My husband picked up the balloons the next day at 7pm, we set up the decor while my son slept. Birthday morning 6am my son was absolutely surprised and it was successful. What upset me is its only 12pm and the balloons are already deflating, we now have no decor for this evening for cake and gifts. I called the store and explained the situation, I was yelled at that I was told they only last 8 hours. I was absoulety not told this at all, if that was the case I would not have purchased such cheap ass heluim that obviously my photos are proof that they use. He kept being rude and I just hung up. From the beginning they were incredibly professional. The first call that initiated my continued business with them went smoothly and they were upfront with estimates and- through my doubts- the team calmed them by giving me some beautiful digital renditions of what the job could look like when done! I was looking for some balloon arches all 4 times to give my guests some visual excitement and I ended up adding some balloon bouquets and garlands to fill in spots where the venue felt bland. My expectations were blasted out of the water! The balloon bouquets looked so much better than the digital renditions I was given and without fail everyone kept taking photos and loved the balloon arches! The Balloon Guy's phone assistant the third time around gave a wonderful idea about using balloon garlands around a blank wall/background to use as a photo-op. Incredible outcome!! I was back and forth between an 18ft ballon garland and a 21ft balloon garland. Their representative informed me that if I went with the 21ft garland, they would throw in free delivery (a $150 value). I asked for the balloon color options and a contract but it was never sent. I followed up a few weeks later and they sent a very limited selections for balloon color options only. When I followed up on the contract and to pay the deposit for the balloons, they said they would no longer offer free delivery. The person was very dismissive and could care less that my event was a month away. Luckily, I found a different balloon company, Plan My Party LA, for a fraction of the price.

When we got the quote we said we only wanted the backdrop and asked for an updated quote. He kept resending the same quote, citing tech issues, etc. Two weeks later, he finally said he's "not comfortable only renting us the backdrop" - they used to have a $500 min. Well, this is not on his website, it's not on the quote, wasn't mentioned on the call, the texts, the emails and we're days away from our party without a backdrop. He keeps insisting he's giving us "excellent customer service." So frustrating.
