I am giving a 3 star only because the cabinets were painted beautifully. I got my whole condo painted. as I walked around there were so many things wrong. there were paint drips on floor, etc. they didn't sand correctly. missed a lot of spots. Mike came out a couple times but I kept on finding more mistakes. I got a painter in to see how much it would cost to fix the mistakes. $1950 on top of the $7400 I had paid Mike. I asked Mike to split difference never heard back from him. read more

From start to finish, they were incredibly thorough and helpful, and the entire crew was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to have in our home. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were happy every step of the way and truly cared about the final outcome. Their attention to detail really stood out, they carefully patched all cracks and holes in the walls and even repaired damaged drywall before painting, which made a huge difference in the final look. What impressed us even more was that after the job was done, our floor installers accidentally damaged some of the fresh paint, and LVS Paint still came back to help us and make it right. We were beyond happy with their service and the quality of their work. I couldn't recommend LVS Paint more highly, truly a top-notch team. Do Not Hire - Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Overcharging We hired Mike and his team to do Roman clay painting, and the entire experience was a disaster. Mike initially came alone for the quote, then returned with his team, assuring us they could complete the job within the quoted time or even faster. However, from day one, they were late and disorganized. * On the first day, Mike and another team member arrived late at 10:30 AM to apply the base coat and left early. The base color was completely wrong for the seafoam shade we requested. They also failed to cover the cabinets properly, leaving base paint on them. * The next day, the Roman clay worker arrived at 9 AM but spent most of the time on their phone, took an extended lunch, and left at 2:13 PM. * We remained patient and even accepted the incorrect base color, asking Mike to at least consult with us on the living room and kitchen/dining areas. On Wednesday, they were scheduled to start at 9 AM--but no one showed up. After my husband texted them, they claimed they'd arrive at 10:30 AM, yet still, no one came until 11 AM.That worker then left at 2 PM, while Mike worked from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. In total, they only worked 22 hours at the agreed rate of $60 per hour--yet suddenly, Mike added an extra $5,500 to the bill to "finish up" the job. We had already paid a $2,500 deposit, and what they delivered isn't even worth that. When my husband questioned the hours, they ridiculously claimed that their 3 hours of work are equivalent to 8 hours of someone else's--like they're performing surgery instead of painting. We have security camera footage proving the actual hours worked. Not only is the job unfinished, but the quality is so bad it now has to be redone. This team clearly took advantage of us, knowing I'm 36 weeks pregnant and don't have time to find someone else. If you're considering hiring them--don't. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. We regret not paying with a credit card so we could dispute the charge. Save yourself the stress and find someone else! read more

When I hire a contractor, the most important thing to me is communication. Michael went beyond my expectations. He responded to my Yelp quote request immediately and was always available to me from then until the end of our interior painting project. He did everything we agreed to and did it exactly in the time frame we needed it done. His price was extremely reasonable. He and Ernie did a beautiful job and were an absolute pleasure to work with. My fiancè and I needed some rooms painted in the home we just purchased. We requested for the job to be completed before we moved our furniture in. Some of our walls were beat up from us removing the wallpaper, so we needed a sanding and spackle job. I was really nervous the walls would never look the same and it would cost me a fortune to fix. However, LVS did an excellent job repairing my walls and painting them at a very reasonable price. The owner, Mike, is reliable, responsive and does his diligence to get the job completed promptly. His workers were there every day bright and early and worked their butts off to complete this job in a timely manner. The paint job was neat and professionally done. Really great painter and team. Mike came out and evaluated my project listening to all my ideas and answered all questions. He is very easy and open to talk to and understands painting and all the work required. His team showed up every day on time and cleaned up each day. They were very professional and courteous which is very important when you have people in your house every day working. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction. Also, I would like to say that I got several quotes before calling LVS Custom Painters, and Mike beat all those numbers. We were so impressed by LVS that we hired Michael and his team for another home project before they even finished the first one! We initially hired LVS to repaint our basement (a pretty complex job that required drywall work and painting arched walkways, a stairwell, around a bar with a counter and cabinets and floor to ceiling mirrors to name a few aspects of the job) and the results were excellent. Not only was the job completed on time, but Michael and his team were on time every day, respectful, and overall just really nice people. I never had an issue getting in touch with Michael, and he was patient with my many questions. The pricing was also very competitive, and costs were clearly outlined and explained. The ability to communicate effectively and execute on an agreed upon timeline is what separates a good contractor from great. What we got from LVS is expert craftsmanship, professionalism, passion for the project and incredible communication. Mike, the owner of this family owned business, was able to walk us through the entirety of the project in a manner that made us feel confident it would be completed properly. Throughout the entire process, we were updated with pictures and descriptions of daily progress. He stayed late on several nights then came back early the next day in order to ensure the project was completed within our tight timeline. Mind you, this project was completed virtually since it was our shore house and we were home in PA. Nonetheless, it felt easy to communicate the scope of the project, get an appropriate estimate and then feel at ease as the project was ongoing because of Michael. LVS operates smoothly due to its owner's passion for presenting a great product. When we arrived at completion, we were so pleased at how meticulous and flawless the final product turned out. I can confidently and assuredly recommend LVS for your next project and it would be my pleasure to be a reference for them.
