" routine is in my eyes... unethical! So I paid the $145 (which included a Very gracious tip) but will never go here again. read more

I had a terrible experience at Office Nails, frankly I think the lady who does my pedi can no longer see and paints all over my toes. It looks like i went to a 7yr old slumber party. Anyway! I came here expecting to pay addt'l to get the gel polish off on top of the $50 for a gel pedicure. I booked online with no issue and absolutely love the job Alicia did. Even with all of the residual damage from my previous nail tech, she was able to perform a miracle on my toes. She was patient, thorough, meticulous and kind . I will definitely be back and have even referred my daughter. There are no massage chairs and it's difficult to keep your feet on the tub without the lid sliding and you'll feel like you're going to tip the tub over. But I have to admit, it doesn't bother me as much because I love the work put into the service. I have all those things at my previous nail salon but it meant nothing because I hated the outcome. Tay Tay did my gel acrylic manicure with a baby blue sparkle ombré tint. She was super fast, but that's because she is that amazing at replicating any picture. Showed her a picture on Pinterest and she knew exactly what to do and made my nails look identical. I'm torn between 2 & 3 stars. Plus side... I was able to walk in without an appointment (it was raining out) and the work was super neat! Down side.... SUPER expensive.... $30 to do a French tip on my gel manicure plus $45 for the manicure. Yes, $30 to do a white line on 10 nails.... I recently relocated from Silicon Valley and never have I paid an extra $30 for French polish. So for my French gel mani it was $75 and $50 for a gel pedicure. I've been wanting to try this location for some time. It's truly hard to find good nail techs in the bay. You can find some if you know people. I started following them years ago and fell in love with their work, I just didn't go because they were an hour away from me (live in Marin) but once COVID hit and placed begin to open, I noticed Luxe Nailscape was open. I decided to try it out (this was beginning to middle july) I made my appt and went the day of. First of all, it was a cute place! That's is a plus. But the vibe just felt off. Only two nail techs were working at the time which was nice but they barely spoke to you and didn't event greet you. The lady that did my nail was super sweet, she did a good job but it seemed like she was new. She kept asking me about my nail shape (which it's ok! But as a nail tech, if i say I want them square, they should all be square) & barely touched my cuticles. Idk if I'm paying $45 for a gel manicure I expect full on manicure!! I then got a pedicure. Super cute set up. But again, barely touch my cuticles or my in-grow nails. I mentioned it but barely touched them. I got gel pedi and that was $60 I believe.... super expensive for something sooooo basic. Ohh... I ended up getting nail fungus . Yeah... this post if overdue but I just removed my gel paint off my toes and noticed it. I understand you're running a risk with pedicures but really. First and last time I go here. SCAM artists at their finest, do NOT go here!! This place is SHADY! We dropped our two teenage daughters off to get their nails done and the nail technicians took FULL advantage. The girls wanted a standard full set and apparently were told they don't have anyone working during that time that can do a "normal" acrylic full set and that they can only do "GelX"....BS. If you can do one, you can most certainly do the other. So of course the girls don't know anything and agree to just do what they say. Mind you, pricing isn't listed anywhere and they did not tell the girls the cost for these full sets. That is where they mess up. Knowing that they are not dealing with adults, they should have been transparent about their pricing to ensure that these girls could even afford the nails. They charged $245!!!!!!!!!! Each full set was $122 each!! Neither one of them got a super custom set either. What would have happened if their dad hadn't come in to pay for their nails???? I guarantee you the normal 14 year old doesn't have a budget for $122 nails. In addition, their dad tipped your technicians $20 each which they did not deserve, total of $285!! Unreal! Luxe Nailscape, you took full advantage and you know it. You're a bunch of crooks and I will NEVER recommend you. Matter of fact, I'll be sure to share this on Facebook as well! TLDR: pricing is inconsistent and pretty high for the level of service you get. I was super hesitant to write this review but I feel it's only right in case anyone else experienced this. I went in about 2 weeks ago for a basic gel manicure. I had dip previously and the lady who helped me didn't really know how to remove dip. I let her do her thing, my nails were pretty long and I only asked her to file a bit and she took them all the way down and left dip on 3 of my nails because she just couldn't figure out how to take it off. She painted over it, fast forward - it was $65 without tip for those nails. $65 for a basic gel manicure. The next day, my nails started chipping but I didn't want to complain. Instead, I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt because it's such a cute salon and such a sweet owner. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, I decided to return. I came in for a structured gel manicure with design and gel pedicure. I showed the nail tech the photo of what I wanted for my nails and she showed the owner, who then quoted me $45 flat and even wrote it on my ticket. The nail tech questioned where I previously got my manicure from because there was leftover dip on them. After that, for my pedicure, the tech asked if these were nails they did on me or was it someone else. I told her it was my old nail salon and she said they charge $10 for having to take off someone else's work. Fast forward to when I went to pay, the owner said she wouldn't charge for the $10 removal yet my total was $160!! I asked her how much the nails were and she said $65. $65?! She told me $45 on paper but I didn't want to argue with her. Make it make sense - $65 manicure, that's $95 for a basic gel pedicure?! Doesn't add up. I unfortunately won't be returning. It's saddening because the tech who did my nails today was phenomenal and such a sweetheart but the pricing is so inconsistent and too high in my opinion for the service you get. read more

I forgot to take pictures!!! I had my nails done with Arnell before my trip. She was super sweet and accommodating! She explained the difference between gel x and acrylic nails. I had trouble figuring out what nail color to pick and she told me she was willing to try out a few for me to figure it out. My nails did start to chip the following day, which were disappointed. I think it had more to do with the product not agreeing with my nails rather than the stylist technique. She followed safety precautions by wearing a mask and wiping down her work space. The salon is nice and clean. The owner played Kardashians during my visit on a wide screen TV. This salon seems to cater to a younger hipper crowd. It was over all a pleasant experience. read more

My nails were veryyy chunky and veryyy rounded, very thick. The nails did not look like the inspo, i had to tell her how to make the french tip look more like a french tip. The biggest thing for me is that 1. a FILL should not be $100, 2. they were short frenchies so how did the price go up??? I came here for the first time a couple of days ago, and Lina did my nails. I wanted acrylic, but she suggested the gel x nails, stating that they were as durable and healthier than the acrylic I typically get, so I decided to give it a try. One broke only 2 hours after my appointment. I was charged $120, which is a lot more than I usually pay for short-medium nails. When I returned to ask to have them taken off and get a refund, the other tech named Ardelle suggested I not take them off but rather fix the broken nail. I explained that was not what I wanted, and they did remove and refund my money. However, I was very disappointed in the quality and price of the nails, especially after returning to my usual nail salon and being told that they charge $70 for the same kind and length. I was also informed that they really are not any healthier of an option. I will not be returning. read more

Went in for what I thought was a simple set. Got upsold gel. Which was fine. Other than it being $90 for a solid color set. Then got told adding design would be another $45 (the design was simple I'm a simple nail kind of gal) so I declined the design since that seemed outrageous. The tech then proceeded to say she could do 2 nails with the design for $7 each, so $28 for 4 fingers. Which again just wasn't worth it to me personally.At that point I was ready to just finish my nails and be out and never come back as I've gotten them with design for $75 other places around this area. The nails were nice but I'm sorry not worth $90 being just one color and it took like 30mins. On top of that the equipment looked used already. Luckily I didn't get an infection or anything but I mean if you're charging what you are for basic sets at least make it look worth it. The place was empty when I went in with just one other tech on a Friday so maybe that's why the high pricing. The tech also spent the whole time trying to upsell me and ask me to come back. I get running a business and that was them being a business owner but the prices immediately turned me off. I tried to give it a chance like ok well maybe it's the quality and I'll see once all is said and done but as I said above nothing about it made that $90 worth it. It did take about 3 hrs (could've been around 4) which I believe is why some reviews talk about watching movies while getting your nails done. I think it's great for nail techs to have lots of time especially for more detailed designs, but if you're in a hurry or have errands; this place isn't it. My nails came out to $76... I wasnt expecting that, but $40 acrylics + $20 colored polish? + $16 for my encapsulated nail on top of tip! I booked online & I assumed total was around $50 (which was what it came out to online when booking) Would've been great if I got a price quote before walking in instead of when I'm already sat in the chair. I would've added more designs or gems, but it does cost more & let's face it.. I'm a college student & can't afford "more" right now haha. Such a fabulous gem my friend Miranda introduced me to. My first experience with gel extensions was great from beginning to end. I did have 2 tag team my nails the first time around, Reinna and Jamie. I think Jamie came in late even though I had my appointment. Didn't care too much for that but the ladies still did an incredible job. My nails lasted a while too.....at least 5 weeks. Second time around was with Leslie and she helped me pick out a color to match my dress for an event I was going to. She also did my soak off as well. I think I found my go to person from now on.
