I switched and after a year with this new company I can say this is not normal. They overcharged for everything. They destroyed plants breaking branches, lawn - pouring pool water on it (still can't grow back) and when the pump broke they said they'd maintain the water while we waited for repair. They not only didn't maintain it but I had to drain it 3 times in 2 months because they could even get the water balanced from scratch. They were also dishonest on occasion about repair and showing up. Nice people but not acceptable service. I caution anyone from working with these guys. It's expensive and the damage is even more expensive.

I went on YELP and found KC Tile. From their website, it sounded like they could do the work. I called them and texted a picture of the missing tile and Kyle gave me an estimate. I had him come out to do the work and I realized that our tile was covered with calcium. Plus my pool deck had moved slightly. Kyle suggested that we remove the calcium and replace the caulking around the pool. He gave me an estimate that I thought was fair and I asked him to proceed with the work.
