I asked what I said to offend her so badly in a respectful manner. She told me she's in shock that I said our women are the ones that clean the house rather to equally and have men and women clean. In reality my whole entire family cleans the place before we return a rental even the kids clean tho the women are the ones that make everything squeaky clean that I would never be able to do myself as man so. Shame on this host for turning away a customer because they come from A different culture. I hope all your rentals customer see this and expect a very judgmental host. In addition, our host representative contacted us on the first day (via email, no text or call thankfully) to make sure everything was OK. The property in Pasadena (The Madison) was super clean and had everything we needed. The king-sized bed was more comfortable than our own, and we slept like babies. Our kids enjoyed their own TV in their room, so they didn't sleep as much. ;) Our location was perfect in Pasadena for walking. We were there for an event at the Convention Center and walked there every day. Parking at the Madison was relatively convenient and, most importantly, super secure (gated, garaged). How the Vacation Living went above and beyond: 1. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and adding a night to our reservation was super easy and cheerfully accommodated. 2. I accidentally left some clothes in the unit, and the housekeeper found them, contacted Vacation Living, and they were shipped to my home. :)

My relatives, who are in their 60s, booked an airbnb with listing ID 954530171704574044 in Alhambra (named "Sunny Vista Escape" and hosted by "Tammy" and co-hosted by TravelSGV as of this review) for a few days in 2025. At the end of the stay the host messaged them claiming they broke a drinking glass and a piece of furniture, then had airbnb charge my relatives. Both were completely false claims. My relatives denied the bogus claims but Airbnb still charged them. Imagine that you have a totally normal stay and then you're hit with these totally false accusations. Just imagine how infuriating this is. Then read the other review from GIllian C. here on Yelp. EXACT SAME situation. Then read the one-star reviews on TravelSGV on Google. The fact that this has happened multiple times means it's a deliberate pattern of behavior. I'm sure these aren't the only incidents. Just think about the other guests who haven't taken the time or don't know how to write a review here.
