We left a message and she called us right back. She texted us the details of our appointment and was very flexible when we decided to change our time. Okay, so reviewing a spray tan service is slightly embarassing, but let's be real here: I have exceptionally pale skin, and when I go in the sun without layers upon layers of sunscreen, I burn. Eventually, that burn may fade to a tan, but really, I'm basically incapable of tanning naturally without doing some serious damage to the DNA of my skin cells. Thus, for those times when I'd like to not be so white as to blind innocent passersby, I need to fake it, and there's no better way to fake it than to get a professional spray tan, and for my money, there's no better person to get a professional spray tan from than Danielle. I was referred to Danielle by a dear friend of mine, and have been going to her on and off for close to two years now. I've occasionally strayed, lured by the promise of cheap spray tans on Groupon and LivingSocial, but I've never found someone who does a better spray tan than her. She uses Norvell products, and while the only other brands I've tried are Infinity Sun and Focus, I greatly prefer Norvell-it doesn't smell as terrible as the others, dries much more quickly, and gives a more even result. Danielle is very detail-oriented and is always updating her methods or poses she has you do to ensure that you get the best spray tan possible. She's flexible with her availability and always does her best to try to fit you in. She's also super nice and very friendly. Now, the big downside to spray tanning-besides the whole waiting 12-16 hours to wash it off and the maintainence measures-is the cost. I would say that her price for a tan done in her studio (as opposed to having her come to your house), which is $35, is in the middle of the price spectrum. It's definitely cheaper than some other places, which charge more like $45-50, but it's also not as affordable as, say, the unlimited month for $50 at Arizona Airbrush Studio (which I recently discovered). She does offer some package specials, so you might want to check those out. I personally can't really afford my spray tan habit at the moment, but once I can again, I may be doing the $50 unlimited package at Arizona Airbrush Studio. However, for a special occasion, I would definitely go to Danielle to make sure I came out with an awesome tan. I frequently get compliments on my tan after I've gotten a spray tan. Despite my extremely fair skin and light blond hair, when I tell people that my tan is fake, they always seem amazed, which is definitely a good thing in my book! Fellow Yelpers, if you, too, suffer from the curse of pale skin and would like to see how being tan feels for a change, or if you're able to tan in the sun but would like to prevent future sun-induced wrinkles, I highly recommend checking Danielle out. read more

She prepped me with a PH spray to insure longevity of the tan and made sure not to overspray my hands or feet, which we all know is the dead giveaway to a spray tan!!! From an ex-spray tanner to a now client I must tell everyone in my personal and professional opinion that luxury spray tan is the go to spot in AZ. First she does not have a one color fits all - she wants to educate you on what best suited your skin. Second her studio is absolutely adorable and so clean. Third her technique is complete attention to detail and made my old at home tanning techniques look like a rookie job. She makes you feel so comfortable and goes the extra mile to blend, avoid lines, dry you, prime you, and powder you. She definitely knows what she's doing and deserves to be booked 24/7. I know in AZ you can't avoid a natural tan but the tan lines are harsh so make sure you wear your sunscreen and get your spray tan instead. Prices are fair and extremely competitive for what you are getting and personally I enjoyed booking with her as once I found her on yelp I made my appt with a few clicks on yelp.
