New to the area and was looking a good nail shop. This is my second time coming here and they give fantastic pedicures. They are a little pricier than what I'm used to with a pedicure starting at $25 but definitely worth it. The massage chairs feel fantastic and the massage and scrub they give to your feet are amazing. They have high quality polish as well. They do attempt to up sell you. But I firm no thank you works. If you would like to visit a nail salon where the customer service is piss poor, the staff is incompetent and unprofessional this is the salon for you. Please do not patronize this salon at all. My dear friend just left with a horrible experience. After the nail tech messed up her ombre on her nails, the nail tech got belligerent and started screaming at her, the nail tech was so heated she called the police on my friend although my friend was calm through out the experience and only wanted the nail tech to correct her poor job. This nail salon has very cheap nail polish. Today I had a regular manicure and walked out with nails looking ridiculous as the nail polish was literally rubbing off. The lady at the register said they could do them again but I had already wasted an hour there. All of the nail polish you select from look old and obviously not good at all. I believe the manicurist should have noticed this and ask me make another selection. However, he was unable to communicate as he appeared to not be able speak English. I must say I was really disappointed in my first trip here. Yelp is a great indicator as to what the experience would be at any business, but my experience was not so great. I arrived to the location around 3:30pm. It was not crowded and I was able to be seated at the pedicure bowl immediately. I sat for maybe 15 minutes before someone came and offered me something to drink. Not a red flag so I was okay. My nail tech did not speak good English so it was extremely difficult to speak to him about what I wanted without another employee there to translate. Again, no biggie. My first red flag was when I realized EVERYTHING is an added expense. Gel polish, paraffin wax, foot scrub...these are things you can usually get in standard pedicures. Second red flag was when I was trying to be persuaded to upgrade anything I selected. I wanted a luxury pedicure, But kept being asked about the other higher prices ones. I felt they were just trying to get the most money out of me. I digress. Overall pedicure was mediocre at best. My nail tech spent more time talking to his colleagues than my pedicure. There were frequent pauses in my pedicure while he conversed with his friends. Not cool. The next red flag was my exposure to how they treated the patron next to me. The tech doing her pedicure spent more time answering phones and running to the front than her pedicure. Not cool even if it isn't me. On to my manicure. I wish I had done it myself. What didn't go wrong? I had to tell him to clean up my cuticles, he didn't file the sides of my nails, he didn't polish my entire nail and had to redo, and he sat me in the paraffin wax for almost 20 minutes! While I was sitting, I had to observe another patron walk in and ask for a gel polish change and the tech tried to cut her REAL nails because they assumed she had on tips! They kept telling her she needed a fill. WTF!? I just can't! #teamtoomuch. The last straw for me was when they tried to persuade me to pay an OVERPRICED $75 bill in cash because the owner gets charged a service fee for cards. Not my problem Sir. Tip: most salons offer a packaged deal so they want to bring cash. My mani & pedi in Alexandria was $40 if paid with cash. I will not be returning. read more

Their customer service is trash. They are rude. I was only here to get my 8 year old girls nails painted for their birthday. Nothing special that required special attention or a tricks. One guy nail tech even argued with me over the color that was being used. I said green. He said blue. After he painted her toes he said "see I do blue". Since he wanted to go there I told him technically the color is mint. But let me not forget to add he walked away after he did get nails as if he wasn't going to paint her toes. I got the manager involved at that point. Nail tech 2 -i tried to explain my other child wanted a pattern on her feet; gold, pink, gold etc... So I told her and she didn't acknowledge me. I repeated myself several times and she still didn't acknowledge until about the 4th time and she doesn't even look at me and replies "I know" in a very dry tone. I haven't been here in a while, but it looks like they have let themselves go. There was a roach running around in the waiting area and the place was unkept. The floor needed to be swept badly and the place dusted. The staff was unorganized and had no idea who was next. Three ladies were skipped and when they spoke up the staff looked clueless. I really enjoyed my appointment experience here. I've always been nervous trying a new Nail technician after having so many in the past, but I was blown away! Q was my nail technician and he did an amazing job and took his time. He speaks to all customers and makes you feel welcomed. I came to find out that he has a passion for doing eyebrows as well. He educates you as he's providing nail and eyebrow services which not a lot of technicians take time to do. He has a very friendly personality and actually pays attention to detail !! I've been coming to the nail salon for a few years now. And the last three times have been horrible. They rush you out. Ignore who your appt is supposed to be with polish is sloppy and they skip the massage and lotion steps of manicure and pedicure but still expect you to pay the full price. This last time is where I drew the line. I got a gel polish change and had to pick 4 different colors because the first 3 where unavailable even though they still had them as options to pick from so I had to settle for my 4th choice. The nail tech originally told me it would take 3 coats to get the desired color I wanted I said okay. When she finished the color was streaking and messy and she could tell because another nail tech walked over and made a face at the nails and the two began conversing as if something was wrong. She had to remove the polish and start over with a different color. While doing the second job the lady cut me and when I told her I was bleeding she said no that's just my cuticle turning red. When I showed her the legit blood dripping she sprayed with hydrogen peroxide and tried to paint over it. I didn't even want her to do my cuticles which is why I asked for a polish change and not a full manicure but she insisted on trying to pull off non existent cuticles which is why I started bleeding. Also when the second nail tech came over to try to help her make things better the boss (a man) started yelling at the second nail tech to go do something else. I've tried to excuse the few recent subpar visits I've had but this will absolutely be my last time. It's not worth it. There are so many other salons in Bowie. read more

Love this nail salon and my tech, Tim. It's the only salon I've been coming to since I found it 2 years ago. Very clean, hygienic (including replacement of bags within the pedicure tubs for each customer), modern design, and lots of staff. My go-to tech is Tim; he is very precise and meticulous with his work. My nails have always been naturally very brittle and broke easily. Tim has worked with me by using SNS vitamin nail powder to strengthen my nails; now they are long and strong (see photo). My custom nail treatment includes clear SNS powder for strengthening and gel color on top. I prefer my nails stilleto-shaped. I've called around many nail salons and no one would do this exact work for me other than this salon/Tim. Will always be a loyal customer! read more

I get my eyebrow done by Q. In a short amount of time, he has corrected a bad eyebrow job and reshaped my eyebrow beautifully into a nice arch. I only let Q do my eyebrows. I go to Tim for my SNS nails. I started with paper thin, short nails a few months ago. My nails are so long and strong, now. No kidding - I had to purchase a nail brush. Tim takes the time necessary to remove all of the old SNS product before he does a new application of SNS. I only go let Tim do my SNS. read more

This was a horrible experience. A gentlemen named Henry did my services which were a pedicure and a gel manicure. Once I said just the signature pedicure he was noticeably upset. He did my pedicure in 11 minutes, yes I timed it. No cut down, no massage, no lotion and no oil. When I asked if he was going to massage my legs and feet his response was "later". Once he finished my feet and what a half behind job it was he began to do my nails. Not only did he soak my fingers in already dirty acetone which he ignored he then painted my nails putting as much nail polish on my skin as my nails. When I said something about his lack of neatness and dry personality he just smirked. I left with no massage on either my hands or my feet. To make matters worse they refused to accept my debit card. I was first asked if I had pay pal or cash app and then was told I needed to go to the ATM in the back. Once I declined they told me I had to download one of the apps or I could not pay. I went to my car where I always have cash for emergencies but this will be my last time here for sure. No tip was granted....I shouldn't of paid period. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, but I am forced to give a star that this business does not deserve. Walked in and was placed immediately to a table and my fingers soaked in acetone for 45 minutes before I asked how much longer it would be before I would be helped. 10 minutes later someone finally came over. I had simply asked for a removal and polish, however after waiting now almost an hour of sitting in acetone, I changed my mind and said just finish and no polish. These images are after three times washing and SCRUBBING my hands. I am appalled that any business would allow there customer to leave looking like this, and to top it all off I was still charged. So the pedicure itself was fine. Pretty pricey I felt but my feet left looking good. However, I was there for over an hour and a half and that's just too long for me. A half hour was waiting and had I known the wait I would've left but no one told me. I just sat there with my feet soaking. The salon is beautiful inside and they have a very wide selection of gel polishes and colored acrylic. That is the only positive thing I have to say. Overpriced, I've never been charged $10 to take gel polish off my acrylic nails when they have to file them anyway which makes the polish come off. The tech who did my nails was rude and unprofessional. He talked on his cell phone with it on speakerphone while doing my nails. So not only was I subject to all of his rude conversation in his language across the shop, I had to also listen to him and his friend on speakerphone. After finishing my nails he just walks away and doesn't say anything. When he returns I told him it is rude and unprofessional not to say thank you to a paying client. He still didn't say anything just looked at me stupid. His name is Timothy. I would NOT recommend this spot. Definitely will not be returning. We both went over to the bowls to put our feet in and the water was ICE COLD. My friend and i looked at each other knowing we made a mistake. I waited 53 mins to be seen by someone to do my feet while my friend wait 40 mins. We wanted to get up but we didn't want to be disrespectful. While waiting this lady was complaining that her feet were burning... the man gave her the wrong soak treatment and she had an allergic reaction. After a while the jet was itching my feet and ankles and I threatened to get up and the woman talking loudly on her air pods immediately found someone to take care of me. The man came out and he was so sweet and carried good conversation. that's the only reason i'm giving even 1 star.
